Since we were looking for food that was halal and free of oils that contained alcohol, we found two suitable options, according to the caterers, which were Pizza Margherita and Peri Peri Chicken Burger, and the food was delicious.

Decided to stop for a couple of drinks here. Atmosphere great and had live entertainment from 5pm. Price reasonable with pleasant service with a smile. View of lake beautiful also in the sun and away from the hustle and bustle of the main road. Will come visit again! 😍

Great view of the lake. A good choice of drinks and the upstairs inside section is nice for when it’s colder out. We didn’t eat but the prices looked reasonable.

Especially on a dry day this place is second to none

Went for lunch, had to go and get a menu myself from inside. Crashed into the glass door which was closed. It probably looked funny but now have a bruise on my head and a cut on my nose from my sunglasses. Not very clever having large clear glass door in a doorway with nothing on it to make it visible! Left dazed and without food..

Loved it, good food and loved the entertainment

Excellent service with friendly staff. Pizza had a soggy base unfortunately. We went for the live music with a view - the view was good; the live music had a bit of a holiday park entertainment vibe - great if you're looking for family friendly (rather than romantic!).

Nice pub for drink and food conveniently located close to the ferry terminals and shops. Great vantage point to watch the world go by ......

Modern bar, great food, great service with live entertainment. Reasonably priced drinks, plenty of food for the price. Dogs and children allowed.

Big portions which is refreshing, good beer and live music for about 3 hours each night I went there.

Shame the only bar open was downstairs with a long que. Apart from that, the place and views are fantastic. I would definitely go back, even in poor weather, the covered area would give excellent views. We didn't have food, but it did look and smell excellent.

The pub is situated next to Windermere Lake offering a very nice view while eating or having a drink with friends. In warm weather outside seating is wonderful. The has 2 levels with bar for food and drinks on both levels. The live music offers a nice atmosphere. The staff is nice and open for good chat. The service is good. The burgers and chips are tasty, also a good selection of drinks. Seating is good and you don't feel cramped. The centre and car park are just 5-7 minutes walk. Bus stops few minutes walk. The train station is 30-40 minutes walk away or 15-20 minutes using the bus. Recomend the place.

Amazing meal two weeks running. Had Tomahawk Steak Special. Every element cooked and seasoned to perfection. Bar tenders super friendly and helpful, servers equally amazing, especially Ollie. The manager came for a chat and was very gracious. Got to praise the chefs too. Both visits the food was superb. Can honestly say that we enjoyed the best meals we have ever had two weeks running, which shows consistency sadly lacking in other restaurants. Already organised a third trip to introduce our family to this superb restaurant. Thank you to everyone involved in creating such memorable experiences. Eaten in a few places in Bowness and the Lake View Graden Bar is by far the best

It was amazing, went here with my family and came back the other day because of how good it was! Highly recommended for a nice meal and a nice time!

Great lookout from outdoor seating. We just had drinks. Cocktails nice. The meet and greet guy was helpful and pleasant as was the girl serving drinks. A couple of the male bar staff were rude and surly.

All the staff were nice and helpful, it was a good atmosphere with the live music. The food was good and we didn't wait long for it.

Al Fresco with stunning lake views. Good food. Clean toilets.

First visit here and no complaints. Decor and atmosphere was fine and the sun was out too, providing the perfect spot to stare out over the lake. Only stopped for a quick drink but will come back and try the food next time we're in town.

Good food at a decent price. Good selection of drinks. Only problem was the live singer. On both occasions we went there was a different singer and both of them were shockingly bad. I was ready to walk out after 15 mins

We recently went for lunch! The place itself is nice and amazing views of Lake Windermere. The staff were attentive but the food was really disappointing!

Visited here twice for food during our stay at the Cranleigh Boutique Hotel and the food and drink was brilliant. Live music every night was also great and the view across the lake is stunning.

Really nice bar and beautifully decorated inside and out. Really good choice of beers and alcohol. Excellent conservatory area and balcony with seating. I didn't eat here but the food did look really good! Would recommend! 👏🍻

This bar has a stunning beer garden. Alcoholic drinks are what you would expect given the location and views. However, Coke at £5.50 a pint seems excessive. Haven't eaten there but food does look good, and they have regular live music between 5 and 8.

Incredibly rude, grumpy man, presumably the owner or manager. Extremely standoffish. A great shame that his rudeness spoils the atmosphere and overall review of this otherwise lovely restaurant/bar.

Appalling! Avoid at all costs if you have dietary requirements!! My daughter was given meat on her vegetarian meal, the attitude of all staff from waitress, to bar, to manager was so blasé and uncaring, "what do you want me to do about it?" With a shrug of the shoulders was the attitude. A brief apology and refund was only given when I asked. My daughter was in such a state and no concern was given to her welfare. Y

Great chilled out bar, live singer most nights. Good selection of larger, wines, etc Friendly staff.. WCs are fresh and clean. I have not had food there but look good. Gorgeous view of the lake.. 👌

Dog friendly with good sauce on tap - really nice to come here today and grab something to eat, and chill in the beer garden with the dog. Ordered the hawkshead beer which wasn’t great so asked to change. With a little frustration from one of the barmaids she changed it for me and all was right with the world. The food and pub/ bar is great. Bit crammed in but always means you got somewhere to sit. Definitely visit even if you need to change your sauce.

Had a good couple of hours here, decent atmosphere and live music, seems to always be busy.

This place could be so much better. Location, venue & live music 10/10 Food is good for pub food, but the staff in bar just don’t know their drink it’s painful. Been two nights and gin glasses are all cloudy not clean looking told this was due to the “polisher”. Cocktails are half pre-made form what we ordered. Didn’t know what botanical gin meant etc.

Beautiful place, and wonderful views over the Lake. We sat outside in the sunshine enjoying the views and listening to lice music.

We were privileged to visit when the weather was amazing and had a drink looking out on to the lake it was beautiful.

The food was lovely and very delicious, However, one of the staff members working at the top bar was very rude and ignorant, although the top bar was not open, probably cause it was mid week and early in the day we asked where to order and he grunted down stairs now for people walking in from the side you would think it's the stairs for staff we went back he had his head phones on again and we had to shout and wave to get his attention, his response was I told you down the stairs in a pissed of mood I responded it says staff only he. He looked even more pissed off and pointed to the outside area and said over there in such a moody way it's great to see young people working but they need to learn manners and politeness to others

We randomly chose this place because of the vibe, and it was our best decision. The live music made our visit even better! We had the mac and cheese with beef brisket and the duck gyozas. It was the best mac and cheese I’ve ever had—so creamy! Loved everything about this place: the ambiance, atmosphere, and music!! It was a perfect end to a perfect vacation.

Visited here in June 2024 with my wife who has mobility scooter. The accessibility is great and the view amazing. Quality establishment in all aspects, we stumbled on it by chance as it is set back from the main road. It is only a stone's throw from where the boat from Lakeside Pier lands and is perfect for a refreshing break for food and drink. Only down side is that you need to go downstairs to outside bar (may be different in winter and colder months) to order food so anyone with mobility issues needs to be accompanied by an able person. There is outside eating and also a large conservatory both with lake views.

Love this place can't wait too go back. Very relaxing although in a busy area.

Great place to sit in the sun and take in the view, but all three (overpriced) meals were substandard at best. There was a delay in service (40 mins), but that was understandable as it was 1pm on a Saturday. If it weren't for the fact we needed to move on, I would've requested a refund. I might be being unfair as the rest of the place seemed great and perhaps Saturday lunchtime isn't the best b time to visit, but I wouldn't ever be tempted back for food.

The name says it all ... Lake view! Grab yourself a seat on the top floor and enjoy a great view with some good wine ... can be very busy at times so not easy to find a sit. They sometimes have live music I would recommend it for a quick stop

Awful place. The barman downstairs has a serious attitude problem, the (expensive) fish and chips were greasy and tasteless (the minute portion of mushy peas came in what looked like a McDonalds ketchup holder), and the loud music would have gone down well in a bar on the strip in Magaluf!!! Live locally but will definitely not be back!

Myself, my girlfriend and our 2 dogs visited this bar for breakfast and again in the evening for the live entertainment, both times we were very impressed!!! Breakfast time was quieter, which was ideal because we go to pick a seat with an amazing view while we enjoyed a beautiful "butchers breakfast" When we came back in the evening the place was transformed!! Live music, hundreds of people creating a friendly, upbeat atmosphere with the exact same spectacular views!!! I'd highly recommend visiting this place!!

Food was nice but stood in queue for 30mins at bar to order, one person serving with others cleaning behind. They should have a separate queue for food orders and all staff jump on tills to ease the queue.

Two great nights with live music and lovely food.

Visited last week for a meal with my wife and parents in law. Food was really nice as were the drinks. Only downside was that despite it being quiet you have to order at the bar, however quite commonplace these days. We sat in the conservatory area overlooking the lake due to miserable weather. There's ample outdoor seating so on a sunny day it's a great place to go.

Food was very good, decent portions. I particularly enjoyed the Star wars cocktail with that gorgeous view. They're also dog friendly, so lots of friendly furry faces around.

Beautiful setting with breathtaking views. We had drinks there on both nights of our stay and really enjoyed our visits. The most expensive bar for drinks we visited, so decided not to eat there. But, appreciate, you are paying for the spectacular views.

This has an amazing view of the lake. We've been a few times and love it. Dogs allowed too which is a bonus.

When the weather is good this is a vibrant little venue with good views over the lake , food is pretty good, nothing special but fills a hole... staff very good and polite....not sure on some of the live music though, heard better in the shower, but hey,other people liked it so happy days.

what a view beer wine in sun stunning site

This is the perfect place come rain or shine which is pretty important in the Lakes! It's not cheap, but given the commanding location and views over the Lake, I don't think you could expect it to be. The bar staff were really excellent and helpful, the wait staff not quite so attentive. The food portions are generous pictures is the single helping of nachos which satisfies 2 as a snack or light(ISH) meal. The use of proper queso makes these superior to most efforts at nachos and the pulled pork was lovely if a little over sweet. It's a refined setup here and the live music was great as well, and acoustic set while we were there.

Nice spot but chap in the upstairs outdoor bar might need to take lessons on how to pour a pint of guinness. Ordered a guinness and cocktail. He started to pulled the pint of guinness and he left the tap running over the glass whilst making the cocktail and let the pint over flow for about 30-40 seconds. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. When his colleague seen it I don't think she believed what she seen. As there was no 2 part pour and it was left to over flow there was no head on the pint. Not worth £6.50 in a million years. My wife did enjoy the cocktail however but at £12 it would want to he decent.

Ordered 2 flat white got luke warm latte. Many items on food menu missing. No tea either. Give it a miss there much better places closer better food and service.

Very nice bar to visit on a summer evening with fantastic views over lake Windermere

The outside deck is a stunning place to sit and watch the world go by with a fantastic view of the lake. We were put off by one issue though. One night we were told we they were closing the downstairs bar. We were welcome to carry on sitting outside where we were, they were just informing us that we would have to use the upstairs bar to get more drinks. No problem there. However a few days later we stopped by for food. As the weather forecast predicted rain, and the skies were mirroring that prediction, we went to the upstairs bar, which is inside. We were then told that they were currently only serving food at the downstairs bar. We said we don't want to sit outside because it looks like rain, and the advise was to sit under an umbrella if it starts raining. Granted those umbrellas are quite large, but no match for the British weather when it wants to rain. Who wants to sit under a brolly in the rain when we could be sat inside. We were so baffled. Are you open inside or out, upstairs or downstairs? There doesn't seem to be any logic to it. They lost us as customers that night.

Had an amazing breakfast here, very popular and you can see why. Friendly staff, great food and dog friendly. Lovely views looking out across the lake.

A beautiful set-up. The ambience is very lovely there is open seating with the lake view. There is also a floor one Seating. They serve alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages and their food items are also good. We had vegetarian options. The quantity was adequate and not very much. The food was served piping hot and was very delicious. Would recommend for the view and the service. The service time is about 20 mins. Also, a pet friendly cafe

Live music and the burgers looked good but essentially an overpriced tourist trap using the lake view to drag them in. Peroni £6.80 pt, Guinness £6.50.

Outside bar has had a makeover and is better than before. Food is quick fix need to look at more share dishes for a quick snack .

Last week i went to have some food with my 9 month old sun and some friends (all male). I was told the only baby changing facilities were in the women’s toilets. I had to leave as i was unable to change my suns nappy. Really disappointing, management should do better.

We went for a few drinks and got to listen to the lad that was singing...fab night all round

Disappointed with the quality of food for the price, £45 for two people to have a burger and one drink each. The quality isn't as good as other options around.

Okay for a quick meal- very busy and noisy when we went in but it was a Bank Holiday weekend so we expected it! The fish and chips were okay, nothing special but did the job. Theres a nice view of the lake from the conservatory.

The manager was very rude and insulting. He made an offensive remark and we did not appreciate it.

The food was pretty awful, soggy fish and chips, no flavour and definitely from frozen which cost £17. Great view and service, don't eat here but you can't go wrong with the live music and drinks

Perfect place to sit out and enjoy the spring sunshine. Disappointed the downstairs bar wasn't open so had to carry drinks down staircase.
