I love this shop. Everything tastes as good as it looks. The cool thing is that now I can order it online and have it delivered. Of course, ordering in store is a real treat.

This was an emergency solution for the Valentines Day celebration that was supposed to take place at Godiva Cafe at Harrods (same location). Unfortunately, the Godiva place @ Harrods has now been closed (!). So we had to check other options and Laduree was on the ground floor with a few free tables waiting for us It was a long wait and we were ignored for good 10 min before one of the floor staff members (the team of 8 as counted while waiting) decided to offer us a table. The tables were situated very close to each other and very low (short) when considered in the context of the normal adult size of the body. I felt like being back at a nursery with mini chairs for toddlers (?). The selection of cakes and ice-creams was decent. The display of all sweets was exceptionally beautiful together with fancy boxes to be used for bigger orders. I enjoyed my chosen sweet treats but my husband was not happy as his dessert was a bit overflowing with whipped cream. The service team was slow, their knowledge of the menu was low, they misinterpreted simple things which was an absolutely unnecessary waste of time. I lookef up the history of the place and it sounded impressive. Taking into account the location and the historical information I expected to see and experience something more professional. I might give it a go when I go to France just to see if there is any difference. Sadly, there is going to be no visit number two.

We booked this treat as a special occasion. The decor is very “ instagram” When we arrived we had to ask a waitress and tell them we had a booking as they did not approach us, which maybe because they are used to tourists loitering around. We were seated very close to a older gentleman and his very young “ now “ girlfriend. Which was a bit awkward, as it was like we were sharing our lunch with them on their date... Our Bookatable set meal menu was already waiting for us on the table the waitress asked what would we like to drink and we said the drink that’s included in the deal. Now that was a delicious sparking wine. Now myself and my friend love to lunch and people watch, with a variety of customers it was great. The food was ok nothing special but it was a meal deal for £39 each so I wasn’t expecting a explosion of mouth tingling flavours. But was I was truly disappointed with was the staff, they made one feel as if being there was a pain to them. When we tried to get attention for some water or another drink they all looked right through you and completely ignore you to the point it became funny. The staff also looked as if they had just woken up with no pride in their appearance messy hair We approach a waitress for the bill and was greeted with a £159 bill 😲 we asked the waitress to double check this to which she replied it was correct. Their argument was that we didn’t have the set drink on the menu, we said we asked for that That’s your mistake not ours!! After a lot of eye rolling and tutting and feeling absolutely humiliated they took the drink off the bill. There’s also a minimum spend on the receipt of £49 Although our set meal was £39 See the attached Receipts I’m Guessing this is very normal for them as they are not used to people double checking their bills If you do go, beware - but I wouldn’t choose to go again, there’s other beautiful restaurants one can go to in the same area with staff that appreciate having a job and don’t act as if they own Harrods Such a shame Disappointed customer

Food was excellent. The waiting staff weren’t great. Waited ages between courses. Cutlery placed to indicate finished and yet we got asked multiple times if we were done. The bill was inflated. They tried to tell us we had ordered a more expensive sparkling wine . We didn’t . We were clear on what we ordered. I guess not a lot of people scrutinise their bill in places like Harrods. After we finally settled the bill, the staff couldn’t even say goodbye.

The atmosphere and interior are simply amazing! For a short business trip in London and need to do some shopping at Harrods After a busy shopping spree you can definitely feel the relaxed ambiance here. The macarons are the best I ever had 😀 will definitely come back tomorrow to bring some boxes to Amsterdam

Waiting time and quality of food isn’t great. We waited 25 mins for a table and when we ordered I asked for a bottle of water as we were standing for 25 mins and it was getting warm in there the bottle of water came with our order after another 20 min wait. The quality of food isn’t great either. Laduree is just famous for macaroons nothing else. Staff are pretty rude too they should smile more even if it’s fake considering the prices people pay in laduree. There are other places on the area who have better service and are cheaper

We were looking forward to experience the feeling of being in that nice and attractive place but we were very terribly disappointed on the very bad service from the staff. They were very rude and very unpolite. Never been experiencing that feeling from staff before. But that is not the staffs fault it must be the management who needs to be changed or improve their leadership.

We were visiting London for the weekend and tried to have coffee and pastries in the Laduree Cafe. an extremely rude, tall French (I believe) waitress asked us to wait which was fine as it was a little busy, but there were empty tables. We were the only people waiting, eventually she came to show us to a table but in doing so sneered at me as if I was a bad smell under her nose. She was extremely rude, snooty and obviously felt we were not grand enough. She needs training in customer service and is in the wrong job, when hospitality is so much about customer service. Well you won't get great or even good customer service in Harrods Laduree I will never return to this Cafe. Her attitude made us walk out of the store and spoilt what was up until then a very nice afternoon. Totally Unacceptable!!
