Amazing customer service and the best best pizza and cake I strongly recommend this friendly place!

Just love La Rocca, the staff are just so friendly nothing is too much trouble. We often go there for Breakfast. The cakes and pastries are to die for. Place is an absolute joy.

We ordered an Italian cake for our wedding for 75 guests which was the best cake ever!! Absolutely superb, soft sponge with Italian crema pasticciera and panna outside! the staff is brilliant, answered all our questions as well as the owner who came to meet us to discuss our requirements. We couldn't have been happier with our choice. We would order this cake over and over again!

Friendly staff and delicious authentic Italian food. Fresh cakes and good wine. I visit for lunch regularly.

The Wedding Cake we ordered looked as good as it tasted. Nothing but great compliments from our wedding guests about the cake - the lightest of sponges with a creme patisserie /fresh strawberry layer, covered with a "secret" flavoured frosting and decorated with white chocolate. Fantastic !! The Chef and Management listened to our vision of how we wanted the Cake to be and delivered. Highly recommend La Rocca

I found La Rocca online and I was immediatly attracted by the photos of their pastries and cakes. So I decided to pay them a visit as i was looking to order my birthday cake. I tried some of the pastries and they were super delicious. So i ordered my cake and a tray of small pastries for my birthday..... My friends and i were in heaven after eating them. They are made the genuine Italian way.. I will be going back to them and all my friends will too😁

Best place in this area. Every thing italian. I love this place from the first time I had entering there. Birthday cake, nice italian wines, traditional dessert. Very clean and lovely staff.

I wouldn't think twice about getting a cake at La Rocca. They have a wide selection of cakes. You can choose from the fridges or you can order a personalized cake by phone or at the shop. If you haven't tried their cakes I highly recommend them to you.

Have visited here many times (not in the last 9 months unfortunately), service is very friendly, cakes are amazingly fresh, (baked on site I believe), and the cleanest food establishment I have been in, they are always cleaning. Freshly made sandwiches are good value.

I recently ordered a selection of pastries and cookies as a surprise for my Italian-American boyfriend for our first Christmas together. I wanted to remind him of a taste of home and boy this did not disappoint. He visited the store to pick up his gift and said it was just like the Italian bakeries back home in NYC. The Tiramisu is to die for (the best we have had) and the other cream filled pastries were also delicious. They were beautifully decorated and presented, the shop was clean and nicely laid out. We didn't have room to pick up any homemade gelato but will be visiting as soon as we can for more homemade goodies. Thank you for adding a special touch to our first Christmas together. It certainly made a homesick Italian smile! :)

Pasta is al Dente - sauce is amazing / service is fantastic! Especially from the young guy! Even the pizzas taste authentic. Seriously!

Every year we order our birthday cakes from La Rocca! They are So fresh and delicious 😋. All the staff are really nice and professional. I would highly recommend this place for all the families.

I went here with my mum for lunch and had the four season pizza which was honestly the best pizza I’ve had in a long time. Really authentic - it was like eating in a traditional Italian restaurant! Also the desserts and birthday cakes here are so delicious! Definitely a must visit if you are in the area or in North London! Will be back very soon!

Fantastic coffee - the best I have had outside of Italy. Wonderful pastries and cakes (difficult to show any restraint!) Close your eyes and you are *almost* transported to Italian piazza.

I purchase a special Birthday Cake from here this week & it was amazing. The price was extremely reasonable & the cake looked & tasted wonderful.Will definitely be returning when I need another celebration cake.

We came for pastry and coffe but we order pizza and pasta for lunch.so nice,so fresh. You can find not only pastries but and best pizza and pasta and amazing icecream ever. My family really enjoy the time at La Rocca

Very satisfied with service and food provided! Last minute finding, just 5 days before the party. Ordered a small catering for 25 people. Very helpful in chosing quantity and variety of food (pizza, arancini, lasagna). Cake was light and delicious, good design. Ice-cream excellent too (stracciatella was a hit!). Good quality and prices. Guests were very impressed!

It was my birthday few days ago, and son from Los Angeles organised a delivery of a Cassata Siciliana, tiramisu and cannoli. It was a superb and shocked surprise seeng the owner and worker delivering this due to the distance involved with deliveroo. The cassata was one of the best one ever tried even in the Cafe La Rocca itself. The tiramisu was outstanding and little cannolo was very high quality and crunchy, freshness of high quality!Looking forward to go in the cafe itself for a coffee and a cake as usual!Thank you for delirering home such great cakes....

Since the lockdown ended I have been increasingly depressed with the experience of eating and drinking out. This cafe/restaurant has restored my faith in good food and hospitality. It's strength is in it's variety; you can have just a coffee, a snack, or a full meal with a glass of wine. Staff are very polite and clearly invested in their reputation (believe they are family run). Eating here made my day - Thank you very much.

Ever since I tasted their cakes some 2-3 years back I have been hooked. They are consistently delicious, the staff are lovely and it has simply become my go to whenever I need a cake or small deserts. I have been consistently recommending it to all my friends and the recent cake I purchased for my mother's birthday was once again fabulous!

My children ask me for a icecream. One of my best friend had told me for La Rocca. The suprise was not the ice cream but pasta aldente con zucchine fresce. Frendly staff quick service and very clean place. Thank you La Rocca for the amazing day. We will come back soon.

La Rocca is the best place to meet your friends or family, and have breakfast, lunch or just for coffee and something sweet. The staff and management are very friendly and welcoming. They have the tastiest and fresh Italian cakes, Ice cream and the best coffee in North London! I highly recommand this place to everyone!

I don't usually write reviews but this place is one of my top 5 places to eat lunch or breakfast. Everybody praises their desserts but their food is really delicious. If you ever have time I recommend you go check it out.

Bought a very expensive cake for the evening, it was awful! The whole cake was dry as toast, the cream was like marshmallows! Absolutely appalling, this cake must have been a week old! Disgraceful, if I lived nearby I would have taken it back, will never buy from this store again!

One of my all time favourite cafes, absolutely spotless, wonderful food, amazing staff who are friendly and considerate. This is a little piece of Italy in Enfield - try the cakes you won’t be sorry! Genuinely fabulous place.

If you find yourself with kids in tow - as I often do - and sorely in need of a decent cup of coffee,, this is the place. The wonderfully flavoured range of ices never cease to make their eyes wide and mouths water, which leaves me in relative peace for a few minutes.Staff are extremely friendly and seervice is always excellent. The nibbles are pretty good too, wide selection of both sweet and savoury. This is not a greasy-spoon, so be prepared for prices a little higher than average... but, you get what you pay for!

This was the best birthday cake I have ever had - and what's more, they spelt my name correctly! It was a 7" round sponge cake with fresh soft fruit and was absolutely delicious.

Lovely place,I was there with my family and had a lovely time. Wow, Wow! The service was splendid and quick, I have never felt so comfortable in a a shop. the waitress was one of the best I have ever met, very friendly.

I’ve been there for breakfast with my friend for her birthday and the waitress was very rude, she bring a capuccino instead a caffè latte and when I ask her if she can change it, she start to argue with me telling me I am wrong the caffe latte and cappuccino are the same. i am italian and I know the difference, And the customer service is very important, never argue with customers or tell them are wrong!!!

This local ice cream and cake place does exquisite ice cream, the staff are so friendly and chatty which makes the atmosphere feel so warm!! Only downside is it can be a little pricey for somewhere so local!

Every morning I cycle from my estate, stopping off at La Rocca on my way collecting 10 free bagels on my way to Southgate London Underground Station. Free breakfast!! Wonderful!Well I am an important person!It just shows how connected the community of Winchmore Hill,Southgate and Enfield are!

We had an ice-cream and a little cake as we wanted to have a little taste of Italy following our holiday to Italy. Nice little place in North London. The only thing that let's it down is that the prices are inflated.

Bella e tipica pasticceria italiana consigliatami da mio figlio che abita nelle vicinanze e ci torna spesso. Abbiamo fatto colazione con paste e cannoli siciliani, tutti buonissimi. Anche i caffè e cappuccini erano finalmente all'altezza della ns. tradizione. In questo locale è possibile anche mangiare primi e secondi piatti, che però, data l'ora, non abbiamo provato. Gentilissimi sia i proprietari che il personale. Da consigliare.

We are lucky enough to live just around the corner from this fabulous Italian patisserie + cafe. It's become one of our favourite spots to stop in for a coffee and cake and the staff is wonderfully helpful and friendly! We will most definitely be bringing our friends and family here - highly recommended!!

Went in to la Rocca to order 2 cakes. Service was great from a lady and a young guy. We ended up eating here and their seafood pasta is very tasty would definitely recommend. The price is very reasonable. Will definitely recommend.

Dropped by for my lunch break from work. Enjoyed a lovely slice of pizza to be washed down with a freshly squeezed glass of orange juice. Then treated myself to a lovely Tiramisu. Will definitely be coming here again!

En La Rocca Enfield hoy y todos tan impresionado por el servicio amable y luego todo lo demás. Las tartas DIOS mío tan deliciosa y se podía decir que eran recién hecho. Luego tuvimos un buen café italiano que nunca me gusto en las grandes tiendas comerciales de café. Recomiendo encarecidamente este negocio familiar para ser visitado.

I have had a very nice time with my family at La Rocca Cafe. Service was very friendly and welcoming and the best thing for us was the food very testy and you can smell the food was fresh.For me I recommend to anyone or at least trying as you are going to be surprised how good it is.

We do not make only cake we are the right place for a coffee, breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. You have just to chose a table for the rest let us think

Super friendly staff, pretty good coffee and cakes... excellent freshly squeezed juice. It's not worth travelling especially to try it out; but certainly significantly better than other places in the area.

I come here as often as I can, I have introduced my friends and partner to this place and we all adore it! I sometimes order birthday cakes for a family members birthday especially Mille Foglie with crema pasticciera (cream or chocolate) with profiteroles and fruit on top and chopped nuts surrounding it! Absolutely amazing! We have come here so many times even if it's for a quick coffee just to say hello to the friendly team :) the owner and his wife are so friendly and funny, we always end up talking and cracking up jokes. Very hospitable people. And compliments to the chef who also makes the patisseries and cakes! Grazie Mille per tutto!

Recommended by friends who live locally, five of us plus a 13 month old were well looked after during our stop. Good choice of savoury dishes - spinach pie, paninis, aranchini etc. were all well prepared and tasty. We all had cakes plus I had a milkshake which were again good quality.The couple that ran it were very friendly and they looked after our our little 13 month girl with biscuits etc.

Firstly let me start by saying this place USED to serve good food but the standards have dropped faster than Usain Bolt!!! The cakes should be freshly cooked but in the mixed tray I ordered, there were some probably two to three days old! The cream was hard and congealed instead of being soft, and the pastry was like eating a crunchy biscuit! This was nearly a year ago so the other day I thought to myself "let's see if they have improved".......My wife ordered 2 arancini (typical Sicilian street food/fast food meant to be eaten on the go without cutlery) for us that were falling apart all over the place. We are both Italian, my wife being Sicilian and knows even more than me that the arancini should be able to be eaten in your hand without 'exploding' all over the place like an Eton mess!!So she went back to the shop while I waited in the car to show the owner the mess of rice and breadcrumbs in the box. He started getting defensive and aggressive trying to tell her this is how an arancini should be. I then entered the shop and explained we have eaten them countless other times, in Italy and homemade at home, and they have never been as dreadful as the two we purchased from his shop. He started shouting and saying he has been making them for years etc etc. His wife then gave us our money back and we left, never to return again. His wife is a lovely lady and we both felt sorry for her as not only does she have to live with this jerk, but also she was clearly embarrassed by her husbands aggressive behaviour and by the terrible quality of these pathetic arancini! Please avoid this place at all costs as you will be wasting your money on food not worthy to feed the animals at the zoo!!!! It's always empty and now I know why!!!

A little piece of Italy on Green Lanes in Winchmore Hill with caring and friendly staff who provided us with excellent service and good food, at what we considered was a very reasonable all in price. We had a great breakfast of wonderfully cooked scrambled egg with 2 slices of toast each and very tasty smoked salmon on the side. The portions of scrambled egg were extremely generous and the coffee was good; with all arriving at the table pleasingly and suitably hot. A glass of fruit juice and excellent cappuccino were included in the overall cost of £7.00 each. A full English breakfast was also available and the amazing wide selection pastries looked fantastic. There are sandwich options, a pasta menu and Italian ice cream too. There really were just too many goodies to try in one visit and I believe they also make special occasion cakes to order! Quite a few Italian speakers were already there when we arrived and we thoroughly enjoyed the authentic Italian atmosphere. We left with a cheery goodbye and thank you to the staff in our rudimentary Italian which, judging by the smiles, seemed to be kindly appreciated. We drove away feeling very lucky to have just happened on this true Italian gem, which provided us with such excellent cooking.Next time we are up that way we will definitely return.
