The katsu curry sauce didn't taste like it was supposed to. It was more like a weird tomato sauce than a curry. The sushi was haphazardly put into the boxes so they came into contact with the wasabi which ruined some of the pieces for me. Those little separators might've been useful. The bottom of the bag was also soaked in soy sauce upon arrival, along with some of the food boxes. Overall the food was decent but it could've been much better.

Every 15 minutes past the time they were due to deliver, I called the restaurant - they would say "Yeah, he's coming - 5 minute" and I would try to ask something further but the phone was slammed down without a goodbye or anything. By the time our order got to us, 40 minutes late, the hot part of the order was cold.

Worst experience ever. My friend called 2 times to understand where our order was as they did not update the online order system. He was then hung up on and was very rude. His only comment was that it was on route with no expectation of time. Then I recieved a notification it had arrived when it had not. It was then 25 minutes late. On arrival both bags were ripped with sauces open and dripping out. Then the driver demanded £15 for delivery even though it says on the receipt the delivery fee. The food was poor, the rice had some weird seasoning with dishes missing. Never ordering here again!

Pedí sushi aquí, y honestamente puedo decir que esta fue posiblemente la peor comida que he comido. Todo, desde el sabor, hasta la textura, el olor e incluso la apariencia de la comida, era vil, repugnante e incomible. Lo intenté, pero después de haber comido alrededor de un cuarto (tal vez menos) de los platos, no pude comer más. Mi madre probó un poco de mi sushi y ella, literalmente, lo escupió. Si le gusta la buena comida, evite a toda costa, vaya a Itsu, Yo! u otro lugar decente de sushi. Sad meal as I was looking forward to a special treat as sushi is not cheap....very poor show. Will NEVER give this place my hard earned money again.

Miso Soup was a bit salty, tofu was a bit too tough. Prawn tempura had no taste whatsoever. Chicken catsu: sadly the breaded chicken wasn't crispy at all and the sauce tasted like Heinz tomato soup. Quite disappointed as not only were these Items over £20 with delivery but I got my hopes up with the quality and reviews.

Horrible food, I vomited as soon as I finished eating my katsu chicken curry. My daughters prawns needles soup is so salty and only with 3 prawns. The sauce was all over the bag and had to discar half but as so salty I wouldn’t be able to use it anyway.

This is the second time that my delivery arrived missing items and had to call the restaurant multiple times to get the rest delivered. When I initially called them, the guy I spoke to made no sense and hung up the phone on me... more than once. Same thing happened last time. It’s a shame as the food is decent, but customer service is atrocious. I’ve been ordering from this place for 3 years, but after my last couple of experiences I must conclude that this is not a one off, this is their standard now and I with so many other choices around, I doubt I’ll order from them again.

The wrong beer sent and just offered two beers the next time I order with them. I wont be ordering again but still didn't offer a refund or try to help me properly. The Bento box was absolutely awful. Take away the huge leaf salad and slices of apple (?!) and all I had was a small, thin and dry piece of Teriyaki Salmon with no sauce, 2 gyoza and some rice. The miso soup was insanely salty and strangely sweet. I'm an avid Japanese food lover and cook it a lot at home too so I know this is not what it should be. If you want to have a full belly and have authentic Japanese food, don't order from here.

Unfortunately the food arrived totally smashed; it seems that the bags fell to the floor. The sauce of the Yakisoba fell into the dragon roll and both containers were upside down in the bag. The food could not be eaten, it was disgusting. We phoned the restaurant to complain, but they hung up and would not pick up the phone. Not recommend the experience to anyone!

Ordered Bento Box with Tempura. The only prawn on the dish was not fried in tempura flour; it was coated in breaded flour - very disppointing. The vegetables were good, they were coated with tempura flour. Tempura sauce not not authentic and too salty. Also ordered Sashimi-Mix - not the money worth. Tiger prawns instead of sweet prawns. Other fish assortment was ok but VERY thinly cut. Overall, not worth the money - my total spend was almost £40!!!! for the above.

Hands down the worst takeaway I have ever had, the the sushi was chewy and the rice dry. The noodles were swimming in what seemed like a greasy gravy, I had one bite and threw them in the bin. The chicken gyozas were probably the best of the meal, but were still cold in the middle. That's how bad my meal was overall. I paid a lot of money and the entire meal was a complete waste.

I have ordered from Kyo Sushi relatively frequently over her past six months. Generally, although quality varies order to order, I have been happy with the food. Sometimes the food is outstanding; sometimes it is fine. The food this evening (my first order in a number of weeks) was awful. The hamachi sashimi (at £6.30) was the worst sashimi I have ever had. The salmon was also very disappointing- thin (and ripping apart) and lacking flavour. I will order once more but unless the quality is much improved I will no longer order from Kyo going forward.

One of the worse Japanese-look-a-like ever! - Udon noodles extremely over cooked, with too much onion chunks and carrot stripes, not much of good taste. - Mediocre uramaki. - Sashimi slices mixed with lemon slices, damaging completely the taste of mackerel fish. - Seaweed salad dressing was a creamy peanut-thing that would simply cover the delicate taste of seaweed. For some reason the simple sesame dressing has done perfectly for a long time. Why change it? - Takoyaki (octopus meatballs) covered in mayo and chili sauce, overcoming every other taste. - Packaging low quality and annoying to unwrap... much more like a cheap Chinese take-away than anything else. + Decent veggie gyoza though.... but not enough to forget the rest! Money wasted! And not only... we never throw away food... but in this case we did, as it was not all eatable. Total disappointment from the restaurant. Delivery on time by Just-Eat team.

Nuestra primera experiencia aquí fue comer en y fue maravilloso! El servicio no era muy rápido, pero fue muy amable! Nos mantenían actualizadas aproximadamente cada 5 minutos. Desde entonces hemos pedimos sushi en el servicio de entrega de 5 veces. Siempre coherente, siempre dentro del período osciló cotizado. En cuanto a calidad, es normal, pero siempre perfectamente bien. Dragón Roll es un favorito! Sería agradable ver algunos bollos picantes de cangrejo.

I work in the area and I love japanese food, so I feel that this place has a lot of potential which is currently unusued. Sometimes they do not open when it is supposed to be opened, following the published opening times and days, so it has happened that I went there to find it closed. The service is also inconsistent: they guy is much better than the girl, but you feel that is because of her poor English; really she shouldn't be facing clients. Waiting times are also random: sometimes it is OK other times it may take forever. Online orders for take away do not work properly. Of the many tables few are normally busy when I have been there. This is down to the inconsitency and randomness of it all, because the food and the value is great!

Ordered for delivery and arrived and hour later, ten minutes outside of the delivery window quoted. Not a disaster, but things quickly went downhill.After checking the items delivered it appeared that we were missing two of the chef's special salmon sashimi, although when I rang to query this, it turned out we did have one portion;3 it just didn't look like sashimi, as it was thin pieces of salmon, covered in a sauce and some spring onion and seaweed "salad". This wasn't really what we expected and we felt it was poor value for £7.50. They did offer to bring us the extra portion, but after seeing the dish, we decided we'd rather have the refund. As they couldn't do this over the phone, they sent someone over with the cash. Mistakes happen, and they at least corrected it. However the sushi itself really didn't impress either.The nigiri we ordered looked promising; nice thick slices of fish which seemed to be good value. Unfortunately, the salmon texture and taste was poor, as was the seabass. The seabream was good though. Overall we felt the quality was comparable to the cheaper takeaways like Wasabi, possibly not even as good.The rest of the meal was similarly mediocre and disappointing. The rice in the maki rolls and in the nigiri didn't seem quite right, and on closer inspection I'm not even sure they were using proper sushi rice; it appeared to have the fragrance of jasmine rice.

This place used to go by the name of Cool Sushi, but it is now under new management and has a new name. Regardless, I can't tell you how much I wanted to like it. Japanese food is my absolute favourite, and, it being a mere ten minutes walk from home, I had my fingers crossed that, finally, Sheen would have a decent Japanese to call its own. WRONG. Oh, the disappointment. Things started off ok. Ok, it's A rather bland room, but the service was very friendly and the menu appeared choc full of things we like. Hijiki and agadashi tofu were fine, prawn tempura not bad, if a teeny bit greasy. Then came the sushi. First off the inaugural portion of Maki was incorrect, but that error (which was quickly taken away to be rectified) soon ceased to be of importance. The Tuna Maki that did then arrive was ok, but the rice was overcooked and soggy. Then came the Nigri, and with it some tuna Nigri that was, hand on heart, the worst sushi I have ever eaten. The "rigor mortis" of tuna was akin to a rigid, dry slab of shoe leather. There was no way that it was sushi-quality - orthotics, maybe, but not sushi. It was the worst quality fish I've ever been served up in a Japanese and it should never have made it out of the kitchen. Unfortunately, I ate a piece before realising my mistake. Not wanting to risk going man-o-man with a plateful of potentially equally dodgy raw fish, we cancelled the rest of the meal, paid up and left. Staff, to their credit, were apologetic and offered a small discount - but our evening was cut unpleasantly short and it still cost us nearly £40. Avoid.

Quality has definitely dropped. The rice was missing from the Tori Katsu, and the chicken was rubbery and poor. The sushi also wasn't as good as usual. Also beware the spring rolls - it's not 4 but 2 cut in half... normally we're delighted with this place but the last order will probably be our last.

This sushi was ok - took just over an hour to get the food when the shop had just opened which was ok the driver was very nice and said sorry it was late. The Sushi was not great - given that it was freshly made the ginger was the orange looking one not the nice pink one and the sauce for the aubergine was just too sweet. The hand rolls were ok but I wouldn't order from where again - sushi54 is just so much better. So thought I would give this place ago with the reviews but just wasn't great I was however not sick from it which was a good thing :)

Decided to try a new place - this was a mistake. Delivery was 40 minutes late. Fine, it's a Saturday, sure. When we crack open the containers, we find 3 sad-looking chicken skewers. Taste was bland and rubbery. The yaki udon was also bland, and a bit rubbery. The sushi had very little taste, and I suspect that the fish and prawn may have been frozen. The only redeeming part of the meal was Kirin Ichiban beer. Wholly recommend ordering a case of those. We ended our evening with a 50p packet of Nissin Ramen, microwaved. It tasted better.

First time ordering here and unfortunately after having to throw out half the meal I won't be ordering again. Delivery time was good and the delivery person friendly however these were pretty much the only positives. The chicken yakitori had an extremely watery sauce that leaked into the bag leaving 3 quite sad looking skewers of rubbery chicken that were cold without any sauce. The Spicy Edamame were served differently to every other restaurant i've been to, and not for the better, as they were lacquered in a rather unpleasant chilli sauce. Finally the Katsu Curry described as coming with Katsu sauce, was actually a rather bland arrangement of deep fried dry chicken on rice without any sauce. The only thing we could eat that we had ordered was the sushi, which I would say was fine rather than being above average. This was our first time ordering from Cool Sushi and based on this experience we won't be using them again. Other reviews are positive so perhaps it was the dishes that we ordered but given these are fairly standard dishes, I would expect at least an edible quality. I've given service 3 stars as we did not contact the restaurant regarding the issues with the order as it was quite a late meal.

This place is about as good as youre going to get for South West London, the only thing Id say is that they could be more generous with the Soy sauce. Avoid Udon in Battersea like the plague.

Had a great time at sushi shop on Saturday. Gotta give a nod to the server, who made some spot-on recommendations, turning our meal into a delightful experience. The food, thanks to her killer suggestions, was next-level delicious. I ordered the spicy tuna hako, rock and roll and Each bite was a surprise, and I left with a happy belly and a new appreciation for the spot. Big shoutout to the kitchen team for making my night good.

Bought a large box of sashimi which is usually really good- when I got home to eat it- I opened the box and was hit by the smell of gone off fish. If salmon smells - it’s off - how you could slice it up and box it up for people to eat and not realise is beyond me! Over £20 now in the bin! Please QC your fish better - it’s dangerous to give people gone off raw salmon!

I recently visited Wagamama in Richmond for dinner with a friend, and it was a delightful experience. The food was fantastic, as always, with a great variety of dishes to choose from. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. What truly made the evening exceptional was the outstanding service provided by one of the waiters, Harris. From the moment we sat down, Harris was incredibly attentive, friendly, and professional. We were initially struggling to decide what to order, but Harris stepped in with helpful suggestions and patiently guided us through the menu. His recommendations turned out to be spot on! His warm demeanor and excellent customer service really stood out, making our visit memorable. While all the staff were polite and helpful, Harris went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. If you’re in Richmond and looking for a place with great food and exceptional service, Wagamama is the place to go—and if you’re lucky, you’ll be served by Harris!
