We really loved our visit to Lahpet on a sunny Sunday lunchtime, seated outside on the terrace. It felt a bit like being on holiday. Service from our young waitress was really sweet and attentive. The crispy fried bream dish is a taste sensation and is really popular judging by the number of plates going past. The aubergine with crispy onion and peanuts is also a winner. We will definitely return as we discovered we really enjoy the flavour profile of Burmese food.

Excellent service by Jeddes the manager. It's a large restaurant, with very clean and attentive service. The food was flavourful but the wine list was extremely limited. I have advised the manager and he said it will be extended soon. We ordered Grilled aubergines, ginger salads, mutton curry, fried bream, king brown curry, rice, seasonal greens, coconut rice, and a bottle of Rosé wine. Every dish was full of flavour. Recommended.

Third brilliant visit to this restaurant, which is probably my favourite in London. The food is sublime, the prices are really fair and we like all the staff. The king prawn curry is a steal for £20 and the ginger salad and green tomato salad are both amazing. The wine prices are incredibly reasonable for London too. We cannot wait to come back in the autumn, we love Lahpet.

Fabulous service and great food. Hake Masala is highly recommended, cream rich sauce with fried fish and crispy potato. Coconut noodles with chicken with tasty coconut flavor, nobody will say no to this dish.

Discovered this Burmese near China town last week and it was absolutely splendid! The whole fried beam fish was the highlight of the evening, crispy on the outside, tender and juicy inside, and topped with a delightful spicy sauce. The desserts were a real treat as well, particularly the pandan coconut creme brûlée. The ambiance was charming, adding to the overall experience. I can't wait to return, especially for that superb fried fish!

We stopped by for a pre-show dinner and were absolutely blown away. By far the best meal we had during our short stay in London. The paratha was crispy and savory, aubergine was so smoky and flavorful, and we absolutely loved the hake masala (flaky, tender fish in the most delicious sauce with a nice kick) and the tofu nway bowl (so unique and creamy). We were licking our fingers and happily stuffed on our way to the theater. The drinks were also incredible - a small detail, but we loved the glassware. Highly recommend the tumeric sour and gin & tonics.

Unfortunately, this restaurant is closed. We tried to visit this restaurant during our holidays in London (September 10th) and the local seemed to be closed from several months before.

£2 for chili potong. IYKYK. sad face. The rest is usual Malaysian restaurant in London fare, a little bit above average.

A tiny restaurant and not much room if waiting for a takeaway previously ordered, although we were kindly offered cold water while we waited. All food was delicious but can recommend the Crispy Aromatic Duck, and King Prawns with Ginger & Spring Onion.

Nice enough restaurant with good food serving a variety of indian standards. Not really in crawley though.
