La Bocca Pizza Kitchen in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

Was trying to find a place to eat while on our mini break and walked past here and thought we would give it a go. One of the best pizzas we have had, lady working was super friendly and served us quickly. Also loved the interior decor. Thank you for a great spontaneous dinner.

Visited last night whilst on a mini break in Bude, best pizza I’ve had in ages! Only suggestion I have is you should have steak knives as it was hard to cut and my finger started hurting lol

We had take away delivered to our holiday cottage, it was amazing and made two tired parents very happy to enjoy good food while our son slept

Amazing pizza! Super friendly service from the phone call to delivery. On time, fresh, hot pizza and delicious homemade dough! We will definitely be back 😀

We had a takeaway for 8. The pizzas and fish and chips were excellent. Wide choice on the menu and the order was made quickly despite being very busy.

The pizza is good and if you stick to margherita it’s exceptionally good value for money. £10 for more than one should probably have in a single meal. Friendly staff. They also do take away. Only negative is that they one have one type of cider and it’s not local (to Bude or Italy).

Thought we would give this place a try as it looks like a nice place. Very disappointing pizza, poor dough, poor quality toppings, overpriced for what it is. I certainly wouldn’t return!

Antipasti and pizzas were superb. I had the Napoli pizza and my wife created her own custom pizza. The staff were efficient and friendly. We will be going back.

This was 1 of the best pizzas I have ever had, and I have eaten alot of pizza in my life! I had the CAMPAGNOLA pizza on the Charcoal base (from LA BOCCA NERA pizza) which the staff kindly accommodated (and also swapped 1 of the ingredients). It was incredible with generous toppings, the pesto sauce was so yum. So often I go out for a pizza and they forget toppings or get it wrong if you swap something, but this was spot on! Also my partner had a Vegan pizza and she said it was 1 of the best if not best Vegan pizza she has ever had. If we ever come back to bude we will defo come here again. We also had the Veggie Bites for starter and 1 portion was very generious and enough to share.

Not all pizza restaurants are the same! At least not in my opinion. This little restaurant has a ‘vibe’ - a word I don’t use easily at my age. It is small, stylish and youthful. The menu is strictly pizza for the mains but with interesting choices of toppings and with excellent starters. (We didn’t explore the desserts so can’t comment on them). I was impressed that when we asked for the olives with our drinks and before the starters they readily obliged. Somehow this appears to be quite difficult to achieve elsewhere in our experience. The lightly battered veggie starter was also superb, generously sized and perfect for sharing. Both our pizzas were delicious and when asked a take-home box was cheerfully provided. Inexpensive and good value. All in all a great find - recommended.

We have always eaten here whenever we stay in Bude. You can’t book a table it is strictly first come basis, particularly in the high season. The choice of Pizza is fantastic, we are creatures of habit and it has never let us down. The Tiramisu is homemade and divine. A decent choice of beverages. Staff are welcoming. See you soon!

We turned up after a day out in Bude to find it heaving, but we were told we could go to the Carrier Inn next door and order there and they'd bring it over. We were a bit dubious at first, but glad we did as we and many other families did the same. We ordered the Nero, Etna and Contadina with a starter of veggie bites and oh my word, how delicious. The pizza's were huge, so flavoursome with lots of delicious fresh toppings, we will definitely ordering again before we go back, but hope to get a table in La Bocca itself for the full experience. Yum!

Pleasant staff Very cold -all customers had coats on Good food -but salads were doused in dressing Haloumi ordered -but came deep fried We didn’t order a pizza because all other guests returned plates full of leftover pizza crust . This must say something -why don’t you try a thin pizza and thin crust -which has plenty of filling Again great service and staff -

Ordered through just eat, was an instant 2 hour delay in food (we’ve eaten here before and the food is good so there’s no complaint there) after 1.30 hours waiting for delivery the order was suddenly cancelled, I’m not an angry or an impatient person but this kind of tested those feelings. If you have no driver don’t put available for delivery. Bad business really. Won’t be ordering from here ever again, and I hope people do the same and make way for a trustworthy and reliable business. Shame…

Fantastic no-nonsense pizza in a lovely little hideout close to summerleaze beach. The takeaway queue outside was massive so that tells you everything you need to know. Good selection of toppings/pizzas and Cantonese. My only gripe was no draught beer on offer, only bottles, but if you want chilled out pizza experience (cool music was being played by the way) at reasonable prices then just go here if you can get in!

Stayed in Bude for the weekend and ate La Bozza Pizza twice! The staff were very nice and the food was incredible. Would definitely recommend for a nice meal out. They were also very accomodating to requests, my friend doesn't like cheese and it was no issue. They offered non dairy cheese as well which was nice!

amazing service and even better food. came for our 2 year anniversary and we will 100% returning! staff are absolutely amazing and super friendly, the 2 waiters (one with head scarf and other black hair) that looked after us was 10/10. he gave us two glasses of Prosecco for our celebrations. Food is amazing, we both order steak and we weren’t disappointed at all. The calamari wasn’t the best. But still not disappointed at all with the food. Steak melted in your mouth. 100% recommend!

We had takeaway pizzas to eat on the beach and they were absolutely divine! The waiting time was quite long (30+ mins) but the pizza was worth it and we could take our drinks to sit by the river. We tried to phone ahead to order but there was no answer after 4 rings! Great pizza and great atmosphere in the restaurant!

Good customer service, I ordered the calzone piccante, dough was nice but not enough sauce. The toppings were not well distributed throughout and some areas were concentrated with a certain topping while others were just cheese without any sauce. Eh

Had a really lovely meal here whilst we were staying in Bude. The staff were attentive and our two pizzas and fries were absolutely delicious! I recommend their speciality pizza which has black dough and was really nice. Only reason we haven’t given 5 stars is because the service was a little bit slow but by the looks of things there was constant takeaway orders so I imagine the chefs had to prioritise those. 😊 would definitely come again if we visit Bude.

The toppings were generous and 3 pizzas were too much for the 4 of us. The base was like eating fresh bread and i wanted more. We had a margherita, diavola and girasole. All were delicious. The fries were crispy and sea salty and soooo moorish. The staff were smiley and friendly. We saw a recent bad review which seemed out of place against the sea of good reviews.... and we wonder now if they had pizza at the same establishment.... its a 100% recommendation from us

Not good. Was in Bude last year and we had lots of Pizza from here so was delighted to be holiday agin and returned for more. The Pizza was terrible this year , we only had one and could not even cut it and the toppings were sparse. It’s was so bad I don’t even think I will try next year. Did find alternative in The Crust, pizza was much better with lots of lovely Gorgonzola cheese on it so.

Often order from here for our pizza fix takeaway. Food is always lovely and stays nice and warm until we get home! Will look to do a visit. To the restaurant one day soon as well
