La Glacier in Blackburn with Darwen

I was extremely disappointed when the food arrived after 1hour of waiting. Ordered two molten chocolate brownies expecting them to be warm gooey and covered in hot chocolate. Haha no, that’s not what was delivered. We got two freezer stored cold cakes with chocolate on top in a plastic case. Also ordered thunder and lightning ice cream, but instead was delivered death by chocolate, so I rang up to explain they had delivered the wrong flavour to be told they had no thunder and lightning in stock so they just switched it without consulting me first. When I said that I don’t want to chocolate one I could hear them in the background trying to tell me that it’s the same thing when it obviously isn’t! While on the phone I asked if the molten brownies are meant to be cold to be made aware that they are stored in a freezer and sent out cold. As a desert place I expected freshly made food especially for the price!! Also after debating with the guy on the phone that the ice creams are not the same he offered to refund me via bank transfer in which the refund is still not appearing to have been made! Would not recommend. Disappointed! Also why does delivery take 1 hour when it’s literally just frozen crap put in a bag and placed at your front door

Ordered deserts from here through Uber app. waited 50 minutes for order to be delivered. When it arrived got someone’s else’s order. Rang store the first idiot answered the phone was from Pakistan I think. Telling him what my postcode was. Said d for delta he didn’t understand had to say dog. He said he would have my order ready in 40 mins. This is after waiting 40 mins already. In total 1:20. Five minutes later I got another call saying I had to get in touch with Uber. It was ubers fault. 🤔. Uber made my deserts? Dont think so. Why should I have to ring Uber for getting wrong thing being delivered. I asked to speak to manager and the young boy said manager was busy. It shows how serious they take customer complaints. Don’t want to speak to you. He has promised to deliver the right item. But I don’t think it’s coming. I will be suggesting to Uber eats to remove la glacier from there list. It doesn’t look good on them when take aways restaurants or even DESERT SHOPS getting thing wrong for THEIR customers. Finally would say please ring them first before you place any orders thru Uber just in case they have too many orders they can handle. As it was the reason given for getting my order wrong. “We had 50 orders”. Just like to say to glacier “it’s not my problem how many orders you have, just get mine right and get it delivered A.S.A.P.

Double cola millions milkshake is my favourite. Need to have a double dosage of millions inside to get a real taste of the flavour. Probably the best Desserts place in Blackburn and the service from manager Ismaeel is very good, always friendly and helpful. He will make sure you enjoy you’re desserts.

I ordered milkshakes for delivery, was told they would deliver in 20 minutes. After 40 minutes I called them to ask about the milkshakes and they said they would be another 45 minutes. I was very disappointed with their service. When we asked the staff that came to the door for some discount since we had been waiting over an hour, he said to either pay full or return the milkshakes. Very bad service and staff were very unhelpful. They were also very rude on the phone.

I absolutely luv this place! My must visit once a week dessert place. Lovely desserts & hot drinks. The service is great and the place is very clean.

I recently walked into la glaciers as I had place a telephone order 20 minutes prior, my order wasn’t even ready as they said thAt it would only take 10 minutes, the staff were trying to find my order, when I received the order, I went satisfied as the ice cream shake had lumps in the tub, meaning it wasn’t mixed proper

Amazing desserts, when i feel hungry i feel like a ferrero rocher milkshake. I hope you visit it next.

Food was gorgeous, the place is clean and very discreet with very good family and separate quarters. Accessible on Main Road and parking is just off the traffic lights.

I come here pretty often whenever I'm at my parents house and the desserts always look and taste great.The prices you pay are definitely a lot cheaper than going to a city and ordering desserts as you can buy milkshakes from here for as little as £2 and they taste superb.The service is only good if the place is empty as the staff there do sometimes seem to get a little overwhelmed by large amounts of people though this doesn't make it a bad place to go to.

Best milkshakes in Blackburn at reasonable prices ... i would recommend the Snickers and Ferrero one, not tried the other desserts

The restaurant is beautiful and clean.. However, I have been a few times and they don't seem to have a selection of cakes or whatever I seemed to order was unavailable.. pity

Nice milkshakes. Menu is not the clearest and the service isn't the most welcoming. Worth a try as lots of choice of flavours.

Milkshake was amazing, could have had slightly less cream but definitely recommend, best I've tasted in Blackburn! New eat-in area is cosy and staff are friendly

Sorry guys but certainly not the best infact your falooda was watery & hardly any taste to it. Felt let down even though you come highly recommended.

I have never experienced such rude and worst customer service than i have here, both the managers have a stinking attitude and don't know how to talk to their customers. They just need to remember it is customers that make the place what it is and if they don't know how to deal with different situations they're in the wrong profession. Never visiting this place ever again it reeks with arrogance, lack of manners and respect for their paying customers and not to forget their food aint all that either!

We both ordered sticky toffee pudding with custard. Very disappointed, pudding was not served hot and the cake was frozen in the middle!! Wouldn't return again.

Desserts are on point here. Love them! There's ice creams and milk shakes + other varieties like hot custard etc. They do waffles and hot drinks too although I think they should do more hot snacks than hot, spicy pasta which is just as delicious as the desserts on offer. 1 thing I would say is to keep space at the back for prams to make it more mother friendly. Apart from that, staff are friendly and the prices are reasonable

A very popular and busy place to go for desserts. Some really nice seating areas at the back. A great place to relax and enjoy some nice desserts. Gets really busy but that's a good thing shows its something people like and would que for.

Dessert range and selection is brilliant and luxurious. The tea is is good however it is served in a single cup rather than in a teapot. My second visit this week would definitely recommend this place if you need a catch up with friends as the seating and atmosphere is good.

I had high expectations of this place, but Went with a few mates and had 2 waffles and a cake Waffles were cold and hard. The Cake was not warm either. Expected better,

Ive been to La Glacier a lot of times now, few times with family and a few times with friends.. Every time has been really good. The service was excellent and the desserts were delicious. I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a fresh dessert to end off their meal with

Nice desserts with a wide range of desserts. Though when we went to order we had to que and felt rushed when there was so much to choose from. It would be better if u could sit down and they take your order. When my dessert came it was in waffer basket with ice cream... I had to ask for a plate as the waffer ended up soggy and the ice cream leaking.

Lots of desserts with lots of choice pizza etc can only be offered after 4PM. Took some time to come but nice food. More of a dessert place than food place. Lots of choice for milkshakes, cakes, puddings and hot beverages. Good for a long catchup with friends. Atmosphere is good. Love the decor. Clean and free fly staff

A group of 15, usually causes problems for restaurants and desert places but was handled brilliantly... The service was brilliant, the deserts were scrumptious, the decor was colourful yet not over done... Best desert place in Blackburn without doubt... Needs more hype to be honest... Loved it

Went last night for desserts with family. Service was shocking. We were told to leave immediately as they were closing a few mins after our food arrived. Ended up leaving most of it. Also quality of food has seriously gone downhill as cake was stale. Would not recommend.

Great decor inside and a wide range of desserts/snacks available. Milkshakes and waffles are awesome. One of the best dessert bars in Blackburn (granted there aren't many good ones anyway!).

Wide variety of desserts available from cakes, ice creams, milkshakes, old school puddings, Asian desserts etc. My personal favourite is the sarsprella milkshake. Also, the decor in the place is something different and very elegant.
