Jolly Butchers in Enfield

I went to see Hot Fondu a fabulous tribute band. They were great 👍🏾 . Laura, the main singer and the band, as well as Angelo, Chris and Mike, kept us buzzing with iconic songs of the past. Although the pub was busy, the had the right amount of staff to maintain a good service.

Still the best pub in Enfield! Chelsea, governor, is a wonderful host. The pub has gone through change and it's slowly coming back after world events. It's still a decent pub, with decent people and decent conversation and laughter. That's all you need and this is what you need if you are not getting the above. So pop in and enlighten your mind. 👍🏻💪🏻💓

Lovely traditional pub, just outside the main shopping/eating/drinking area of Enfield so a fairly quiet area. Lots of live music put on at weekends producing a great atmosphere. Friendly landlady and staff (I think it maybe family run).

We had a great time. Wonderful Pyjamas were fantastic. ❤ Nothing beats a great smile😊. Would be nice smile serving with smile.😊

Great little pub in Enfield, The Jolly Butchers from the McMullens stable offers a good range of beers both from cask and keg. Lovely, friendly service with a smile and a jolly place to visit.

Great Christmas eve pub, good crowd, super band played all night The Buzzheads, 60s to 90s with a few festive songs thrown in. 🍻👍

Pop in for a pint now and then. Nice pub with a friendly atmosphere. A special mention goes to Dave the barman, he is always on top of his game and an all-around great guy!

Bit on the expensive side as used to a local free house usually, but friendly staff and a pleasant feel about the place.

Excellent pub. Spacious, comfortable with beautiful decor and nice range of beers. Excellent customer service, you feel really welcome. Spotless toilets and interior. Fantastic! Plus good deal: happy hour from Monday to Friday and quiz night. TV available for sports enthusiasts. Outside area for smokers.

Been to this pub a few times on a Friday evening while the little one is at Guides. All the staff I've spoken to have been really nice and down to earth. There is normally a good amount of people here but there is plenty of tables and an outdoor smoking area. Good selection of beers, wines and spirits at typical prices for the area. There is often something happening on the weekend evenings, be it a band, quiz etc. The only thing that I'd like to see is the pub pulled into 2023. It is slightly warn and in need of a refurb.

Another great night in The Jollies despite the result. Great music from the Vinyliers after the game. Still can't believe the brewery have decided to rip the heart out of the place and move Alison (the wonderful landlady) on. We will just have to make the most of the last 6 weeks before it becomes just another Enfield pub.

Very friendly pub, you're made to feel welcome on arrival. They have live music most weekends on either a Friday or Saturday night and vinyls every Sunday. Since originally writing this review, I've now found out there is a general quiz night (followed by play your cards right) every other Thursday and a music quiz first Tuesday of the month. The atmosphere is great in there and you can't fault the staff. Would highly recommend a visit . In the warmer weather there's a great seating area at the back as well!

A genuinely lovely pub serving good food with loads of entertainment events every week. Super friendly bar staff and thoughtfully presented 'Shabby Chic' interior with a small but colourful beer garden. Recommended 👍

I’ve been a regular now for a while. I recently went there and had some food from their new menu. I was so impressed with the meal, it was real value for money, plus the staff are always polite and professional. This is a great example of a pub run really well! So glad to have this place on my doorstep. If you’d like a trip out to a fantastic British pub, where you feel welcome and have a choice of great food and drink, then this is by far the best place in Enfield. Can’t recommend this pub highly enough! Thanks to all the Jolly Butchers team

As it should be... The secret garden. It’s like walking in to a magical space, tables in funky colours and it catches the last of the evening sunshine… couple that with a cold beer of your choice, no better place to be on a summers evening.

Enjoyed our quick pint in here . Had a proper pub vibe.

The Jolly Butchers is a great pub - friendly regulars and friendly staff and landlady. We booked a table and ordered food which all came up quickly. Standard pub type menu, but absolutely cannot fault the quality of the food and speed of service (I had lasagne with a side of cheesy chips.... delicious, hot, and loads of it.... what's not to like!). Pub garden to the rear is comfortable with loads of seating....always someone out there to have a chat to! Sport on the telly, but not so loud as to be intrusive, but good atmosphere all round. Live music events from time to time as well, so give the Butcher's a visit and support our local businesses! Update 22nd May 2022: Great live band event in the pub last night.....Soul Chain.....got everyone up and dancing! Well worth checking out the gig list at the Butchers as there is music most weekends - great atmosphere and perfect way to enjoy live music and support a local pub!

Not bad @ All it had a Rock and Roll night on people were hagt I only popped In 2 pick some mates up so only had a pint but it was a good pint of Guiness

Friendly local . Some weekends there is live music. Usually Sunday night is Vinyl Night.

Only started coming a few months ago. I’ve enjoyed my time each visit. The music selection is nice and not too loud so you can have a conversation. The food is great and portions are good. Try the wings. The staff are all very friendly and have great customer service. An added benefit is that you can play darts here too.

As having just moved to the area we tried this local for a late lunch today. Food and atmosphere were top notch and I am sure we will visit quite often.

Went to eat there and unfortunately I have to say that it was disappointing. They said they serve "sirloin" but I don't think it was that, most likely was the cheapest part of it. Gravy tasteless,both vegetarian and beef, cabbage with some Indian spices and vinegar, why do you need to put this flavour in a typical English food? Doesn't match at all with the gravy, but I guess chef don't taste they're own Sunday roast cause they are Indian or something like that. I'm sorry to say this but it wasn't a good experience.

Food was awful, my burger bun was microwaved! Burger patty was also microwaved and cardboard. No salad/ onions. Order was sent out wrong. Just not impressed at all. Especially as it was very quiet in the pub at the time.

A good local pub like they used to be

Cozy place, no parking available on site due to the car park being turned in to a garden pub area but I guess that will be tenporary untul Covid passes.

I was there on a Monday afternoon before (soft drinks) and after (McMullen Country bitter) a job interview. Nice roomy pub with friendly staff, but fairly quiet (a Monday afternoon, after all). Pub grub was reasonable. It's likely to be a different experience on a weekend night with live music, but I live too far away to wish to find out.

Good customer service and polite bar staff went there to watch Kevin and his band. Great atmosphere and good night out.

Thought my beer at the last place was fine, 100 times better here.

Late Friday evening, very busy - difficult to get served (but they apologied for the wait) however locals/ regulars getting served despite waiting longer and yes whilst I might agree you have to look after your ' bread and butter' how will you increase clientele if not made to feel welcome.

We called in to the Jolly Butchers on the way to a wedding at Forty Hall to watch the early Premiership game on a Saturday recently It was a good choice as we had grandstand seats in front of a great screen We had a couple of drinks and shared a good beacon and chicken baguette and chips. Without asking the food wa served ooon two plates,, very thoughtfull. The taxi ordered after thegame got us to the wedding on time and the team We went to see won the gamer - all in all excellent service - thanks!
