AVOID !!! SAVE YOUR MONEY!!! Arrogant, high price and deteriorating food quality. I’ve had quality triple cooked chips in a restaurant before, but don’t expect old chips tipple cooked “reheated” multiple times from local chippy, especially at prices they charge, it’s not the first time, but definitely the last. ridiculous prices on all meals for the quality you receive. No wonder they are not as busy as the once where, Sort your act out. Obnoxious prices with lacking quality

Cool place, nice food, but it is expensive, sadly, even just for a portion of chips.

Wow, the food from this place is amazing, totally worth the drive. Sorry for the presentation, but it was half gone before it hit my plate, seriously good food.

The prices are insane! Not worth it at all, you’re better off going to the full house around the corner and getting takeaway - just as nice and half the price. £4.50 for mushy peas - it’s actually shocking. You’re a chippy not a restaurant!! Even a restaurant wouldn’t charge that amount!

Portion of chips, bought last night where stale. These chips where obviously cooked the day before and heated up the next day! Shame because usually chips are gorgeous! Live across the road, won't be using again, so disappointed!

First visit here, very impressive. Best chips I've tasted in a long time: crunchy, flavourful; and cooked to perfection. Chinese dishes were excellent. Not the cheapest Chinese takeaway in Hoylake, but worth every penny. It's a cash-only establishment BTW.

Good quality food. Getting expensive since last price increase. They don't accept credit cards so cash only. Update - Prices gone up again Aug 23 - now much more expensive than other Chinese take always in Hoylake. Time to try somewhere else

Service is Good. The food is hit and miss; sometimes chips are cooked to perfection, other times they're soggy and overdone. The main issue is recent price increases. e.g a single portion of chips from £2.50 to £3.50 (a hike of 40%) with mains above £12 the prices are now too high, so unfortunately not recommending

Great takeaway. Curry is nice and strong and the salt n pepper ribs are awesome.

My husband and I have just had a order of yung chow fried rice and chips, very disappointed...half way through eating and found a hair couple of inches long all matted in a lump of rice ..... not happy at all been going there for years... won't be going again.

Probably the best Chinese takeaway in the Hoylake / West Wirral area in terms of food quality but unfortunately they are cash-only, which is inconvenient at the best of times, and poor during the Covid situation.

This place went from my #1 takeaway to now, my worst unfortunately. Prices have gone up and quality has gone down. I had to make some changes to a set menu (because of food allergies) and was charged £1 per change, bearing in mind the 4 person set menu is now £50! Much better options in Hoylake now, won't be going back.

The salt and pepper sui mai with some of their curry sauce is sublime.

Great food, both Chinese and English. Friendly owners. Always looks clean & hygienic.

Really good food but very slow when busy. Definitely phone ahead rather than waiting...

I've been a customer since day one but the quality and standard of this chippy has gone down so much. The fish used to be quality, sizeable and tasty. Now it's average white fish with hardly any texture. I recently ordered a portion of chips to get home and find the smallest over cooked chips I've ever experience. When I complained the owner put the phone down. Great customer service!
