Krispy Kreme Braehead in Renfrewshire

I’ve actually been here twice this year with my family, once to sit in and once via the Drive-Thru. The building itself was massive - genuinely couldn’t believe the size of it. Access via car was, in my opinion, a bit confusing. The road markings and approach were far from simple. That aside, we had no issues with the Drive-Thru nor with the sit-down area inside and the staff were friendly enough. The food and Hot Chocolates we ordered, on both occasions, were great. Genuinely no issues - the Biscoff Doughnut in particular was top level and to be honest, will be my go-to in the future. One downfall - the price. I could probably justify paying what we did on the odd occasion but for me, they’ll surely lose regular repeat business from normal, middle-class families. On our second visit, it cost just short of £20 for my son and I to have a hot drink and Doughnut each, so not even a full meal. Taking all of the above into consideration, a respectable 4/5 rating is fair.

Arrived at the store after a 26 mile drive with 2 kids all excited about doughnuts. Attempting to order we where told they don't accept cash. Kids upset we cancelled the order and as we walked out the door the staff started laughing at my kids crying. We will never be back. Disgusting customer service. Bank card still in the post.

Went to buy 3 boxes of donuts my son had a party and was told they don’t accept cash 🤯 to travelled all the way over there for nothing! Why do businesses think this is acceptable do they know there cutting there customers in half by going card only if they don’t change this there’s a good change it will go bust like every other place that are card only

I went in primary for a strong cup of coffee and a couple of doughnuts the place was filthy,untidy, and basically just a mess. The staff seem to talk a lot to each other rather than the customers. This is an awful place give it a miss

This store is exactly what you would expect from Krispy Kreme, fresh donuts and lots of options for toppings. If you need proof that the donuts are freshly made, they have a window into the area where the donuts are made. Donuts and coffees are great. It’s a joy to watch the people and machinery involved in the creation of the donut delights.

Nice clean store but less than adequate staff interaction. We went to purchase three doughnuts, one for each family member and were abruptly informed by the member of staff that they don’t do three in a box anymore. We replied that that’s fine, they don’t need to be in a box and were then told that a box of four is cheaper and we should go for that. We quickly added up our order which came to £7.75. The box we were being rudely pushed towards was £8.25 so not cheaper. Maybe better value overall but not cheaper and we didn’t need four doughnuts. If I want to be buy three doughnuts I should be able to buy three doughnuts without a rude member of staff with a bad attitude insinuating that I’m being the unreasonable one. I don’t appreciate the fraudulent upsell.

Was shopping with my granddaughter who is 9 year old and she asked for 1 donut from the stall because she had her own money, firstly, to not accept cash is a disgrace. How many of your customers are children and do not have access to banking facilities and secondly the staff there were vacant and unhelpful to see a young girl with tears in her eyes. I run my own cafe and in that situation, I would certainly have made sure there was a different outcome.

Me and my girlfriend drove 40 minutes as it was advertised all over outside the store including on a big illuminated sign right outside that the drive through was 24 hours. It was only 11pm and we sat and waited at the drive through for over 15 minutes and even honked the horn a couple times and chapped the window, we could see workers inside and were just ignoring us. Was a large waste of time and a ruined night for both of us, I strongly agree if this place is going to false advertise then they will loose many customers so please resolve this issue now..

Car park full of shoppers cars and not patrons so hard to use if sitting in. Donuts good as usual. Coffee mediocre, cup of tea tasted and looked like dishwater. As with many fast food shops, nobody seems to be in charge.

The staff here ignored us for 5 minutes chatting! They congregated to back and made us feel awkward. When I asked about vegan doughnuts she said everything is labelled! Worst service I've ever had and won't be back!

Fantastic service from the team, the young ladies that served us ( Mellisa and Ollie ) they were very helpful and friendly. We ordered a variety of different doughnuts and also 4 hot drinks, it was nice to be given the option to have oat milk which was refreshing as not a lot of places are accommodating for people that can’t have dairy. I would highly recommend coming to Krisy Kreme Braehead.

First time visiting Krispy Kreme at Braehead. Went in for a treat for my little girl. When we were choosing our doughnuts my daughter picked one doughnut but then changed her mind (as kids sometimes do). When we said to the girl behind the counter she couldn’t have been more rude or annoyed. She rolled her eyes took out the doughnut and slammed it in the bin, huffing as she did so. Totally unnecessary and not at all how a member of staff should act. Shocking!

Friendly and helpful staff with plenty of selection with a large seating and kitchen viewing area to watch the donuts getting made. Worth a visit!
