I went for lunch with my daughter who is four years old. We had the most delicious lunch and she really enjoyed the children's chicken shish. The fresh bread with the hummus was really good as well. Great service and we will definitely be returning with the rest of the family.

I booked an evening dinner for 14 people, and I've been called two days before the event to be informed that they closed. They offer two possibilities: to move the dinner in other branch in Pangbourne or to organise the dinner in two weeks.

TERRIBLE SRRVICE - FANTASTIC FOOD I've just read that this restaurant is closed for a refurb and bmnew management. It NEEDS new management. Before, the manager was so drunk he didn't know what was going on. He had no idea on how to run a restaurant. The food was incredible, the staff were lovely and doing the best they could but had no direction and no processes to follow to be able to provide service which matched the quality of the food. Such a shame! Hopefully new management will come in and an all round great restaurant will emerge!

It is SHUT!! For refurb and new management. I even had a confirmation email for my booking. Total waste of my time and money driving there and disappointed as no dinner!!!!

I carried out a drain unblocking for them and they never paid the bill. They are not to be trusted. They pollute the local drainage system as the kitchen drain is full of fat because they don't have a grease trap. After the drain is unblocked they do not sanitise the area. Advise not to eat here.

I actually have no idea if the food is good. We ordered 3 hours ago, the food never turned up, the restaurant never answered the phone, and were uncontactable by any other way. At this stage they have taken our money, and left us to sort something else out for dinner. Would not recommend ordering food for delivery from this restaurant.

Ordered takeaway they took the money out of my account and acknowledged the order by email but take-away was not delivered. Not answering the phone and no response on email or social media. Nothing on website, phone message or social media to indicate they are closed. No idea how I get my money refunded

Food and staff very good I will Come back again

We went to eat lahmacun with my wife; sadly, the experience wasn't close enough. It was almost as thick as pide or pizza dough and not crispy at all. Breakfast was good. The restaurant wasn't even 30% full when I was there. However, you need to catch the eye of the staff to order something. They seem to prefer looking outside or cleaning something at the bar. Although I`ll visit again soon, hopefully revise this review.

We have visited this restaurant twice this month, the first time we came across while walking around Woodley, and the second to celebrate a special occasion. The food is amazing and the service is very good too, however I think the prices for drinks are excessive (£12.50 for a watery pina colada it's ridiculous). Great food and friendly staff. Live music was really loud so it was hard to have conversations with friends

Had the most amazing breakfast here. Absolutely delicious. The tea was also amazing. I will definitely be going back. The staff are really friendly and helpful too. Just one tip …..the menu doesn’t describe what the dishes are so you may need to google it. Well worth a visit.

An absolute shocking place! I don’t even understand how you have several restaurants! Food is tasteless, uncooked as you can see on my pictures, and 4 pieces of meat for a £20 dish?! It’s not even a starter size! I eat Turkish food quite often, and this was the worst of the worst I’ve ever had! Tasteless, unreasonably pricey, uncooked, portions are for birds or mouse not sure but that was shocking. I had to go to the pizza place across the road after that terrible experience and because I was still very hungry even if I had just spent £50. I really felt for the people who came in after me because that was outrageous. I still can’t believe it and it’s been a week…

As the hometown of kebab, Urfali, the best kebab I have ever eaten in England was here. It was soft and very delicious. The sauce was magnificent. the service was very nice. especially regarding the boss. The employees are helpful and friendly. I was here for the Republic celebrations and although there were nearly 120 people, the service was fast. They got 10/10 from me. Thank you for your hands and effort.

I do love Turkish food however the dinning experience at La’De Kitchen wasn’t great We had to work hard to get the waiters attention The music was too loud The food was average, it felt as if there was too much focus on getting the vegetables organised on a plate and less so on the food, you’ll get a dry sausage cut into for pieces with lettuce, tomato and onion around it but the actual dish - the sausage will be try, we had similar experience with the lamb We did like the puddings All in all, there are much better Turkish restaurants

Lovely celebratory meal out with a good variety of delicious food served promptly, great service and atmosphere .

We have eaten there and had takeaways and food delivered before, and usually we’ve been very pleased with the result. This time we were very disappointed. They offer a delivery service for dishes booked online and the main problem, as we knew, is that you can’t be sure how long it will be between your order and delivery – but it’s usually fairly soon. This time it was one hour 26 minutes! We’d phoned up a little over an hour after received the email confirming that our order had been received and were told, “Sorry, but we’re very busy here. It will be with you in 25 minutes maximum.” It arrived just under 25 minutes later. Some dishes were great, others weren’t that hot – mine, the Adana – minced lamb, was only warm and contained a few bits of grit - bone? The chips were limp. Please note, this is well below their usual takeaway standard and their service at the restaurant is normally pretty good and always friendly. Obviously, the email confirmation that the order had been received was automatically generated. Did just no human notice it had arrived? It’s great to have a busy restaurant in Woodley, but to send out a meal nearly an hour and a half after it was ordered, AND without some sort of apology or compensation, is to put it mildly, disappointing.

As soon as we finished our dessert, we were inappropriately asked to leave as we had not made a timed reservation. We were surprised at what happened. They said, "You are not strangers." I wish we were strangers. Update on the operator's comment below: You can get a better idea about customer respect by looking at the answer below.

What a fabulous array of dishes on offer at La'De kitchen in Woodley! There is so much choice! And the flavours are heavenly 😋 We had a wonderful meal and will definitely be returning soon.

Really friendly and efficient staff. We’ve been down just for food and drinks or just for drinks. Been going quite regularly and never had a bad experience.

A great place that is conveniently situated, and the goat cheese croquettes are truly incredible. While I find it slightly expensive for its offerings, the service consistently remains top-notch.

Nice experience in La de Kitchen , we went there on a Friday lunchtime, and everything was spot on food and service brilliant. Located in Woodley Town centre just a step out of a generous car park were greeted with a smile by the manager plenty of options were to sit as it was just another table having lunch such a shame for a Friday. I have no idea why it was so quiet it a shame as they have a great menu, and the location is looking nice.We enjoyed it as we got the best service from the guys . For starters, we had to share some plates consisting of baba ghanush ,saksuka , feta cigars , and Turkish pizza, which was so good . For mains, we had adana kebab, which was so tasty full of spices and very tender. Portions are big and reasonable prices. We definitely coming back soon , as they mentioned it is more lively during dinner time and when they have the belly dancers.

A hidden gem in Woodley Excellent food, very polite staff. Not the cheapest but the quality actually reflects the price.

I went to this restaurant with my nephew, midweek, as I know that he likes to try different cuisines. We were very happy with our experience. The staff helped us to understand the menu and were very attentive. We shared the Grand Meze platter so that we could try different dishes rather than just have one main dish and thoroughly enjoyed it. I’m sure we will return.

We went in on a rainy day. Parking was easy. The welcome good. Service excellent. The staff work very hard and smile ! The food came in without much delay and it was tasty. The atmosphere is not for you if you prefer less noise and a quiet chat. It’s not their fault as it’s a busy well run place. The management is good. Will come back on a quieter day.

First time here, great friendly service from all staff. Restaurant has great decor and very clean. Food quality and portion size is excellent but slightly expensive, I feel about £2 could be taken off most dishes as a better reflection of value. Definitely recommend the Lamb Beyti, Hummus Kavurma and Greek spicy sausage. The amount of yoghurt received with the meal was about 4 times as much as anyone would need, might be an idea for the Restaurant to reduce the amount to save on waste. Overall it was great and will definitely return.

We went as a family of 6 to celebrate my son's birthday. We had never been before, The ambience was excellent. The staff were very attentive. The menu was new to us as we are not used to Turkish food. We were given a complimentary starter of hollow bread with grated cheese. Our dishes did vary in quality - my chicken casserole was not what I had expected - but overall they were good

We went after seeing the raging reviews but ended up having a truly horrific dining experience. The staff was polite but since we didn't have a reservation, they gave us the table next to the door. People who came in after us without reservations were still given better tables (we assume the staff were familiar with them). The food they serve is hot and fresh but it's not turkish food, their food has a commercial taste and is drenched in sauce, portions are tiny, prices are high for really average food. The table we got next to the door made us so uncomfortable that one of us didn't have the stomach to finish the meal. We couldn't take any photos without people photo bombing us every second, waiting staff and guests alike. A truly horrific experience, do not recommend and definitely not going back.

First class service from all the staff here, our server was Aman who delivered our food with a warm smile. Atmosphere here has a nice family feel to it. Food was excellent and plentiful. Will definitely return.

Not usually fans of franchised restaurants we all agreed this was one of the best meals we had in a while. The chicken kebabs chosen by my friends were delicious as was my lamb cuvec (casserole). The portions were generous. The daiquiris and mojito were very good. It was well worth it to pay a little more for the service and quality. Highly recommended.

Not a lot of Turkish restaurants around now a days so we thought we would give it a go. Lovely decor out front and back. The bi folding doors at the front make lovely seating if you want to feel like your outside. We had the mixed shish kebab and the lamb iskender, both were delicious. The service was amazing with great wine recommendations and fast turn around when we asked for tooth picks and a to go bag. Reasonable price. Good atmosphere with music.

Authentic Turkish restaurant in Woodley town centre. Excellent authentic taste. We tried La De platter and Lamb Ali Nazik and both tasted delicious. Will highly recommend to family and friends.

Having looked for a Turkish on trip advisor we came across this one. From the greeting to the departure nothing disappointed, the place is immaculate and the food was flavoursome, we had the chicken shish, the presentation was perfect and the meat cooked to perfection, if your ever in the area do try and visit.

Real good food. I went with a large group and so I tried lots of different foods. Couldn't complain about any of them. Would definitely recommend going here. It's a bit more expensive than some of the other restaurants around, but I think that if you're looking for a decent meal that's quality meets the price. you can't go wrong with this place! Service was great too, which is always a plus.

Amazing service, expecially from the waiter, Oscar, whom gave us his best recommendations in regards to the menu. Authentic Turkish cuisine, the best I've had. If you get a chance make sure you try their mocktails, all three of them were spot on perfect.

It worth trying the mixed platters. They might be a bit pricey but the quality is good. Staff is very helpful. We visited on a Sunday afternoon with some friends with babies and little kids. Staff volunteered to look after a baby while his parents were eating.

Food was good but not a lot of variety. The service wasn't great had to ask for everything instead of being offered like extra drinks and dessert menu. The place can get load if busy but thats what you would expect on busy times.

First visit to La'De Kitchen in Woodley. Mothers day meal. Liked the place as soon as we walked in. Friendly smiling staff, polite and attentive. Food was lovely, nice sized portions, wouldn't hesitate to return and recommend this place.

I like it very much...the lamb giouvec it was divine...the meat and the starters also...best thing also was the calamari...delicious everything...the eggplant cream babaganoush also divine...the sagik no too much garlic...the bread hot...everything we order ...perfect

This was my second visit to this beautiful Turkish Restaurant in the heart of Woodley Town centre. This time I went with family and we all enjoyed the food that was simply delicious. Main meal was 2 of salmon fillet and Lamb Kebab with pistachios sprinkling (there signature dish)...see attached photo. Each dish worked out about £17 each and with drinks the total was around £90 for 3. This included a service charge of about £12 or so. Being muslim one of the important factors for me is that they serve Halal food. Although slightly on the expensive side the service, the food, the drinks and ambiance were top notch and well worth it. At the end we were offered free Turkish tea which was a nice touch. Will definitely visit again and recommend to family and friends.

Had a pleasant evening here on Saturday night. Checking my bank account on Monday to find they had taken the payment twice. Rang and spoke to the manager, he agreed they had, requested that I make a 15 mile trip to get my refund. Come anytime it will be fine. I go today speak with the manager he says I’m a liar and I can’t prove that I’ve been charged twice, so show him on my mobile banking app the two payments taken, says to me that proves nothing you’re not getting your money back! I ask him if it was him I spoke to on the phone he says no, that was the boss he’s not here you’ll have to come back, I explained I’m not coming back this has been inconvenient enough, please call him on the phone, which he does, boss confirms to pay the refund. No apology from manager, was rude and off hand and was very intimidating in front of others diners. We will never return to this restaurant. The manager needs to attend a social skills training course. Very disappointed.

The selection of Lebanese food is fantastic. Good quality. A bit pricey. The dessert are really good, the pizza..uhm.....but better to stay on the Lebanese food

I really enjoyed my night out with my friends to celebrate my birthday. Staff is so friendly and food is so delicious. Live music was awesome can't wait to go there again. I would definitely recommend this amazing place.

In the area for work. Had a great meal, I can recommend the pistachio Adana. The lamb was amazing, nicely spiced and fatty. The bulgar wheat was pretty bland and could have got the same from a microwave bag of rice. But the salad was very very good. Service was attentive, although the waiters did mix up my drink order and charged me for the wrong drink. But would definitely recommend

Food was late by nearly 2 hours, the customer service is shocking. The manager didn’t apologise or even offer any compensation, instead he gave my husband attitude down the phone. If you’re ordering for takeout please bear in mind how slow they are, never ordering from here again.

We visited today for the first time. We will definitely be coming back. Food was delicious (closest you can get to authentic turkish cuisine in this area. Our waiter ,Oytun, was just great, and all staff friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.

One of our favourite places in the Reading area. Authentic Turkish cuisine and hospitality, very friendly staff, nearly all of them speak Turkish. Generous portions of delicious food you'll eat with your eyes before your mouth. They accommodated a large group of us last minute, and have been very patient with our kids making a mess. Couldn't recommend it more.

Came here for my husbands birthday - large group. Treated with kindness, hospitality and respect throughout. Very lovely and clean food. Defo worth going! Can't wait to go again. Manager brought a cake out for hubby bday and staff sang and made the experience very enjoyable.

First class by any standards, from the manager down the crew were friendly, and very helpful. The entertainment was a welcome addition to a very good experience.

Knew very little about this restaurant when we booked a table however we were not disappointed. The food was wonderful. Well cooked and extremely tasty. The service was excellent. We will definitely come back. Next time with friends as well.
