La Dolce Vita in South Lanarkshire

Have now visited a few times and would definitely recommend it. Great food, great value for money and friendly staff.

Just picked up my order around 3 and am delighted with the wonderful food. Best pizza in town, everything is so amazingly delicious. Highly recommend. My sincere complements. To the chefs. Pearl

1st time we'd used this establishment for a take away pizza. Ready for collection there or there abouts in the time slot given.When we got it home it was overcooked and burnt round the edges. As we didn't ask for a well fired Pizza the kids were disappointed with their treat. Although you shouldn't have to, check inside the box before leaving the restaurant to ensure your take away hasn't been over done....

The food was absolutely outstanding. Me and my partner had an amazing meal at La Dolce Vita. Staff couldnt do enough for us. Lovely welcoming and very friendly. A lovely environment. Nice lighting. Warm and welcoming. I would highly recommend coming here. I will be definitely be back.

I visited this restaurant last weekend with a group of friends and I could not recommend this restaurant enough ! Food was amazing taste , price & portion size. Pasta was delightful. The staff could not have been any more friendly or helpful & smiling throughout their full service. There was a great warm atmosphere , very clean and tidy, definitely be back more regularly. Best Italian I have tasted and great value for money !

Took advantage of the fact both myself and the significant other had the same day off and went for lunch at la dolce vita's new sit in restaurant in the village. The staff were lovely and the food was exceptionally good. They have a good selection on the lunch time menu and you can pick from one two or three courses. But a word of warning they are fairly decent portions so three portions could be a big ask.Had an excellent bowl of mussels in a white wine and cream sauce with garlic bread which was superb. Then pollo Milanese with the wife having rice balls and spaghetti carbonara and both of us left feeling full and satisfied and it was less than £25. Result.

If I could give no stars I would!!..3 of us went here for breakfast this morning,where do I start,sat for 10 minutes before we were even approached with a menu,another 10 to take order,the staff looked like they couldn't care less,chef and waitress arguing with each other!!ordered 2 breakfast's and a French toast with maple syrup and bacon...after40 minutes of waiting food arrived,2 breakfast's ok but not very warm.. and not of any quality,French toast...no maple syrup to start with...then tasted french toast no sorry soggy fried bread without the egg arrived, cooking oil dripping from it,asked the young boy to take it back,10 minutes later another plate of the same arrives and believe me I'm not a fussy eater, again said that this was the same and would like to speak to someone as I wasn't prepared to pay for it,the girl behind the tills asked the cook to speak to us to which she was told no in front of us standing there shouted over to us that no he didn't have time to listen to us n a shrug of the shoulders...end result was I didn't pay for the greasy fried bread(french toast)..I would avoid this place at all costs,not worth the money,food ineadable and customer service is a total joke...never again.

Few times had bad experiences with deliveries from here now. Last two times I’ve waited 2hours for food this time food never came at all and tried to phone shop phone just ringing out ruined my Sunday night dolce vita thanks

Had a delicious meal last night however this was overshadowed by the appealing lack of customer service,had to get up at one point and find a member of staff to ask for the drinks we had ordered.and to top it of the way the manager heather spike so badly to a staff member in front of customers.that is no way to behave or run a business.its a shame as the food is nice but as for the staff I'll not be returning....sort out you manager and I might return....

2 HOURS FOR DELIVERY This is the first time I have selected delivery from la dolce vita. Unfortunately it was a very poor experience. The original delivery time was 30 minutes then they delayed the time by another 30 minutes to prepare the meal. An hour had a half had went buy and no food had arrived. I decided to phone the shop and see what was going on. When I got through I was told the order still hadn't left the building and all they could offer was a portion of mozzarella dippers for the inconvenience. This was really disappointing as their is never a problem with the food but the pizza place really needs to sort out their delivers. Then to make things worse when the pizzas arrived they had forgotten the mozzarella dippers. I would suggest to all customers to collect your meal to avoid this experience from happening to anyone else.

I had the Pollo Milanese with bolognese, my fiancée had the Arrabbiata. Ingredients were fresh and tasty, genuinely one of the best takeaways we have had in East Kilbride! Will be returning again!

Pollo and pepperoni pIzzas were amazing and six item breakfast delivery delicious. Can’t wait to try the pasta.

The closest to real Italian pizza I have had! Neapolitan style pizza at its best, never let us down, superb every time!

Food is ok, pricing is a bit spotty, think staff make it up depending on how they feel, and I shall not be ordering from here again as their average delivery time is over 3 hours, which is really ridiculous considering that we live less than a 2 minute drive from Dolce Vita. You can get a flight to Rome in the time it takes for them to deliver you your food. And by the way, I wrote this off as an off - day the first time it happened but it’s now happened every single time I have ordered. When I’ve called, I’ve been met with a temper tantrum justifying why there’s such a long delay rather than apologising and accepting they messed up. The same with my friend too. She lives in Westwood and ordered breakfast but it didn’t arrive until ages after, about 3 hours too. Honestly, STAY AWAY. Don’t bother giving them your business as they really don’t deserve your cash and they take their customers completely for granted. The guy who owns it needs to brush up on basic etiquette and be receptive to criticism regarding delivery time rather than going in a huff as, believe it or not, Dolce Vita, you CAN, like everyone, get things wrong, and 3 hours for a delivery is actually a joke.

La Dolce Vita, an Italian restaurant/takeaway that does everything from breakfast to a late night pizza or pasta.

Authentic and delicious Italian food. I had the mushroom risotto which was exceptional. My husband had a pizza which he said was the best he's had outside Italy. Huge portions too. Worth a visit when you're looking for your next take away

Ordered here a few times for a takeaway and has never disappointed.

The thought of take out pasta or risotto seemed strange to me but after trying a couple of pasta dishes, I'm converted.
