Visited with family on a Monday afternoon. Lots of food selection which tasted yummy. Very good price at £9.99 also. Very good value for money. Some of the food could’ve been slightly warmer but overall we enjoyed it. Drinks weren’t that expensive either. Apparently they do more food and desserts at dinner. Can’t really grumble for £9.99 each for all you can eat buffet.

Doing some Christmas shopping so decided to go in for Lunch, £17.99 per person, every single thing was cold, food was not good, dry and tasteless,drinks were over priced. Will not be going back. Lots of much better places to eat in Stains, avoid this place.

Surly manager. Waited for staff at the steak grill hot plate- unmanned. Asked the manager twice if it was operating, no reply the third time he snapped ‘he’s coming’ I replied so is Christmas. Young teenager finally came out drinking a coke and playing on his mobile. Started to charge it and kept drinking. Finally approached me still drinking, no apron just the tee-shirt he was wiping his phone screen and glasses on. Didn’t wash his hands but lifted his top to scratch his back while nodding to let me know he was ready. I told him I didn’t want anything as he wasn’t very hygienic and he grinned 🤷🏻‍♀️ Mediocre, tepid food and poor service apart from the waitress and the man collecting plates. Annoyed that I didn’t spot a red flag that the place was a quarter full on a Saturday night while all the other restaurants were buzzing. Toilet is stained and dirty.

Absolutely disappointed. Cold, bland, trays empty, no flavour, dry desserts. Absolutely avoid at all costs. 2nd time coming, thought because we came late last time this was why food was dry and empty but same again. Honestly don't waste your money. Worst buffet I have EVER been too 🤮

Went in to have lunch. 2 people £35. Pay extra for drinks. That's as soon as you get in the door. Fine. Until you taste the food. Food was dry/hard and tasteless. Dump loads of sauce on it and you have a taste. The trays on the buffet were not very clean. Food stuck to places. The noodles were stuck to the tongs you use to pick up, gave that a miss. The whole buffet was so unhygienic. We were starving, paid our money and ate what we thought was ok. But never ever to go back again. Waste of money.

Having reviewed this restaurant before with 5 stars and always been very happy during a total of 3 visits last year - this was the first visit in 2023. On a positive note: the lunch menu at £9.99 Monday to Friday is still great value - if not even better value now than before as prices for cost of living and eating out have gone through the roof. Choose from 60 dishes and eat as much as you like for the same price Five Guys charges for just a cheeseburger without anything on the side! Also a pint of Stella at £4.90 from the tap is excellent value - keep in mind it’s in most places now at least £6 for a Stella or similar beers. Out of the chosen dishes the pork, prawns and chicken were excellent - also the omelet, fried rice and Chinese noodles very good! The ice cream is still the desert to go for, it’s perfect! However… 3 things weren’t very good: a) both the beef in black bean sauce and the broccoli were rather hard and chewy, not tender and juicy as they should be - avoid! b) some of the plates and ice cream bowls were not clean - keep your eyes open! c) none of the staff seemed to be happy, nobody was having a laugh, nobody said anything more than the absolute bare minimum - why? Regards the often in other reviews mentioned temperature of the hot dishes: I think it was okay - everything was warm - despite not boiling hot fresh on a sizzling plate. No problem for me - I think that’s the nature of a self service buffet restaurant. So there’s certainly room for improvement. Would I go back? Probably yes - as long as it remains at the same price, maybe in a few months, but not immediately.

Awful experience. Soft drinks aren't included in the price and the prices are extortionate! The manager was unhelpful and rude. Practically said take it or leave it. The food was cold and the grill had no vegetables nor a proper meat selection. This place is a temporary set up designed to rip people off. Do not eat there!

Went with family, after booking somewhere else, just happened to walk by, without checking reviews like we normally do, however the venue itself looked clean and lots of selection, why we changed our minds on where to eat. First dish for me was cold thai chicken, was it meant to be cold, surely not if in the same section as warm bbq wings. Went for some noodles and again cold. Not great tbf. Coated prawns weren't cleaned, however the other prawn dish I had, they were all cleaned, so stuck with that dish and it was good. Overall, the food was tasty and I would go again, when back in the area. Noted - maybe the dishes were cold from spoons being left in the trays, which meant the lids can't keep the heat in?!

Not good food was cold and completely tasteless and most of the dishes where empty we asked the staff to fill them up but all they done was walk away ,they are quick enough to take your money but not to fill up food service dishes so I will not be going there again

I was down in Staines on business and walked by and fancied a Chinese as it had been a while.Paid my money for the buffet and then got shown to a table and had soup, dim sum and a variety of main courses.All of these were good and met my expectations so a second plate was required!A good experience all round.

I don’t think I have ever attended a buffet quite as bad as this. The food was COLD and wasn’t being replaced. The restaurant was very busy as it was the weekend and I was shocked that the waiters had allowed the food to be sitting out for as long as it has. What was even worse was that every bit of chicken I ate was not cooked properly. When I told the waitress she told me it was pink due to being ‘over cooked’ and dismissed my claims. Really not happy. Place was dirty, the staff wasn’t keen on cleaning the plates and we had to put them on next table. Some of the food was cold and luck of spices. Some people can’t drink tap water so they should have mineral water if they want a squash to drink (paying £2 for tap water!!!! Joke!!). This place is horrific. The food is salty and pizzas all soggy. All the food is barely lukewarm. The food is pretty much mass catered bought in frozen. It's really not a clean place either.

Walk in to be left in the reception area while staff walk past not really doing anything. Asked to pay first before being seated.... weird. And if you want to pay by card you have to go to the bar where there is WiFi...convenient as this is where you will be going for your drinks... yes you. No table service here.

Random selection of Yorkshire Puddings albeit the establishment is on quote a 'Oriental Buffet' with no option for a Roast. Food selection is plenty but is a big let down. Overly salty that applies to both rice dishes and meats. The Curry Samosas are 90% pastry I thought this selection also was out of place. The Sweet and Sour chicken selection was more on the sour side and like with the Samosas 90% batter.

Our first time here. Eat as much as you like “Chinese” restaurant that also has hard pizza slices, chips and reheated food that is barely warm and not good.

I went with some family members to celebrate a special occasion and I already found odd that they ask you to pay as soon as you enter the restaurant. We pay 45 for 3 people not including drinks. Once we helped ourselves we noticed that the starter was quite cold. We mentioned to the waiter that tried to remedy but without success. We then moved to the main course and the food was lukewarm. Some dishes were ok, but in the majority it was not good. I would not go back again.

2 of us decided to have a Sunday dinner in Kungfu Oriental Buffet Restaurant on 28.07.2019, as we used to have, just or after the VUE Cinema. Unfortunately on this visit the food was not as good as it used to be. There was nothing special, just an avereage chineese buffet with some undercook food. I have to say we overpaid for the quality of the food provided. Not sure if we will come back again.

Food was good and plentiful which is normal for a buffet of this kind . The choice could have been wider and was really only what would traditionally be termed a Chinese buffet. I would have scored higher but the service what there was of it was poor, once we paid at the door prior to eating that was the last time we spoke to a member of staff, no one even checked on us between this and when we walked out of the door... not very customer friendly. Staff were more focussed on a very large school party than to check that my family was ok !

Decent choice but a lot of money for what it is. It’s more quantity over quality. It’s pretty good for kids as they get what they want but not the best tasting Chinese food. Does the job though.

My wife and I decided we wanted to find a buffet restaurant for dinner as the pub we originally went to was packed.

This is, by far, the worst restaurant I've ever been to. I normally don't like to complain about food but this time I felt the urge so that people aren't misled. The starters were ok. However, the teppanyaki and the sushi counter were disgusting. We asked for a salmon teppanyaki and the lady preparing it gave me a look as if I've asked for her wedding ring. We then got our *salmon teppanyaki* which included 4 super-thin shavings of salmon only to realise that it had gone off. This completely ruined my appetite and we left the place immediately. I would never visit this place ever again. Please avoid at all costs. It's just not worth it.

It's not amazing, it's not terrible. The food can often be hit and miss, but for the most part it's well-prepared and tasty. On the weekends, there's a dizzying amount of choice available and you'll be spoilt for options, but it can be very busy at peak times.

Visited the restaurant on a Saturday night as we were visiting the nearby Thorpe Park. The initial engagement with the front of house was unpleasant to say the least, as a group of six, we were almost made to feel unwelcome and additionally were asked to 'pay up front' the £14.99 for the buffet, a request I thought was strange but after taking my first sip of bland sweetcorn water (chicken & sweetcorn soup) I immediately understood why they did this. We were seated at a table after payment at the bar and not once asked if we wanted a drink. Never have I experienced food so tasteless, bland and stale at any restaurant and even more so, an oriental buffet. The far from aromatic duck, usually a Chinese speciality, was not shredded and more mashed with squirty hoi sin sauce, the prawn crackers were chewy and clearly not fresh (at least three days old) and the sweet and sour chicken balls were like Ikea meatballs in a bottled sauce. We had a laugh at the Aunt Bessie Yorkshire puddings. Would not recommend and will most definitely not be returning. 0/10

Not sure on everyone else's reviews but when we went there it's nothing like what people are saying its lovely! Always well stocked with food very yummy and lots of choices, the chocolate fountain is yummy! Would recommend

It's a Chinese buffet. Plenty of choices for 13.99 (we went on a Tuesday eve). Can't complain. Left so full I could hardly walk. Would come again.

This buffet was absolutely awful , to say the food was bland is an understatement. Most of the food you can tell was shop bought frozen food. Advised the woman of the customer feedback and she was just not interested which I thought was highly rude and unacceptable. Will definitely not be going back to this place. I advise anyone not to visit this eatery and waste your money there are far more better eateries to visit.

This place is cheap. About £15 for all you can eat. If you've had a few beers it's the perfect place. But the food isn't all that great. It's the type of chinese food you buy from Iceland. However, i like that type of food. There is a lot to choose from. Very good value for money.

What a delicious find. Having 2 fussy children with us it was a pleasure to find a selection of Chinese and English cuisine. Staff where very helpful and the food was amazing. Will definitely be back next time I'm in the area

There used to be several good Asian buffet restaurants in Staines but that is no longer true and this is one of the worst.

This place has certainly gone down hill as regards the variety and quality of food on offer. Our visit was a Thursday evening so to find the place practically empty was a surprise, but indicates to me that there is a deep seated problem.

Midnight streetside VOMIT has more appeal and credibility. An UTTER DISGRACE.. In a hurry to cinema, should've walked by. Food Standards Agency, please investigate and report. I do not believe the food is all what it says it is.

So much choice! Some great staple favourites and a few new unusual dishes. Several english dishes for the less experimental and some great oriental dishes cooked to order. More choice in the evening and weekends which is reflected in the price.
