What a gem. We went here for drinks and food on Saturday night. I guess you could describe this as a place that does sort of Italian tapas.... we had wonderful wine and small plates of the most delicious cheese, fennel salami, prosciutto, peppers... It is a great place for informal drinking +/- eating in small groups or couples. Great atmosphere and knowledgable service.

We were lucky to find a seat for Saturday lunch time and enjoyed being able to see all the food on display. The female member of staff who served us was such a credit to the place and instantly made us feel welcome. There wasn’t a huge choice on the menu but we really enjoyed the focaccia pizzas with salad especially the cabbage, Parmesan and mint salad. The best part was the incredible rich chocolate torte dessert!

This is a little gem with excellent cakes, Italian snacks and coffee. Great with alternative choices for people with food intolerances. Amazing vibe too. Highly recommended.

Like all the best coffee shops, this was a chance find. Small but very cosy with high quality equipment, fittings, furniture and – most importantly – food throughout. Order the rose cake if you want to coo with pleasure as you eat. Also the lattes taste divine – lovely nutty undertones and served in a stylish glass cup. Delightful find!

I had been wanting to try this place since hearing it’s the sister to Pasta Loco. Really friendly staff/owners and delicious aperitifs! Will be back many more times for an Aperol spritz I’m sure! Can’t wait to try the food to go also.

A really lovely little spot for lunch and dinner or you can take away. Delicious big fresh salads, freshly baked bread, amazing cakes and coffee and a great selection of drinks and tipples. You can buy fresh pasta to take home and groceries too. Delicious foods and lovely attentive staff.

This is a wonderful place. Very cosy, but the food is so delicious and freshly made. It’s a great little deli to pick up some lunch or a cake! First time I came here I had a very generous slice of lasagne which tasted amazing!! Went again this week with my partner and he was very impressed. I’m glad I’ve found you, and it pays to be curious and exploratory especially when you find fun places like this ☺️

Praps I shouldn’t enthuse so much as we want to be able to get a table ourselves. Lunch time salads brilliant my husband had his best sausage roll ever, quiche, lasagna, all delicious. I like changing salads so we can visit frequently. Cakes wonderful, so moist and tastey, date I say yummy and excellent coffee. Sometimes we just go for coffee and cake and it hasn’t vpbeen open that long but it’s a firm favourite. You can also buy fresh pasta to take home

Great addition to the Bristol food scene, and part of the family behind Pasta Loco & Pasta Ripiena-so you know it’s going to be good! Freshly made, locally sourced produce from early morning until night. Homemade cakes and artisan coffee for breakfast. The banana bread with salted caramel was divine! Coffee, rich and dark, served perfectly; a unique house blend for La Sorella. You can purchase fresh home made Pasta, which compliments the other delicious Italian produce. They also offer a selection of fresh salads and lunchtime treats available. Into the evening this gem deli has a wide range of fine wines and small plates. It really is a must visit!

Italian restaurants are often disappointing with a long menu of favourites prepared to british palates. Grano offers a short menu of stunning authentic Italian food. The bruschetta was a conversation stopper as it demanded a silence to savour the flavours. Rigatoni was freshly made and cooked perfectly al dente with fiery cacio e pepe sauce elevated further with crispy fried guanciale. Tiramisu and frozen limoncello to finish left us sated and delighted to have found such a gem.

Myself and my girlfriend made a spur of the moment first time visit this past Saturday night to this wonderful family run authentic Italian restaurant which has been on my list of places to try for far too long. It was a revelation from the minute we walked in the door due to the wonderful welcome and fantastic service and that's before we had even sampled the truly stunning food which was an incredibly appetising and colourful selection full of flavour and all freshly prepared including the starters which my girlfriend absolutely adored. This was absolutely top notch quality food including pizza that is absolutely incredible and all at very good value prices to match or in most cases better any other decent Italian restaurant I've ever visited. We cannot recommend that you visit this amazing restaurant strongly enough and we thank the staff there for the most wonderful meal and welcome we were given which absolutely made our evening and we look forward to returning as soon as we can.

Pure Pasta is in Saint Nicholas Market and is run by a lovely, friendly, Italian couple. The food is tasty and excellent value, whether you take away or eat inside the small unit/the couple of tables just outside. The pair of us left feeling pleasantly full and with change from £20 despite having a couple of 'starters', main meals and a can of diet coke each.
