The best Sunday Roast I have ever had in a traditional English Pub. The food is all home cooked and home made, great portions and fresh to your table. The girls behind the bar are fantastic and nothing is too much trouble, I can not recommend highly enough, give it a go You won't be disappointed. All the regulars are friendly and welcoming and the pub is a proper English pub with an award winning beer garden and a great selection of beers and wine, My regular Sunday dinner pub from now on

We had our lovely Christmas dinner here and it was delicious! We were stuffed! We had a great time. The company was great, the staff was fantastic and couldn't do more for you. A little hidden gem. Try the food you will not be disappointed! Thank you for a lovely Christmas day!

Full of character. A proper traditional pub.

Proper pub. Good beer without messing around with lots of flowery guest beers or food. Managed to avoid the trend to open spaces up - it maintains several more friendly rooms. Good beer garden and smoking area.

When I say many, I mean since I was about 17. Now, that is some years ago. What a lovely surprise! Very welcoming and we only sat in the snug. It was like my front room! Archie chilled, got a few strokes and settled well. We had a couple of pints of Trailblazer and Gold! I think my old local, might become my new local! Looking forward to a few more nights in here, the amazing beer garden and of course a few more pints of Trailblazer! Steeped in history and heritage. Small 18th-century brick-built locals' pub which was renovated in the inter-war period and still retains its layout from this time with a lobby bar and three small rooms leading off it. The lobby has a bar counter which is old but has modern panels added to the front. Note the shelves for lobby/passageway stand-up drinking – at times the lobby is full of customers while some rooms are scarcely occupied at all. On the front right is the tap room/vault with a lino-tiled floor, and inter-war fixed seating.

Very nice pub, great service by the staff and to top it all was the outside space with the purpose built stage, just brilliant 👍

What a Beautifal Place & such a lovely atmosphere 👌 , land lady took a random dislike to me and my companions and refused to serve us, such a shame on there behalf id love to try again but I'm really put off , place has so much potential hopefully next time we're bit more welcomed here ... , I'm not a pub person but boy it's got me thinking😬

Had many Sunday meals, always good and always made welcome, especially our dog. Means such a lot to find a really good dog friendly pub 😜

We’ve just travelled over with our football team for a game at Prestwich Heys, what a lovely pub, 3 different seating areas and a big beer garden with a stage, fantastic hospitality and even but some footy grub on for us which was very well received, if you are coming to Prestwich Heys as an away supporter I would highly recommend popping in here as a stop off before the game.

You can’t beat old school multi roomed Holts pubs if you appreciate your heritage venues. Great service and the Holts Best Bitter is as good as it gets. If you’re passing - call in you won’t be disappointed.

A proper boozer as my dad would have said. Friendly staff, good selection of drinks and reasonably priced. They do Sunday roast so I will be back to try that out. Nice pub. I liked it.

Went tonight for the first time. Sat in the back (outside) to watch a soul and motown singer. Really enjoyed the night. Great atmosphere. Will go back again.

Well managed pub, with very courteous staff and service. Nice place to spend a couple hours with friends and family. A good level of entertainment too on most Saturdays.

Went to watch a show on Saturday night so haven't eaten here yet, but I've heard good reviews about Sunday lunch, so we will be giving that a try.

Really enjoyed the evening . they had a Dolly Parton tribute act on she really got every one singing. Some of the people also where dancing a good night .

Seen this place advertised and decided to try Sunday lunch. We only just managed to be fitted in ...thanks to the friendly staff. So glad they managed it as the roast lamb dinner was amazing. Full of flavour with lots of veg and topped with a Yorkshire pud! Definitely will be back...but will remember to book a table! Lovely quirky pub with small rooms and a fab beer garden outside. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming.

Lovely little pub and excellent value for money. We're from outside the area and weren't too sure if we'd be so welcome at a 'local' venue such as this, but everyone was very friendly and you can't beat a £3.80 pint in this day and age! Lovely beer garden too!

Always the best experience here. The atmosphere is great, Sunday dinners are top tier, always got a fun event on for both kids and adults. The landlady goes above and beyond for all customers.

What a fabulous Sunday lunch! Plenty of lovely fresh vegetables with a generous portion of lamb, roast and mashed potatoes , service was excellent. And a lovely pint of Joey Holts. Will certainly be going back.

Not visited this place in five or six years and sadly the regulars no longer frequent this once fabulous meeting place. Nevertheless it is comfortable and the beer is well kept.

Lovely pub, good selection of drinks. Very accommodating to needs. The beer garden in the rear is delightful, a must visit pub! Holds various acts in the beer garden too. Hope to get back again soon.

Another fabulous lunch today at the Coach. Thank you to all the staff, especially Sue who went the extra mile to make Mother’s extra special for me and my daughter. It really is worth a visit. We will be going again soon.

Just had a family bereavement and Sue was brilliant with being able to host us for a gathering afterward. The buffet she put on for us was good value and she even tailored it to what we needed. Couldn't praise her enough as nothing was too much trouble and the food was really good, drinks were a good price and the pub rooms were the perfect size for our group. Would highly recommend

Great traditional pub. Fantastic all round.

What a beer garden this place has. Even got its own stage area, genius. Had a band on when we were there and by the end of the night it was jumping. Covered seating for when it rains, Joey Holts in the pumps at nothing a pint, what's not to like?

Classic Old Man's Pub with friendly, down-to-earth staff and very reasonably priced beer. Very clean and fab beer garden at the back. What more can you say?

Went to this pub with my family and 9 of our grandchdren. We sat in the beer garden at the back of pub. We haven't been here before and will not be goin back the landlady sat outside pulling her face most of the time we were there at the time we didn't no who she was. There Wasn't a wide range of drinks on offer for kids dont think the locals in here like families invading there space. On the way out my daughter asked a question about wine she had the landlady was rude abrupt and wouldn't listen to what she was saying and then after spending a fortune in the pub all evening she then barred us all not that we would ever go there again. If u are miserable and don't like kids u will love this place if not stay clear

Place has really with the new land lady sue and her partner Lee. Pub if looking brighter and cleaner as well as all the work in the garden to make it nicer all round

Land lady likes placing nasty notes on parked cars. If she that concerned about parking she needs too Get the council to mark the road properly, better do her job properly and pay more attention to how much her customers are drinking whilst driving. Most are well over the limit when they leave. Not over keen on the pub itself, not very friendly.

Not been in Coach for many a year, it was a favourite hang - out, quite a few of us used to sit in baywatch( for those in the know ) It was hubbys favourita9 pint of Holts'

Sorted boozer. Landlords always pissed but no one takes any notice. Nice garden/smoking area.

More of a locals pub. Only 1 ale available on our visit.
