Very very bad quality We ordered 3 seabass They completely burned it same as charcoal It’s not first time It was always burned fishes I am going to complain about them to health and safety Because they give charcoal to people not fish

They started to charge for the soup, which was free and I ordered for £26 they sent me only one soup. It's too disappointing.

Taste is good, it was my first time trying Kurdish food. Didn't disappoint

How to start? Don't go there. Buy and eat food at your own risk. There is a chance you can get food poison in this restaurant. Totally disappointed with the whole experience. The staff is nice and welcoming. That's the only happy part. Food is disgusting. I wished, I went to Tesco for a meal deal. I ordered a family special. Rest is a horror movie. Soup was warm and delicious. Breads taste fresh. Than we received our food. Wings were half cooked, half raw. Fish grill looks like fish coal and smells like rotten. We lost our appetite straight way. Even there plate smells like raw meat. Told manager about the raw food, he thought the food cooked ok and mentioned more than 30 customers ordered the same platter today, no one complained. He offered replacement but we were scared to try anything from that kitchen. I felt bad, and didn't expect an owner or manager will denying the fault which was present infront of their eyes. I asked for our bill, paid it and left 60 to 70% food which was untouched. I wanted to take it away and give it to homeless people. My partner refused to do that. She thought it will give homeless people food poison or bad stomach and they will curse us for that. We told the restaurant staff to throw it in the bin. I checked some negative reviews of the restaurant. Maximum people complain about undercooked food. The owners don't bother. Your health is in your hand. Avoid them. Never ever going there again.

We are a regular to this restaurant, where the unfussy atmosphere is both welcoming and friendly. The food is simple and delicious, the bread especially is fantastic, as is the lentil soup. Great value for money, especially when feeding a family.

My wings were undercooked and had fur on it which put me off my food however the meat soup was the best I ever had

Tremendous atmosphere. I've loved the nature of the restaurant with numerous dishes and a great service provided for the lunch. I traveled to this city, had an amazing lunch and it completed my day.

I ordered a Family Offer take away for pick up. When I arrived, the person was very friendly and welcoming. The food was well packed and given to me. Everyone was polite. However, when I reached home and opened the food, I realised that the fish was completely charred and there were no chips as advertised in the menu. I called to give feedback about this and the staff who spoke to me was very defensive. He maintained that this is how fish is done and was being patronising saying they have been doing this for 20 years. When I asked about the chips he said (again unapologetically) that he had given me rice instead (he had not informed me of this when I picked up the food). Overall, it left me with a bad experience. I informed him of this and said I may not come back again. He wasn't concerned and just said that's alright and hung up.

The food is to a standard quality. Nan bread Not recommended as it is very thin and feels like eating Papadam. It would be helpful to introduce a Thicker Version to Nan break.

It's a lovely place especially for families. Clean and inviting. Staff is friendly and always happy to assist you. Food is delicious with plenty of taste. Served nice and hot. Unfortunately, we encountered rather poor customer service. The server seemed somewhat disrespectful while attending to our table, showing little interest or courtesy. Unlike other tables, we did not receive the same level of care, particularly noticeable when our tea was served simply as filled glasses without the accompaniments provided to others, such as a large jug and saucers under the mugs. On a positive note, most of the food was enjoyable, though the chicken was slightly dry. Otherwise, the meal was quite satisfactory.

Tried lamb shank with rice, soup, salad. Overall good food and good staff. Have tried it once in the pas as well and enjoyed. Taste is still good. You can park in any nearby street or main springbank road after 6:30 for free. Just a tip.

Not a pleasant place to eat. Rude staff and we didn't get everything from the set we ordered. We kept asking for missing food portions until we got fed up. The only dish we all liked was the meat soup, really delicious. I would not recommend this place to my friends

Absolutely beautiful good size portions, delivery was quick, amazing flavour especially from a takeaway, the soup was tasty has to be my go to takeaway at the moment, usually you get food full of grease from other takeaways this on other hand was fresh cooked to perfection. Usually you get barely any salad there was loads loved it

It used to be very nice at kurdish restaurant, but not now, there chups and thika were burned, the bring 3 mint one dish then 15 mint letter an other, it was very bad experience, they should improve!

We haven't ordered from here for ages so hoped it hadn't changed. It was probably better than what we remembered, all fresh, hot tasty food at a very good price with the bonus of speedy delivery.. and plenty of leftovers for tomorrow.

Our favourite place for an informal supper. Pretty much tried the whole menu, we love the lentil soup, kebabs and lassi. Speedy service and a warm welcome every time.

The best food and the service is great

I used to frequent this restaurant years ago when I lived in Hull. Will go as far as saying it was unrivalled when it came to the quality of the food it served. Hence, when I had the opportunity to visit again when I found myself in Hull, I was quite happy and had anticipated a good quality meal. Went there with my family, and the food was one of the worst I’ve experienced, verging on inedible. It’s a shame as it used to be a place the offered really good food.

Menu is meat biased but good quality and value for money

I was served undercooked chicken today which is unacceptable! Disgusting. I've just made myself sick to hopefully stop myself from getting food poisoning.

Lovely food, fresh and wonderful flavours. Very generous portions, lentil soup the best ever, lots of fresh salads, super flatbread, kebabs delicious. Vegetable biriyani lovely, could live on that alone, and the accompanying dishes also delicious. Pleasant service, very very reasonable prices. Nothing too fancy in the set-up, but very clean and perfectly adequate. To finish the meal, tea served in a very attractive way. We will certainly be going there again.

Going to Kurdistan restaurant was definitely a good choice. I had plenty of food and was stuffed. Me and my family are definitely coming back. The welcoming was very warm and they treated you like family. For starters we had chicken and veggie samosas which were absolutely delicious and with the family offer we got Jakob and hummus for free which was very light so it was enjoyable . For the main we had the family offer which came with a variety of foods . Everything was cooked perfectly. The meats were very juicy and well seasoned. Everything was not over seasoned or under seasoned. For deserts we had honey pot , strawberry goblet and the kids had crazy zoo and punky. We will make sure to come back again. If your looking for a wonderful place to eat with lovely waiters Kurdistan restaurant is the place to eat

I’ve been ordering delivery from Kurdistan restaurant sense 14 months now never missed a day as I am working in Hull. The food is great always the people are the best will recommend to anybody who is visiting the town or living in the town. Service is good ; food is not very good . We tried mix kebab and Tashreeba. Overrated.

Staying in Hull for a long weekend, we decided to try the Kurdistan Restaurant after trawling through the 'places nearby' on the web. We were pleasantly surprised. The welcome was warm, the food plentiful and very tasty and service was attentive without being obtrusive. For the first time in over 40 years I was tempted by the tea and I enjoyed it so much I asked for a second glass...now to find out where I can purchase some from. All-in-all a very enjoyable meal and so very reasonably priced too. If ever back that way we would not hesitate in eating there again.

Very good food if you are Pakistani or Indian not for you as no spices at all

Few years ago was our favorite restaurant in Hull. But last time order food was cold. Was waiting 2h for order. Soup wasnt tasty just have too much oil. Dont recommend!

This is our 3rd visit to the restaurant which is definitely the most authentic Kurdish cuisine you’ll taste in the area. A warm welcome awaits you what ever your ethnicity along with a complimentary bowl of meat or lentil soup, (the lentil soup is my favourite) a bottle of mineral water and some fresh Kurdish Tea or Coffee. I couldn’t recommend this wonderfully homely and hospitable restaurant enough. Thanks guys. See you again soon 💙

The food was good but its changed not like before I ordered chicken tikka and its arrived not cooked well I ordered a 4 cheesy chips only get 3 and when i called the person said did you get the order i said yes but not all there was missing portion of cheesy chips then he end the call i called 4 times and they cancelled the call on me Also i ordered chicken kofta they sent meet kofta and still not respond. Next time ill stay hungry rather ordering from them.

Fantastic food. Friendly staff I am vegetarian and they make the best food. My favourite is their amazing thick yoghurt drink.

We really enjoyed our meal. Plenty of food, lovely meats and fantastic bread. Free bottled cold water brought with meal and complimentary tea afterwards were added bonuses. It was clear that this is a favourite for regulars which I always take as a good sign

The kabab and lentil soup are the best in this place. However, can be a miss on rare occasions. The grilled fish is something to avoid as did not like it at all. Enough space for family. Most of the staff are friendly. The food is of adequate quality.

Disgusting service and delivery was very late people are very rude and had no customer service prices are too much for the portion you get. Delivery came with items missing and cold and messed up I called and they said they couldn’t give me a refund.
