I have always loved going to art galleries but when I became disabled it wasn't an option for me. I now however have a powered wheelchair and a ramp outside the front door so I can get out on my own and even use the bus. I went on (Thursday 11th July 2024) and it was great. It's a wonderful art gallery and there are some really gorgeous pictures and tapestries along with many sculptures and rooms from the late 18-19th century. I had already decided that I wanted to get lunch out and I know that the art gallery has a wonderful cafe but we couldn't go on our visit because their card machine wasn't working and was only taking cash! Well, in the new age of technology I don't carry much cash on me and so we went elsewhere for lunch. All of the staff that we met were helpful and kind and I just know that I'll be back in future.

Easily signed from the motorway with ample parking. Friendly staff who were helpful. Excellent range of artwork and furniture with explanatory notes. We enjoyed seeing the wide range of Victorian exhibits. Shop well stocked. We didn't venture into the cafe.

I ordered and ate fish and chips. It was OK. On the menu the fish is described as 'white fish' it certainly was not Cod or Haddock. But the batter (homemade I guess} was light and crispy. Limited choice of beers and wines at premium prices. Service efficient and friendly, basement surroundings pleasant.

Heel mooi opgezet museum, is groter binnen dan je verwacht. Is verzameling aangelegd door Lady Lever. Naast schilderijen ook veel beelden, en porselein uit China.

Came here after visiting the flower fairy exhibition at the lady lever art gallery. I had a latte which was really nice and the 2 children had the chicken goujons and chips which they eat every last bit and said they enjoyed it.
