PAGODA IS ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC FOR KOSHER CHINESE FOOD. PEOPLE FORGET THAT NOT ALL INGREDIENTS ARE NOT KOSHER AND WE JEWISH PEOPLE HAVE TO USUALLY HAVE ALTERNATIVE PRODUCTS. DANIEL IS THE NICEST AND KINDEST PEOPLE I KNOW. HE PUTS A GREAT DEAL OF EFFORT TO MAKE HIS PRODUCTS THE BEST. HE IS ALWAYS LOOKING TO IMPROVE. HE IS EXTREMELY AMBITIOUS. HE WANTED TO GIVE THE JEWISH COMMUNITY A TASTE AND EXPERIENCE OF CHINA AND HE HAS

It’s takeaway I got from them, this is one of the worst sushi I’ve had and it’s overpriced. Updated: Didn’t want to describe how bad it was, thought it didn’t worth my time. But since I got a reply, here is my proper review. The tuna was very fishy, salmon was okay but the portion size isn’t worth the price still. The salmon in the maki was tiny. The worst part was the rice, it’s very sticky, tasteless. Some of the rice in the rainbow roll was very hard, it’s like the rice at the bottom when you use a rice cooker to cook it, it shouldn’t be served to customers. I’ve been to Japan many times, and I visited most of the sushi places in Manchester. But I’m using “YO Sushi” standard to say this is one of the worst sushi I’ve had. If you think one bad comment can sabotage your business, then you really should review why is it so fragile. I’d look at the bad comments just like the good ones if I were you, that’s how you improve isn’t it?

Always a great experience and great food .. lovely service - they even remember what you like to eat. Looking forward to coming back soon .. my son has requested a trip as soon as he gets back from abroad.

Moish always gives great service and those steak tacos are 🔥 recommend them to everyone

Found Pagoda on uber eats. Worst sweet potatoes fries I've ever tasted and very cold meal when it arrived. Very hard to get a hold of staff as they did not pick up after several attempts, when I did get through was kept on hold until we had to hang up. Not worth the expense. Edit: as you can see from screenshot, definitely ordered and ate from there so review is genuine.

Someone is using your phone to make scam calls. Exactly the same number as yours but they claim to be from a different company or call centre.

Food is not authentic Chinese, it's fake 1960s English/Cantonese style. Total kitchen nitemare. Menu is ridiculously large, full of frozen food - almost nothing fresh, sauces watered down. Food is exceptionally bland, freezer burn, watered down sauce and poorly cooked. Ordered a steak medium and it came well done and very chewy. All other food was deep fried or heated up from frozen. Even the egg fried rice wasn't cooked properly, it was literally an egg thrown on some rice without soy sauce. The cost is insane, 300% markup on noodles and rice dishes you would in find any other (fake) Chinese takeaways. Please simplify the menu, learn to cook, learn to cook real Chinese food or any of the other countries you have on the menu (Japanese, Israel, BBQ) . Don't try to pretend you can cook. Hire a real chef, try the real thing. The restaurant owner is rude and cannot even read properly. I suspect this restaurant is in financial troubles given the lack of cohesive menu, reliance on frozen food and insane charges.

Ordered takeaway just now - whilst the duck and pancakes were good, their Szechuan chicken main was the most flavourless dish I've ordered, with a sauce that tasted like water. It was left uneaten

I had the duck pancakes which were lovely and had plenty of filling. For mains I had a chicken chow mein which was completely tasteless. My husband had chicken sweetcorn soup and chicken fried rice both of which were also tasteless. The chicken fried rice was also more sauce and vegetables. The chilli chips, which were ok. The size of the dishes were decent. I did try contacting them to see if this was a one off but got ignored. For the price you have to pay, I won't be risking it again

Who doesn't love a good Chinese?? Always love my food from Pagoda, qe regularly eat in or get takeaways. Staff are great too, Moishe is amazing and the owner Daniel is always there with a smile on his face ready to help you.

no experience, after being discharged from hospital i looked forward to a plesant meal and some take away, however there was a problem with UBER findind you, i know where you are but UBER refused to take me there insisting your old address was the correct one, pity really, please check that you have the correct address before you order a UBER, steve

Absolutely worst Chinese food I have ever tasted. The portions were small and was very overpriced. The salt and pepper chicken only have 6 piece in it. All the foods had literally no taste in them. The chicken tasted very weird and had a strange smell. Over all none of the food tasted good it was horrible. Do not recommend it. Waste of money.

Always a lovely experience! Came here for a date and we really enjoyed ourselves. Food is fabulous as always, service was quick and friendly Dim sum (beef) is and will always be by favourite food Shout out to moishy for doing a great job! Thank you pagoda we'll be back!

Overpriced and small portions. Ordered some starters and a main course of sweet and sour chicken which had 5 small pieces of chicken in it and was mostly sauce in the container. It cost me £13! The pancakes for the duck were all ripped. I guess its because it's the only kosher chinese in Manchester. No one knows any better. At least some of it tasted good.

Expensive for the size portions

We ate special lunch menu which at £16 consisted of 2 course meal which was delicious and great value.Service was excellent and we would highly recommend this restaurant.

Very good pepole&very good kosher food

Unfortunately not rated as high as I would have liked. Party of 11 during a quiet period. Don't understand why they insist on taking orders for starters only, then interrupt you while eating your starters, (for those that actually got them on time) and then ask you for your mains order 🤷‍♀️ One person left waiting for their food when others had finished wasn't good. Couldn't actually fault the food though.

The new manager moishh is extremely helpful ask around and see for yourself, He sorted me out with my order exactly what I asked for.

We had a really bad experience in this restaurant! One dish 20 pound... Dirty plates (not only one). It took us and the waitress really some time to find a clean plate. We should have gone right away! But than it got evan worse... cold soup, cold rice, and the worse thing was a meal included allergens although we told about the food allergy in advance!
