Had a great date night out at Kusikuy - food was delicious (Ceviche Classico was outstanding) alongside authentic side dishes and topped off with Pisco sours. All the best of Peru! Great service and surroundings too.

We had an amazing time. We had not eaten Peruvian food before. The dishes were amazing! Really well presented and delicious. We were made to feel really welcome. Sofia guided us through the menu and we followed her suggestions for a superb meal.

There’s not one part of this restaurant I would not recommend. Food, cocktails, service, atmosphere, and decor were all 5/5. The only thing I’d change is that I’d live in Brighton so I could go every week!

Excellent...5 stars full, all deserved...I can't even know where to start. The place is super cosy, elegant and plenty of history...the staff superb nothing better around, Silvia N1, amazing polyglot person, fun and very professional, people should learn from her, the other girls amazing too. The head chef patron,an amazing person, love to talk and very good host. Food, as a chef, I was amazed of any bite we had. Pork chicharrones incredible with that sauce on the side,very very good Ceviche,omg, something amazing well dressed and with the suggestion of Silvia we had octopus, just top top top. Enpanadas very very tasty, beef and the chicken amazing Mix deep fried sea food very nice. My "dessert " beef croquette, something unbelievable But the gold medal goes to the chocolate dessert with mago pure, served in a amazing coffee cup upside-down, And the wine, omg, I discover a new red wine from Peru, that I had to search on line and bought a case for myself. The overall experience was much more then what we expected, definitely i will come.back, because you guys are just brilliant. Well done Gigi

Has to be one of the best meals in a long time, lovely drinks and the desserts are awesome.

The food was shockingly good, especially the chicharrones and the Chocolate de la Selva. Those 2 dishes in particular blew me away. The service from Enzo was great as he was very genuine and nice throughout. The atmosphere was excellent with the photos and peruvian music. The chef was wonderful and came over to talk with me and my family for a while, he's such a nice guy and it was great to chat with him.

I chose a Ceviche, the lemon is in the bottle, too aggressive, it cooked the fish, no real flavor in this dish that I usually love. The cocktails are good but too small for the price, the dishes to share are not too bad. The service is not very organized, but friendliness is present. My husband had a dish with meat, it was not tender. It's passable but a little expensive for the quality.

The food was utterly beautiful and the ceviche perfect, thank you for being so welcoming and kind. A complete secret gem of a place and wish them every success - will be back with all the family. Please try this remarkable little place on the Seafront in Brighton.

Lovely food, welcoming staff, very nice atmosphere. But expensive and for the money you paying portions are very small. Cocktails also tasty but again expensive and not enough.

I went for a meal and sadly the ceviche clasico was salty. The pollo andino was plain. Jalea, which is fried mixed food, was really nice. Atmosphere and service were excellent. Unfortunately, I do not think I will come back again. I have had better Peruvian food in other restaurants.

Amazing Peruvian restaurant. Not only the food is amazing, the service is super nice and the atmosphere was so good! Also, many Gluten-Free options available. I really recommend this place and I will 100% be back! We ordered Empanadas (carne and cheese), Pork starter (like Spanish Torreznos), Ceviche & Lomo Saltado - all well priced, good quantity and top quality.

An hidden gem on the Brighton seafront, this little and cosy restaurant offers a proper Peruvian experience, from the warm hospitality of the staff, which make you feel like an old friend from the moment you step in, to the incredible quality and testiness of the dishes offered! A must try!

A lovely find! Great Peruvian wine (try the Tannat) and superb ceviche (I loved it so much I had a second plate while hubby had churros!). Nice atmosphere and lovely service. Great pork belly as well!

We came tonight for my girlfriend's birthday (she is Peruvian) and the experience was amazing. The cuisine was delicious and the personal was very lovely and participated with the music to create a great ambiance in the restaurant. We highly recommend the discovery ! :)

Best ceviche you can get in all UK (freshest ingredients). Néstor, the chef is such a great host. Ask him for the Ceviche de “ “Conchas de Abanico” that he brings directly from Nazca, Peru, it is a must. Totally recommended and I’ll come back again.

Wonderful Peruvian spot in Brighton. It's lovely to find a place that makes such effort to deliver authenticity. I loved the place decor and the attention was excellent. Papa rellena and empanadas were delicious and they also had ox anticuchos which were such a nice treat. Amazing pisco sour de maracuya. Highly recommended and will definitely come back again!

What a hidden gem! Absolutely loved our dinner here. The food was just out of this world, so tasty. The waiting staff friendly, happy to explain everything. And just such a lovely Peruvian vibe, so many artefacts to look at on the walls. Highly recommended.

Down in Brighton for the evening, I chose this restaurant by chance, based on proximity and the chance to try a different cuisine. What a lucky choice. The restaurant was great from the moment of the welcome, to the staff friendliness and topped off by the amazing food. The empanadas were perfect - both filling and crust. The main courses were both super tasty but the ribs won hands down over the chicken on drama! Just wish we had had room for dessert! Excellent decor and ambiance too. Well worth a visit and we will go again. Thank you to everyone working there last night, it was memorable!

What a find. We loved this place. Great cocktails to start. Never eaten Peruvian before, we need more of it in this country! We shared everything ( begrudgingly) . Belly pork, fantastic, balanced really well by the sweet potatoes. Lovely scallop dish. Highlight for me was probably the ceviche, but the curried pulled chicken and rice was also delicious. Rounded off with churros and beautiful Peruvian chocolate. Attentive service, fair prices, welcoming atmosphere. Would definitely recommend. We will be back!

Had lunch here the yesterday, sitting outside on a sunny Brighton Saturday whilst getting to enjoy listening to beautiful Puerto Rican music and being welcomed at the restaurant by the owner. The food was absolutely delicious - we really loved the Yuquitas and empanadas and the sauces it came with + their chimichurri is to die for! I had the ceviche classico as main which was really delicious and freshly made and my partner and sister in law had the Anticuchos veganos which again was really delicious and filling. It was nice to see some vegan desert option (the cheesecake sounded great) but we were too full by the end to order desert, although the owner did treat us to some free churros which was really sweet of him and they truly did hit the spot after such a lovely lunch! Would recommend this little hidden away spot to anyone as it's so close to the beach, yet feels neatly hidden away from the business of the street and it was such a great experience to be able to explore some Peruvian cuisine and feel welcomed in such a nice restaurant 🥰 To top it, it didn't break the bank either!

Lovely, vibrant food. We had the Ceviche Clasico, Yuquitas, Anticuchos Veganos, and chicha morada to drink. Highlight for us was the Yuquitas with chili dip but everything was great. The service was attentive and warm. Our waitor was really passionate about peruvian food, he was keen to explain the menu to us and give recommendations.

A Brazilian friend recommended this place and it did not disappoint. The staff were very accommodating despite the fact we had not booked on a Saturday night. The atmosphere was great, the music and decor was very fitting. The food was delicious especially the ceviche and empanadas which we are fond of. Will definitely return with friends next time. Went there on a Wednesday evening and was happily surprised by this restaurant. Earlier reviews made me visit this place, yet the actual experience exceeded my expectations. Cute restaurant located in the basement of a seaside building. It's run by the friendliest host you can imagine. He helped us choose some dishes, as well as gave us some recommendations for places in the area to visit. The atmosphere in the place is cosy, with colorful decor and beautiful Peruvian patterns. The food was nice and seemed to be traditional and mostly homemade. The only thing I could remark is the rather small selection of vegetarian/vegan options - else I would visit this place more often during my stay. Other than that, I definitely recommend this place for a good time with good food, nice pisco sour and a great host!

We found this restaurant by chance on the way back to our hotel. We had our one year and four month old daughter with us. We were able to manage to have her eat with us. The dishes were excellent. I highly recommend this place you will eat very well there for a good price.

My favourite restaurant in Brighton! A cosy restaurant with a very warm welcome. The walls are dripping with Peruvian history and art and the passion that Nestor the owner has about cooking is infectious. I can’t recommend this place enough.

One to avoid. My pregnant partner & I requested the sound on their guitarist amp to be turned down as it was so loud we could hardly hear each other. We unfortunately had to no choice but to leave mid-meal when this was refused. One of the waiters followed us out & apologised about the noise & the attitude of the guitarist & her friends. It appears there is a racist element to their attitudes.

What a lovely place, I had a wonderful birthday dinner here, cheered me up so much and made me feel very special. The name of the place is very fitting :) Amazing food, lovely staff, so friendly and helpful and clearly enjoying what they're doing, sharing great food and drink with their guests. The atmosphere is amazing, the music, the decor, the pisco sours and the ceviche - it all took me right back to my trip to Peru 20 years ago, so feeling very happy and a bit nostalgic now. In our party of five, four of us had never eaten Peruvian food before, and the fifth only in Peru. The menu was varied and it all sounded delicious, so we ordered a range of starters and mains, and each was very tasty. Highlights were the empanadas, yucca chips and chorizo special. We left feeling very satisfied and converted to Peruvian cuisine. The owner was delightful, and really passionate about his restaurant. The decor was colourful and fun, and the whole restaurant really clean and well cared for. I highly recommend Kusikuy as somewhere refreshingly different to eat in Brighton.

Such a nice place! The vegan main dish was ssssso delicious (really, really tasty Peruvian ajís). Also arguably the best vegan pisco sour I've had. There was live music too and the vibes were great.

I've now been here a couple of times. The moment you step into the restaurant it feels like you are stepping in Latin America. The owner (Nestor) is really friendly, welcoming, helpful. The food is great and the cocktails are delicious. It is a great place to meet up with your friends and share a few starters and a main or two between the group. I am so happy that this place has opened in Brighton and I look forward to gonig back again and again. They also do themed nights like Colombian nights with live music. Just ask the owner for the next event date.
