Kuyamoto in Hounslow

Oh an absolute amazing restaurant. High end I would say. We just found it late on valentine's day. Small issue. The food is amazing . Still thinking of it the next day. Praise to staff and chef .I will recommend and return soon.

The food is superb and the place is cosy. It’s a great time spent with friends and family, the food presentation is quite nice and enjoyed the chef rolls and sashimi as the ingredients taste fresh

My husband & I are such foodies. We are from Vancouver, British Columbia & have fantastic Japanese restaurants in our area that are hard to compete with when we travel outside of Canada. We tired this restaurant on our trip to London because we were craving Japanese food & we were surprised of how great everything tasted! We loved every dish that we ordered & came back to eat there again after just 2 days! The staff are also friendly & attentive. Amazing food & service! Kuyamoto definitely made it on our list of favourite Japanese restaurants! Would definitely come back when I’m in London again! =)

My brother told me about this spot as a local little Japanese hideaway and I absolutely loved it. Was very quiet when we visited in the afternoon but the staff were very friendly and the portion sizings of food were really lovely. Had refreshing matcha tea and some water with cucumber, followed by a large portion of miso soup as part of the bento box package. The bento itself was well stocked with tempura, sashimi and sushi, spring rolls and rice. Also got a salmon set with different types of salmon and some karaage (the only small part of the whole meal). Overall, really loved it and would definitely come again if in the area.

We visited this great little restaurant for the second time taking along our 8 year old granddaughter who had never eaten Japanese food and boy was she impressed - two thumbs up! Brilliant sushi, great range of delicious starters and mains all reasonably priced. Going back soon for lunch to try their Bento boxes. Big shout out to the female server who looked after us so patiently and attentively.

Popped in on the off chance of an early lunch. Professionally run Japanese Asian serving very high quality dishes. The noodle Ramen with pork was outstanding in every way. Just got to go back

Really good quality sushi and sashimi - maybe a tiny bit behind Makoto (Turnham Green terrace) and excellent rolls (Katsu is excellent). Probably the best atmosphere of the Japanese restaurants in Chiswick - the others all feel quite canteeny. It's still more of a pop in and out kind of place, but really good call for mid-week eats (lunch or dinner) etc. Staff friendly and pleasant.

What an incredible experience, Kuyamoto is the absolutely very best sushi restaurant I've ever visited. The team are so friendly, every time I visit it is always a laugh and wonderful experience. I unfortunately had to move away and there are no decent sushi restaurants here, and I still dream of those gyoza....! Thanks Em

We used to go when it was called Kisaku, which wasn't perfect, but it was so much better... I guess they sold it... The taste of our Katsu curry was super bland and the sushi looked carelessly thrown together, with the salmon chopped in tiny cubes, mixed with mayonnaise and laid on top (maybe it was some left over from the poke bowl?) rather than in the roll, this was very strange.. Nasudengaku was good.The chopsticks and plates were kind of dirty/watermarked. We won't be going back. I really hope Eat Tokio would open in the area

Our visit last night was fantastic. The ambience, food and service was fantastic. So far as noticing that I had removed the lemon from my glass of water in my previous drink so they ensured all drinks for the rest of the evening had the lemon slice removed just for me. The manager/ owner was incredibly attentive to detail and the customer. The only bad thing I can say is that I had food envy, lol. Whilst I would highly recommend the salmon terriyaki, I think next time I must try the katsu, it looked yummy. Lots of options for a curry, ramen, sushi, salad etc something for everybody. What a great local restaurant, I will be going there again soon.

Was not impressed as I was expecting a genuine Japanese restaurant but found it was the usual cheap version with plenty of flavourings and nothing resembling real Jap food. The waiter and cook did not know that udon noodles are made of wheat as they served them thinning they were made of rice. Disappointing.

Had dinner ar Kuyamoto and everything was great from start to end. Service was friendly and the food came quick. The miso soup was very nice, even my daughter (8) said it was delicious. Sushi fresh and very tasty. Katsu curry outstanding with succulent chicken, crispy coating and moorish curry sauce. Value for money is 10/10, we will back soon.

We ate early on a Saturday evening and the restaurant wasn’t too busy but had a good atmosphere. The staff were efficient and very friendly. We will be back again!

We went for a dinner and I was quite disappointed. The service was quite slow. The staff friendly but not really professional. We had to ask for plates as we were sharing everything. The cocktail was good though. I think the chef is not Japanese. It does not need to be a Japanese as long as it is done in a right way, but that was not the case. Chicken karaage was tasty, however it was totally wrong. Proper chicken karate is fried with coated flour (wheat or corn, does not matter) and not dipped in a butter, you don't call it karaage. Miso soup was OK but the seaweed was undercooked and that was the only thing in the soup, just a bit of seaweed swimming. The tempura butter was OK but not crispy enough and the vegetable undercooked. Gyoza came with weird toppings, looking like fusion. Sushi was OK could be fresher. Salmon teriyaki was too wet. it cannot be called teriyaki if it's cooked in teriyaki sauce. The bowl of rice was long grain non sticky one. This was quite shocking to me.

I have now eaten here twice. The food is absolutely delicious and I happily make the effort to drive in from Staines. It’s fresh, tasty and an extensive menu. Have been with friends and my husband and children, who equally loved it. Looking forward to...

Excellent food! Salmon Bento Box was exquisit and fresh! Would certainly recommend as a place to go with friends. The drinks were good too.
