Absolutely love the restaurant. They have 2 more next to each other and the food is amazing and price is good.

Tasty and affordable! They let you add on some extra meat for an additional £1. I would like it better if they used less MSG, though as it would give more diverse flavours to the different foods.

What you see is what you get. Very authentic Chinese noodle and rice dishes in a clean and pleasant environment. I am always fearful of diluted/localised Chinese food. This clearly is not. Wonderful!

I adore this place, always a great lunch if you're looking for rice and some meat so far and everything I've tried has been amazing. Also my personal favourite the chili chicken with cold udon noodles.

Tastes like MSG, but it tastes so good. It is very well worth the price, if not more.

I have visited this place twice so far, in a row. I would wish to eat here everyday. It’s been so far the besttttttttttttttttttt food I have eaten in England. The best Chinese food. In terms of hygiene, cleanliness of the restaurant and the food is always fresh. I will be going frequently if I am not busy. The only recommendation is the space is small and everytime it’s packed with customers.

I think this restaurant is the second best place to eat in Nan'an. The beef is delicious, the mutton is delicious, and their drinks are delicious. The boss is also very polite

The food is SO GOOD. We just moved in down the street and figured that we would check out the local chinese. Little did we know that we had moved next to the BEST CHINESE IN ENGLAND. I had udon noodle soup with beef spareribs and it was unbelievably good. The noodles were amazing, the beef was SO TENDER, and the soup was so delicious. It was hot AF so I was wheezing and crying and blowing my nose by the end of the meal, but that's exactly how I like it and I appreciate the proprietor for taking me at my word that I wanted it spicy. Also, it was very inexpensive for huge portions. £7 for a gigantic bowl of noodle soup! Can't beat that! My lady got the duck rice which was so good - perfectly tender and flavourful duck. We also got some pork gyoza and I could have eaten a million of those. Lastly, I should mention that the staff were super friendly and kind and helpful!

Really enjoyed our visit. Fast, tasty with helpful chef and service. Ordered spicy tender beef noodles bowl , veg and tofu noodle bowl and fried chicken side dish. No alcohol but great jasmine tea.

Mr Label’s (his real name!) restaurant is the best. The taste is authentic, bursting with flavour. The helpings are huge, full plate size. The price is unbeatable: £6:50 for a main meal. And the service and hospitality are wonderful. 100% recommend!

Always go here when I'm craving real Chinese food. Pork belly and tender ribs are to die for. Also good vegetarian options. You can enjoy a filling, delicious meal for under a tenner easily!

The last time I was in this place, a long time ago, it was a small Post Office. It’s now a brightly lit Chinese cafe with an odd name that sounds like a mistaken translation. The staff speak limited English, and the night we were there all the other customers were Asian. The menu appears to be very meat oriented. The two vegetarian options, with rice or noodles, seemed to have a chicken stock base and there are no seafood choices. The food is very well cooked and really inexpensive. Most dishes were around £6. It is quite a basic canteen style setting and can only offer a range of soft drinks, tea and water. I suspect this is a popular eating place for students with limited budgets.

By miles the best chinese food i have ever had in southampton real food with a great informal atmosphere...I describe this place has a chinese cafe but with the best food bar none.Dont come if you want the normal boring food served in normal chines but if wamt real food this is tje place.

Label food isn't much to look at its reminiscent of a canteen, but does some of the best, and as far as I can tell most authentic Chinese food in Southampton. You might not find sweet and sour chicken on the menu, but Label has a great range of soup and noodle dishes and roast meats with rice. The dishes all tend to be on the spicy side and are huge for the price you pay. My favourite thing to eat here is any of the noodle dishes, the noodles are chewy and soak up the broth well and the meat is always tender. The kind of food you want to eat after you've been suffering with a cold.
