Pequeño restaurante maravilloso en Chiswick. Fui con mi esposa y mi hijo (que permanecerá sin nombre) y comimos mucho más comida que pudimos comer por un precio relativamente razonable.Para empezar, comimos frijoles edamame, rollitos de primavera de verduras y pollo kaarage, que habría sido suficiente por sí solo.Para platos principales teníamos pollo katsu (el pollo estaba bien hecho y la salsa era deliciosa), pollo yaki - udon y la mezcla de sushi vegetariano. Todo absolutamente brillante.El servicio fue atento y amable, sin duda volveré

Hay una fuerte presencia en la web de un menú de almuerzo para Kisaku. Después de haber comprobado lo que mi esposa le gustaría que le recogiera, me dijeron a la llegada "No hay menú para el almuerzo". Había un plato similar (@ 12. 50 en lugar del 7. 50) en el menú principal. Me sentí completamente defraudado por haber viajado allí para que me ofrecieran un aumento del 65% en el precio. El dueño no se disculpó. Fui a otro lado y nunca volveré. El lugar estaba completamente vacío a la 1 pm y no me sorprende.Por cierto, Kiasu es una palabra Hokkien que denota una "actitud egoísta y codiciosa" que surge del miedo a perderse algo. Creo que el restaurante debería cambiarse de nombre.

Trabajo en el parque empresarial de Chiswick y voy a almorzar de vez en cuando. Siempre pido Salmon Teryiaki Bento Box. Viene con arroz y sopa y sushi extra a un lado. Siempre tiene un sabor fresco y bueno y la porción es de buen tamaño. El servicio es rápido, a veces se llena durante la hora del almuerzo.

Amazing little shop with a dedicated chef. Been going there for years, and always been very happy with the quality. Service can be a bit slow but very good restaurant overall.

Been here a while now and it's always great every time! Staff are always friendly and it's always a nice atmosphere. Can get a little busy sometimes but the food is worth the wait.

This is an excellent local Japanese option. The food, the wine list and the service was all great, and very reasonably priced. We will definitely be going back. A great find!

We really enjoyed our meal at Kisaku. The food was delicious, service was great and the overall ambiance of the restaurant was relaxing and pleasant. Will be returning in the future!

Nice little restaurant with friendly staff. The food was well presented and cooked (except the sushi). Only down side was the selection of wine by the glass was very limited and if buying by the bottle expensive. We will certainly be going back there.

This is a lovely, small restaurant in Chiswick. I definitely recommend reserving a table, as there aren’t too many in there. We received great service by the staff who were very conscientious. The best part of my meal was the freshly made sushi which was great value for money with x8 pieces for approx £8.50 a plate. I’ll be going back for the crunchy prawn and spicy tuna roll.

We came here for a birthday dinner. The restaurant is on the main road, it is not very big but it disabled friendly as it is all on one level and there is a disabled toilet at the back. The service was quick and unobtrusive, and the food was excellent - I would recommend trying the chef's "boat" selection as this was the best on offer. There are some vegetarian choices as well.

This is without exception my most favourite restaurant in Chiswick, and Chiswick really is not short of one star or two star Michelin restaurants. I love the simplicity of the surroundings with relaxed music, it is clear the owner and his staff care so much about the restaurant, the preparations and the delivery, what can only be described as a piece of art that melts sufficiently in your palette whilst the gastronomic flavours slowly disappear. This is the by far the best japanese restaurant in London. I recently visited for lunch and I am convinced that the food only gets better. Finally the owner takes so much pride and passion in his work, this is demonstrated in the culture and friendliness when you arrive and leave this magnificent restaurant, without question, I will return!

Ny boyfriend used to hate sushi and fish in general until he tried the food from Kisaku for the first time and now Japanese food is on his top list of favourite food. Amazing restaurant with very friendly stuff and both the sushi, as well as the hot meals are very fresh and tasty. Definetely my favourite Japanese restaurant here in London.

Nice Japanese restaurant, ambient was very nice low light red colour theme. Food was also very nice, we were only waiting for longer thn usual as we were told they were missing a person in their staff. Overall very nice staff, nice food, loved the soft shell crab, the aubugine was nice although i tried one with peanut butter sauce and found it was superior. If you like a distinctivly fattier texture, the kisaku roll with eel is for you (in picture)

Not sure why this place has a high rating, I’ve been to many Japanese restaurants in the UK and quite frankly all the food is seriously over priced for what we got and some dishes lacks authenticity - if I had to pick one, the ton katsu was over cooked and was served with a curry sauce. I don’t remember ordering a katsu curry?

We ordered fried tofu, yaki udon, beef tobanyaki, and sushi. All of them were extremely tasty. You MUST try their fried tofu and beef tobanyaki. I have had lots of Japanese food in England, especially in London area, and this one really stood out.

Nos recibieron con una hermosa sonrisa y nos dieron la bienvenida de la camarera y nos acompañaron a nuestra mesa, el menú es realmente extenso, comenzamos con la selección del chef de Yamato Sashimi, seguido del bacalao ennegrecido en Miso, salmón y atún sushi deluxe y terminamos con El Rollo Califoniano. Para las bebidas probamos su sake caliente de primera calidad, que era increíble. The food was just marvellous, the staff treat us very nicely and gave us nice advice for choosing some dishes. We are very impressed by the chef as well who even made us a special gift dish for our anniversary. We would definitely go back to this amaizing resturant to enjoy another cooked to absolute perfection dish.

Our favourite Japanese in London. Quality always exceptional and the owner and staff are always so nice.

Our visit was on a Tuesday night so the restaurant wasn't too busy, so not sure what it would be like if all the tables were occupied. In our case the food was delicious, and the service attentive and we would definitely go back again.

Exceptional quality sushi (for London measures), cosy set up, generous portion sizes. Service was a bit off as waiting staff were not experienced hence a bit clumsy but overall good. Will be coming back again

We went on a Monday evening but this restaurant's reputation was ahead of us and the place was soon buzzing and filling! And, despite the fact that there was only one server, nothing felt to be too much trouble.

This restaurant has a very calm, quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The value for amount and quality was great and they have a wide variety on their menu. The food was freshly cooked and very tasty. Service was friendly and attentive. I would recommend this to a friend.

This is the second time we have been to Kisaku and its clear that this is the best Japanese local to us. The food is very normal japanese but the execution is very good. Their wine list is very good whether its sake, champagne or wine you are looking. This is not the best Japanese I have ever had but its very good, very good value and we shall return.

Este es un agradable restaurante familiar. Nunca hemos tenido nada que no nos gustó, pero recomiendo el sushi sobre todo; siempre es maravillosamente fresco y bien presentada. Los camareros pueden ser un poco abrumados, pero para nosotros se agrega a la autenticidad de Kisaku, y nunca ha estropeado nuestra (muchas) noches allí. El chef de sushi y el dueño es un perfeccionista que ha creado un restaurante exclusivo y acogedor. Sushi adecuado nunca es barato, pero es tan buena relación calidad-precio Kisaku dinero para que usted pueda encontrar, y si comes fideos o tempura encontrará muy razonable.

Overall kisaku is a pleasant experience. Food was lovely, prices are fair and the restaurant was clean and comfortable. Its a family run business and the waiter was a young guy who needs more experience in achieving more positive customer satisfaction. Definitely 5 stars had the service been improved but everything else was amazing

Very good food and nice experience overall but the waiters looked like it was their first day, overwhelmed and a bit stressed + seemed to have forgotten our sushi order which consequently came out of sequence at the very end of the meal ! And didn’t really make any formal apology (but I think just because they were so out of place). It was in a way almost funny and we felt bad for them!

Very quiet restaurant when we visited. Overall the service and food was good but the sushi pieces were a tad too small (as was the portion of black cod), and we found the tempura a little too greasy. The spider crab maki roll was the highlight dish, and we loved the traditional ceramic tableware. Worth a visit.

We went there on my birthday. Food is not authentic Japanese but good and sashimi and sushi seems to be cooked by Japanese shef. Only issue was not enough staff so we had to wait for a long time to get dishes.

El servicio en el restaurante era un poco inconsistente ayer. Tuvimos que pedir 3 veces una copa y nuestra sopa miso fue comprada sin cucharas. Tardamos años en bandera un camarero. Ninguno de los camareros me preguntó cómo estaba la comida. Fue una experiencia muy en la media. No vale la pena el precio o servicio. No volveré.

An excellent authentic Japanese restaurant where great care is taken to provide excellent food

Our latest visit to Kisaku did not disappoint, the food was on point as always. We thankfully now live closer, as we used to drive out all the way West just for their salmon sashimi! The proprietor is warm as ever, and always comes to our table to greet us and ask us about our experience. The salmon Avocado rolls were especially good the last time!

It's a pretty gloomy restaurant, quite dark but vaguely authentic I guess. However, the mood was really set by the music. Not only was it absolutely dreadful, I've heard more upbeat funeral dirges. Service was friendly enough, but my guest's food was eaten before I'd been served mine. These things happen, but the first course of my meal was a salad and miso soup...Food. It is really very good. Sushi was excellent, though the spider crab roll didn't taste the freshest. Prawn tempura and the grilled aubergine were both extremely good.Sort the service and the ambience out and the review goes to a 'very good'.

It was an ok dinner experience. The quality of the food varied - the black cod (£16) was delicious but definitely not the soft shell crab, and my friend left the kimchee. Parsley appeared on everything, including the ice cream. Strangely, one ice cream flavour was £1 pound more than the other flavours (£5.50 for 2 scoops) and this wasn&#039;t indicated on the menu but appeared on the bill. An unapologetic waiter said the menu price was wrong.

Tasty authentic Japanese food, beautifully presented.

Visited once again for lunch and had the tuna and avocado maki, Tempura lunchbox (tempura king prawns and tempura vegetables, gyoza, chicken katsu, rice and miso soup) and had an excellent shot or two of chilled saki of which they have a good choice, as well as nice Japanese beers. Jasmine tea is also excellent. Bento Box is £12.50.Best of all is the really calm and quiet and cool ambience and polite and helpful Proprietor who is the sashimi/sushi chef - a true gentleman. Parking on meter just outside or in Sainsbury car park about 200 M away.

The food was delicious! It took a long time for our food to come, and we kept on having to remind them of what we had ordered- however the manager came to apologise and explained they were unexpectedly short staffed that day- and that made all the difference! This is the 2nd time I&#039;ve been here and it wasn&#039;t as busy as the 1st time, but the service was shocking. <br /><br />There was only 2 people serving. We asked ordered our food and drinks at the same time. The drinks took about 20-25mins to come. Baring in mind we ordered jasmine tea, tap water and a glass of plum wine. The starter took 45mins to come out! <br /><br />At no point did anyone ask how we were getting on or if we wanted anything else. When our main came out, the plates from the starters were still there. Our table wasn&#039;t wiped down either. I asked for a second glass of plum wine and it didn&#039;t come until after I finished my main.<br /><br />After finishing our mains, the plates just sat there and weren&#039;t cleared until we asked for the bill. The bill and payment was the quickest thing all night. It was only at that point when I asked for the service charge to be removed that I received any apology or acknowledgement of the poor service. <br /><br />I was questioned about why I didn&#039;t want to pay the service charge and I it came across as very rude. Again, not very apologetic. I didn&#039;t receive a good service, hence why I didn&#039;t want to pay it. <br /><br />I&#039;m extremely disappointed in my experience and I don&#039;t know if I will return. <br /><br />The only thing good about tonight was the food.

I am writing this review still sat at the table after another incredible meal. I've been here before with a friend (who lives round here) and I've never had Sushi this good. It's why I wanted to come back. Service is great, food is amazing and good value too. Don't listen to the few bad reviews of this place. Those people are idiots. Try it for yourself!!

Kisaku is a classy Japanese restaurant located close to Chiswick Park Station in London. We visited this place while exploring Chiswick high street. The service was excellent with the typical pleasant Japanese smile. Food was simply awesome. We recommend the bento boxes that come with Miso soup. Their Salmon teriyaki and tempura boxes are yummy. Will visit this place again while passing though London.

Went for dinner here last night. Worst sushi I've ever had, limp prawns clearly been sitting out for ages. Worst Salmon Teriyaki, was so dry asked for a takeaway box to take home to our dog! Worst table service, had to constantly ask for drinks to be refilled and where the food was despite it not being busy. Hardly slept all night due to MSG in something, called them today saying it's my fault! Wife shouting in the background! If you want authentic Japanese food that is totally fresh and delicious go too Tomoe, 292 Upper Richmond Rd, London SW15 6TH - This is great Japanese food, pricey but fresh and delicious and the staff are nice along with the owner. Had better sushi in Sainsbury's also!
