What a fabulous lunch 3 of us enjoyed today. 24th November. The restaurant was warm and comfortable, the young lady who waited on us was very professional, calm and friendly and didn’t hurry us in any way. The menu choice was excellent, ( we chose from the lunch specials) prices fine , food quality very good. It was very tasty, hot and presented beautifully. Portion sizes were more than adequate. Also the house red was gorgeous.

Went here for a late anniversary meal, the food was amazing and the atmosphere was great, this was our 2nd visit and we were not disappointed, I had the Steak which was worthy of any steakhouse in the city and my wife had the seafood risotto which in her words was “ The best she’d had anywhere” can’t rate this place highly enough, the service was great and they were very attentive *****

We decided to try this restaurant for lunch and so glad we did. We had the lunchtime special menu and choose lasagne and mushroom risotto, followed by tiramisu. Portion sizes for our mains were adequate and both dishes were delicious. The tiramisu was very light and creamy. Service was discrete and efficient. Draught beers and lagers would be a bonus for the future? Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and we're sure to return.

Italian restaurants are often disappointing with a long menu of favourites prepared to british palates. Grano offers a short menu of stunning authentic Italian food. The bruschetta was a conversation stopper as it demanded a silence to savour the flavours. Rigatoni was freshly made and cooked perfectly al dente with fiery cacio e pepe sauce elevated further with crispy fried guanciale. Tiramisu and frozen limoncello to finish left us sated and delighted to have found such a gem.

203 Wellington Hill WestMyself and my girlfriend made a spur of the moment first time visit this past Saturday night to this wonderful family run authentic Italian restaurant which has been on my list of places to try for far too long. It was a revelation from the minute we walked in the door due to the wonderful welcome and fantastic service and that's before we had even sampled the truly stunning food which was an incredibly appetising and colourful selection full of flavour and all freshly prepared including the starters which my girlfriend absolutely adored. This was absolutely top notch quality food including pizza that is absolutely incredible and all at very good value prices to match or in most cases better any other decent Italian restaurant I've ever visited. We cannot recommend that you visit this amazing restaurant strongly enough and we thank the staff there for the most wonderful meal and welcome we were given which absolutely made our evening and we look forward to returning as soon as we can.

The food is tasty and excellent value, whether you take away or eat inside the small unit/the couple of tables just outside. The pair of us left feeling pleasantly full and with change from £20 despite having a couple of 'starters', main meals and a can of diet coke each.
