Krave Coffee in Bury

Called in on Fri 11th October for coffee and cake for 4 people at 3.25pm as they recently started to open until 4pm. Person behind the counter barked at us that the kitchen was closed it was only drinks and desserts which we said was ok, we were debating whether to eat in or take away as there was a young girl starting to mop the floor and there was a strong smell of bleach and we were also being given the impression by the rude person behind the counter that we were an absolute inconvenience for daring to want to give the business custom when it was still 35 minutes before closing we decided we would take away. Unfortunately when our first order was for a hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows and the server realised the marshmallows were packed away at the bottom of a large plastic box on the counter the massive sigh and the disgusted look on her face was enough and said it all so we walked out and took our money elsewhere. Would have spent about 30.00. Note to owner we love krave we are in at least 2-3 times a week the food is amazing, desserts even more so, all the staff are lovely and happy and helpful. Apart from ONE! You will know who she is, get rid, she’s losing you customers, horrible miserable person and needs to change her attitude or job preferably. Sadly we won’t be back till she has.

Robbed @ Krave. I visited on Friday 27th September and ordered scrambled egg on toast to take away. I received one 1 piece of toast (yes 1 piece of toast) and scrambled egg which didn’t even fill the toast … all for £5.90. Absolutely robbery, talk about having your pants pulled down. No thanks. Goes without saying I won’t be returning.

If I could make those 1 stars a 0 I would. But I can’t so here we are. We came in and ordered breakfast. Which looked exquisite and entirely over priced not only did I get 1 piece of sour dough. It was completely FROZEN. We asked for a sharper knife as we thought it was just the crust, she said she’s bring a new piece of toast. We then moved the eggs off the top and poked the middle. It was fully frozen. We took it back and she said she’d make a new dish. A lady brought it over and specifically said “I used to have that sour dough on my dinner all the time it’s just the crust”. She lied and said it was just the crust but it wasn’t it was fully frozen.

Always lovely food at Krave. I visited with my daughters on a Wednesday in July and we all enjoyed our meals. The food was hot and well presented and good portion sizes. We visited at lunch time but didn't have to wait long for our meals. The toilet was spotlessly clean and the staff were friendly and efficient. I've been at breakfast time too and would highly recommend the full English.

Omg not worth a visit,walked in the place with my wife , tables were not tidy and not cleaned , order a breakfast and my wife orders an omelette breakfast was cold and poor and my wife's omelette was unsatisfactory , it was uncooked inside and tastes horrible , can't be live people charge for this, shocking the cakes are from Costco? That's wot she totold me horrible place q

First of all the coffee is to die for!! I drive 15 mins a day to get a Latte from Krave as it’s better than any other coffee I have tasted. The food is AMAZING not just during the day they have opened an After Dark menu on Friday and Saturday nights where they sell burgers, chicken wings, loaded fries, combo boxes as well as serving alcohol!! Would deffo recommend!!

We visited today for the first time.. we really enjoyed the food and drink that we had. We had a BLT sandwich, a slice of cake, OJ and a Cappuccino. On the other hand inside the place needs a little attention. All the tables were either dirty or had plates and cups etc on them. They were not cleaned or emptied nearly quick enough. We were in there for 30 mins and the same tables still hadn’t been cleaned or cleared. My husband ordered the cake and coffee. He got the cake and the drink came 10 mins later. Most people like their drink with their cake. I could see they were busy with orders that had been made online.. but the shop that people come into to eat should be a priority! The girls who served us were lovely but not very quick bringing out the drinks etc. the atmosphere was fine, music good. It won’t have stopped us trying again but hope to see an improvement to the tables being cleaned and cleared.

Food is ok, but very over priced.

Big shout out to Hannah who is amazing and was extremely courteous when I spilled my coffee like a moron straight after it was handed it to me! She made me another straight away even though they were closing, just one example of the exceptional service at Krave. My girlfriend and I absolutely love coming here, the staff (like Hannah) are always lovely and the food is incredible (highly recommend the full English, cheesy bacon fries and breakfast pancakes). To top it all off, the coffee is bloomin' divine. Hands down my favourite coffee in the world. It's even better when you aren't spilling it everywhere! 😆 Thanks to Hannah again, and thanks to Krave for always being the best. Get down there as soon as you can.

Visited here before a trip to Heaton park - it has so much potential; the cafe itself was designed really well, clean and comfortable. However we did wait over 25 minutes for 3 paninis, and a further 10 mins before the kids meals came out. And the cheese on my panini wasn’t even fully melted after waiting so long 😭. Kids loved their meals and pancakes (we had to get them to takeaway because we could only use the street parking for 1 hour). Coffee was really nice, cakes looked gorgeous, and staff were really friendly and accommodating. I would go back and give it another go!

Allowed me to stand in line for 10 minutes kept looking at me and my dog just to let me know when I arrived at the counter it was not dog friendly! It's also a really odd location better food options on this little stretch. Much better to go into Prestwich though where there are lots of more cost effective and better atmosphere restaurants and cafes if you're looking to sit in.

Solid breakfast, nice atmosphere.

Had an awful experience here having been many times for pancakes. The stack of 3 pancakes were stodgier than usual and one particularly doughy (maybe undercooked or mix). After eating 1/4 and cutting it up a bit to determine the issue, decided really couldnt enjoy this. Sent it back but only 2 pancakes came back and no icecream. I asked why this was and they said I'd eaten it, so spoke to the woman at the counter and explained I had not and generally this was a strange approach to correcting their mistake. As I was doing so a cook shouted to us from the back that I can have it but I am 'paying for it', 'it's expensive icecream' and 'we can't give it away for free'. It's embarrassing complaining or sending food back but having enjoyed these pancakes before I know they weren't right. The woman on the till was lovely and gave me the refund I asked for, but I found the experience upsetting purely for the rudeness of the cook, who was evidently personally offended as it was revealed she'd put together the plate. My partner asked to speak to her and he's a very reasonable man, but she just doubled down, in front of everyone repeating we can't have icecream for free, bizarrely, and ultimately tragic for everyone involved as we won't be back.

Delicious coffee...great alternative if boycotting the likes of Costa and Starbucks 🇵🇸

Really enjoyed this breakfast. I think it is a little expensive for what you get. Only one piece of toast and no cup of tea and very small sausages for £10.45. It was nice but at this price I wouldn't rush back as I can get this same quality breakfast much cheaper else where. But it was presented nice and tasted good.

Hi Krave I have been calling in recently and have enjoying the bacon sandwich and a coffee deal in the mornings. Today was the first time ever I have ever been asked to pay before they would process my order I ordered at the till and said where I would be seated, went to my table, then someone came over asked me to repeat my order that I had just given at the counter and asked me to go back to the counter and pay first I pointed out that do I look like I could run off without paying So after you would not take my order without paying first I just left Won't be coming back ever From an insulted ex customer

Would of been a 5 star if they wasn't selling multipack crisps for 80p 👎🏽 Breakfast was delicious lovely service and yummy yummy yummy cakes.

Krave Coffee is a lovely cafe in Whitefield with plenty of free parking outside. The staff are all cheery and polite and the food is well cooked and neatly presented on your plate. Theres no step at the door and a ramp inside so easy walking for older customers and easy access for wheel & push chairs. We both had the small english and I swapped out those nasty mushrooms and tomatoes (my own taste I just dont like them) for another Grandads Sausage. The Americano was spot on and I would go back here just for another cuppa probably have some cake as well. Lunch menus when I asked are only served on weekdays. The seating inside is very comfortable, and theres also tables and chairs outside. A disabled toiket is also located at the back.

Knave is a very small chocolate cake and coffee shop along Heywood Road . You ring to reserve a seat, and there food shoped selling at 2pm while shop closes by 3pm so you need to ring on time for reservations.

I am a carer and found this place by accident when I was looking for somewhere to take one of my customers with dementia. It is clean and friendly and the food is lovely. My customer ate everything and said she really liked it. It was so good, I went back with my daughter and, as you can see by her face, she loved it too. The homemade cheesecakes are to die for, you really need to try them 😍

Sometime businesses deserve praise even when things don't go as planned. I had a problem with my food order. When I told them, they dealt with it amazingly. The problem was sorted immediately, I was given a voucher for a freebie for my next visit, and they couldn't apologise enough, they even gave me a few extras. Krave also have the best bacon and sausage butties in Prestwich and I've had a few :)

Our usual place wasn't open so took a chance here and oh my lord was it nice, absolutely gorgeous breakfast and so glad we traveled up from Bolton! Thank you!

Ordered an omelet came without the beans, tasted like rubber and tomatoes wasn’t cooked. Had our drinks 10 minutes later (not busy inside) Someone was in here before us and they was still waiting for there food we got ours before them when we came in later We used to love coming here for our lunch but after today we won’t be returning.

Seriously decent local cafe. Breakfasts are text book perfect with no weird additions. They also cook Granddad's Sausages better than anywhere else I have tried them. Pricing is also exceptionally reasonable. Finally plenty of helpful staff keep things moving and never waiting long

Nice, friendly cafe. Have been popping in on weekends for a while, always enjoy the food and the coffee is lovely. The breakfast menu has plenty to choose from and the staff are always helpful and polite.

the best english breakfast we had for a long time. each and every element on the plate deserves recognition 🙌 Good quality meat, sourdough bread and good portions. Initially we were hesitant to come due to the little higher prices than usual but we’re definitely getting back soon.

Lovely little cafe with a good and varied menu. I was there for brunch and had the breakfast pancakes, which were very good. They also have a lunch menu and lovely cakes too.

Service was a little slow, but I think there had just been a bit of a rush. Breakfast was made well with great quality bacon and sausage. Very tasty and nice coffee too.

Delicious pancakes! These are a must, don’t skip them. Got the eggs Benedict, the bacon was amazing, egg and hollandaise sauce maybe not so much. The egg was a boiled egg instead of poached but an enjoyable dish nonetheless. We ordered the flapjacks, omelettes, full English breakfast and a bunch of other stuff. Pretty happy with our meal. Would definitely recommend if you’re in the area and searching for brunch.

This place was good, it’s quite relaxed. Staff are friendly and the food was nice! The breakfast pancakes were great value - although there’s no ‘table ordering’ / reservation system, so if you take a table and go order separately, the queue can be randomly long - then your food comes at very different times.

Cant really judge atmosphere as i take away. Been a handful of times as im on a job round corner and the coffee smells tastes and looks wonderful ! The food is brilliant , possibly on the expensive side compared to a bargain but absolutely worth it. Service is magnificent. Its cash payments only at the moment due to technical issues and my card was givin me grief with withdrawals. A gent who works there let me send him a tenner and he withdrew it for me. 100% saved the day and we enjoyed that dinner break more tgan the rest !

I went to Krave for the first time with my 20months old son and my sister. I was impressed by interior design. Big thanks to Carla, she was so professional, welcoming and nicest person I have met in long time. She is a very valuable asset for Krave. Only negative thing I would comment on that they haven't got kids menu, so I have to order adult portion of pancakes for my son, and It was inpossible to finish for him, so it went to waste. You could do also with some colouring papers and little crayons. At that time there was least 4 little kids with parents eating adults portion meals😢. We will definitely go to. Krave again anyway.

here you could get a great coffee! But they do say "we closed" , even 3-4 min till the close time. so be careful and be in time!

Been to this place quite a few times and I must say the food is amazing so yummy and the homemade cakes are to die for it’s also a pleasant atmosphere as the staff as so friendly. A really nice place to visit with the family or friends for breakfast or lunch or just a coffee and cake as there is something for everyone.

After hearing really good reviews about krave! Was so excited to go snd try it, went in and ordered poached egg and avocado on toast and scrambled egg on toast for my granddaughter , when it came there was no avocado on it and the poached eggs were not cooked, they brought me some avocado separate as I asked where it was and they never said anything about it having chillies in it,

Great little coffee shop. Nice relaxed vibe, though occasionally gets slightly noisy, and best poached eggs I've found in north Manchester.

When it's good it's very very good. When it's not, it's ok. It might be Mother's Day but dads sometimes appreciate a day off as well so it was off to Krave for brunch. Hot there just on 10.00am BST or 9.00am GMT, which isn't too bad for a Sunday. Plenty of free tables, the calm before the storm, and no queuing to order. All good so far. Breakfast pancakes for two, to be served with an apple juice and a large decaff skinny latte. Drinks arrived promptly and the background music is relaxing and unobtrusive. I'm not convinced that this is a large latte but I'm halfway through it before that occurs. I'm also halfway through it when the adjoining table of four who arrived and ordered some ten minutes after us gets their order of full Englishes. It's half an hour after we ordered when our food arrives and by now, they're warning patrons of a 30 minute wait. The sausage patty is the highlight, then the fried egg, just runny enough but not so much to be messy, then the stack of pillowy pancakes. There's not enough of the bacon shards to form an opinion. It did the job and by now seating is at a premium and takeaways are leaving at a pace so it's definitely popular. Mission accomplished.

Went to Krave today for the first time after several recommendations. The breakfast was tasty and beautifully presented , great value for money and served by pleasent staff . The cakes and Brownies looked gorgeous so had to have a take out ( they didn't disappoint) . We will definitely be going back to sample more of the menu .

This cafe is awesome. Excellent service and the food is top quality - always nice and fresh. The club sandwich with cheese is incredible. A go to place on a hangover. Really nice relaxed vibe. I’ve not had any of the cakes but they do look delicious.

Visited Krave today for the 1st time and will definitely be going back, there was a great menu to choose from, quick service and lovely friendly staff. Food is absolutely delicious with a great menu. Loved it!! Drove from Scotland and stop by for the best Soya Mocha and Latte. Yum yum...Will defo go out of our way to stop by again...very soon hopefully. 😋

Don't have a picture because my mouth is always watering too much to get my phone out. I just want to tuck in. We discovered this little gem one day when we were sick of drive thru and the normal take aways we were getting. It was take out only when we first went and it was absolutely delicious. More recently (last Sunday) we made a massive order of 10 different items to be delivered... Now the test was the eggs coz if they ain't runny its a fail and much to our delight every single egg was as if it had just come out of my own kitchen. We are yet to try anything else as we always just want the breakfast but will update as soon as we have explored what this place has to offer. Keep up the amazing work 😊

Excellent service and excellent food. Could do with a few more vegan options though and maybe something gluten free that isn't fries or spuds.

Very disappointed with Krave. (5 minutes drive away). Placed our breakfast order on the App at 1021am, email confirmed order at 1030am, email confirmation the order on it's way 1110am, chased order at 1126am (was told it was on it's way). Chased again at 1200 noon (was told it was definitely on it's way) We rang and cancelled our order at 1219pm as it had still not arrived.

Nice place, but what large breakfast only comes with one egg and no drink included? Tasty breakfast but on the expensive side.

Omg this place just never fails. Cajun chicken pasta salad box was just amazing. I’ve tried a few things now from the menu and none have disappointed. Butter milk chicken burger next i think.

Had lunch here on Wednesday. Beef Yorkshire pudding wrap delicious. Hot and cold dishes, coffee and deserts all tastes catered for. Eat in or take away. Will be back and definitely recommend

Thank God we now have a local PROPPER Coffee shop with actual barristers! I'm supper coffee fussy and their latte is hard to beat. SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESS especially if there this good.
