Enjoyed a lovely brunch here. Although not many tables and you may need to wait and/or share a table it’s definitely worth it. Great selection for brunch and delicious coffee.

Can't understand how the only other review is one star. Claims of food poisoning are dubious and unrealistic considering the establishment's high hygiene standards. I've been going on a regular basis for over three years now. Here's what's what: - Friendly staff. - Efficient service. - Nice authentic atmosphere. - Good quality coffee, ice creams, smoothies and food. - Better prices than in the edgier coffee shops. - Good wifi. - Decent amount of plugs to charge devices. - Nice terrace view. - Good free coffee reward card for frequent customers. - Great for work in the summer

Went there on Boxing Day. All the prices were up ( because it was Boxing Day...) , I chose a mozarella focaccia panini. It was good, however a few hours late, I have had cramps , and being going to the toilets constantly. The cramps even woke me up during the night and I had to go quick to the toilets. Food poisoning!!! Be careful when you go there after a weekend or bank holidays!

Visited this lovely cafe on Tuesday. Lovely homemade food great minestrone and fabulous focaccia sandwiches. Our 2 year old had a child's portion of pasta which was big and very tasty. She finished it all!! Cake and coffee excellent. Really enjoyed this gem!!

Found this little gem for lunch this week. Serves excellent Italian food for sit in or takeaway. I ate in and the food and service was excellent. The cafe was exceptionally clean and well laid out.

Lovely unexpected place in Brighton: not a chain and not pretentious! Proper home made options - hot food (our choice Spag Bol / Moussaka / Quiche and salad) or sandwiches and cakes. Not overly priced, good quality and tasty.

I've always liked this place and although ownership has changed over the years they have maintained excellent coffee and food. Great place for people watching.

We arrived early in Brighton and found this lovely little cafe just down the hill from the railway station. Breakfast for three of us with drinks was served up very quickly and was most enjoyable. We even tried some cakes (although it was really too early for these) and they were delicious if very, very sweet. The staff were very helpful and the whole place seemed clean and bright. Italian biscuits, pasta etc were also on sale.

Don't walk past, though the exterior lets this little gem down. The food is fresh and homemade, whilst the interior is light and modern. I needed cake and their banana cake had just come straight out the oven! Served with ice cream, it hit the spot! The coffee is also very good. Authentic Italian, I will be back and would happily recommend!

Been here a few times.staff not always helpful.ask for de caf and I'm not confidant the staff hear me! Went to the toilet-no hand towels!when I asked for one with dripping hands I was offered a grubby looking tea towel!the one they were drying the dishes with!I declined and picked up a paper napkin from the counter!I suggested that the paper towel dispenser should be refilledThe waitresses looked at me as if I was asking for a pot of gold!

We came out of Brighton Train Station and started to look for somewhere to grab some lunch, La Gigo Gi (on Queens Road a stones throw away - there is at least one other elsewhere in the city) caught our attention and we had a look at the menu and we were straight inside. I opted for the pasta of the day - which was yummy and my other half had a filled bread of cured meats which was toasted for him - so tasty he assured me. I decided to have a slice of the Tirimisu Cake and my other half had some gelato both of which we thoroughly enjoyed. Would recommend this to anyone.

Had a lovely breakfast here. Delicious coffee. Fresh orange juice. Scrambled eggs on delicious bread. My hubbie also had ham. Shame they don't have other ways of cooking eggs as would have had our second breakfast here on weekend stay in Brighton. Will go back and can strongly recommend this lovely little cafe.

Arrived at 12.55 on a Sunday. Restaurant was busy but expected that on a Sunday before Christmas. Had to queue for ages to order our food and drinks. Drinks were bought to us reasonably quickly but our food took far too long to arrive. Noticed other diners were chasing their food 😞. Tables were left with dirty plates on for ages, not nice to look at whilst waiting. Food was nice. Why don't they have an order via an app service? Staff were apologetic but not enough of them!

Christmas Feast at Pizza Express, Brighton Marina I visited Pizza Express at Brighton Marina this evening and was delighted by the warm, welcoming atmosphere. I arrived a bit earlier than expected, but the staff were incredibly accommodating and happy to seat me right away—such a lovely touch to start the evening. I decided to try their Christmas festive menu, offering two courses for £19.95. For starters i opted for the Dough Balls in Blankets, which were wonderfully fluffy and perfectly crispy, served with a rich, honey and mustard dip. A comforting, indulgent start to my meal! For the main, i went with the Mushroom & Truffle Romana Pizza. The pizza had a beautiful, crispy thin crust and was topped with a rich mushroom and truffle combination that was simply delicious—savory, creamy, and full of flavor. It was hard not to devour it in record time! To drink, i had the Pomegranate Mimosa, which was the perfect refreshing touch to the meal. The slightly tangy, fruity flavor balanced beautifully with the richness of the pizza. I was so hungry that i forgot to take pictures of the food (it really was that good!), but rest assured, it was an absolutely satisfying and festive dining experience. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a warm and festive atmosphere by the marina, with excellent service and delicious food.

Food was really top drawer, however it was a bit overpriced IMHO

I would recommend that the staff are advised what dishes are not available so that customers do not choose what they want to eat and then are rushed to find alternatives. This happened today with the Christmas menu ,main courses and deserts, also my brucetta was impossible to cut, would not recommend Zizzi.
