Kuzina Unique Greek Cuisine in Edinburgh, City of

Greek lovers, we visited as a party of 6. Lovely welcome, beautiful decor, nice touches when the chef (Kostas) came over to say hello, wish me happy birthday and explain his philosophy for Kuzina. Nice touch, toasted bread with Cretan salt and olive oil. A big selection of wines, from reasonable up. Small menu, but that’s a good thing as it usually means everything is fresh - it is. Starters were good, grilled, charred artichokes with grated cheese and almond paste especially good. The spanakopita tartlet was on the small side, even for a starter. Excellent service, main giouvetsi was de-constructed, lovely large tasty lamb and gravy, but ordinary rice rather than orzo. Cod was beautifully cooked on a bed of spinach, but the very tasty meatballs could’ve done with rice or pasta, even garlic bread as the portion was small and pricey. A birthday candle in my dessert, nice touch. Lots to enjoy, just a few tweaks to the menu and portions would make this even better. Gia mmas and Exaristo poli!

A wonderful find in the New Town. We came and ordered the set lunch. Each and every dish is a creative and improved twist on a Greek classic. Highly recommended and already planning to return to try the Tasting Menu for Dinner.

This is a brilliant restaurant. We had eaten at a famous name restaurant in London the previous week but Kuzina was way ahead in terms of food and service.

Beautiful kid-friendly restaurant with amazing food and welcoming staff. I took my relatives who were visiting for the week for a special treat at Kuzina. The entire experience didn't disappoint. My two-year-old niece had a great time there as well. The staff and the other guests were very understanding of her wanting to explore the place.

All five in our group - all 'foodies' to some degree - found that Kuzina offers a gastronomic revelation, a satisfying blend of dedicated enthusiasm and culinary skill. The delightful complexity and depth of surprising flavours is achieved by patient and meticulous dedication to the correct methods of preparation. These are unusual and brave qualities in today's restaurant scramble for survival. Bravo! Bravo and remain true to these principles, please, and be sure that we will return.

We had a lovely evening in this cosy restaurant where the owner all staff members give you a sense how proud they are to work in this beautiful restaurant with a very interesting and tasty food with ingredients from Greece. If you like Greek food, you will enjoy Kuzina: all dishes are made with ingredients from this amazing country.

Fantastic restaurant both food and service. The staff really make you feel special and are so helpful. The food is top quality and beautifully presented. Will certainly go back again actually made a booking for November.

What a wonderful little place! A lovely welcoming atmosphere, immediately feeling relaxed upon entering and being shown to ourtable. Great wine list to choose from. Food absolutely delicious and staff friendly, approachable and knowledgeable. Was great to see the chef who came out during our visit to check if we were enjoying our meals, a very rare experience! Oh my stars!! Kuzina was our favorite restaurant during our 2 week visit to Scotland. The food was Greek yet with a creative twist. Service was impeccable and both the owner and chef came out to chat with us. Excellent wine recommendations too, the list is all Greek. I am not much of a dessert person typically but the pistachio tart was to die for! This place has only been open 2 months but I predict they will soon be booked up. Go now while you still can as they have limited seating available!

We happened upon this wonderful stylish restaurant while we were out walking exploring the city while visiting for the weekend. Got very lucky to get the last two seats as we had no reservation. Service was very friendly and welcoming, very helpful. Spoke with the owner about wine choices and he explained that they opened just a couple of months ago - he is from Greece and wanted to introduce more Greek dishes than the typical two or three that most people know. Everything we had was unique and interesting and absolutely delicious. We enjoyed a few of the appetizers, a wonderful bottle of Greek white wine, mains, and desserts, and also chatted for a moment with the chef. Everyone was just so lovely and the food was excellent. Would love to visit again on our next trip to Edinburgh!
