Koop in Liverpool

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Terrible customer service! I have ordered from here multiple times in the past and it’s always been nice. We ordered today 20 boneless chicken garlic and Parmesan, all came with bones in and it is definitely not garlic and Parmesan. At first I thought it was blue cheese!! The person on the phone was very rude and abrupt. In the end they re sent our food with boneless chicken ( that again wasn’t garlic and parmesan) and they wanted the old chicken back that has been sat there for over an hour 🤮 not sure what their going to do with it. Please don’t waist your money

Ordered via deliveroo today. Milkshake was missing - rang them up and was told 'I gave it to the driver' os I said well the driver didn't give it to me what can I do? was told to f... off. Absolutely disgusting behavior. To make matters worse the chicken Caesar salad was a side dish size that should have been a main, fries and onion rings cold. I used to go to Koop on Bold Street in Liverpool once a week for lunch as I worked around the corner - knew the waitresses and chefs and everything was wonderful but whoever owns / runs it now its in Aigburth needs a serious re think of what they are doing - I wont be ordereing from there again I suggest you find somewhere else to go to too

Chicken was burnt and dry, coleslaw was from a packet and the chips were mediocre… very disappointing

I moved to Liverpool in 2020 and looking for new takeaways was a challenge. I’m so glad I came across Koop I loved the food their every order was a hit! Now that I no longer live in Liverpool really miss the food at Koop it was my go to takeaway.

We used to like Koop and tried it today, the food was awful. The garlic ciabatta was dripping with butter, soggy and tasted vile. Chips were awful( see pic) Will not order from here again!

I order from here three times a week ,always get delivered within 30 minutes wait .Followed order instructions ,food always comes hot out of the kitchen.will keep ordering from here .Thank you

Have ordered from koop since they opened in aigburth vale and have used bold street too for many years without issue. The most recent order, however, will be our last. We kept getting fobbed off when the order hadn’t arrived after an hour, an hour and a half, 2 hours. We were promised a 50% off voucher which never materialised and would not have encouraged us to order again anyway. Sorry to say that we won’t order from koop again after 1 terrible experience

We received our order with 2 items missing, we rang the shop to inform them and the girl kept saying the ‘boss made them’. We asked to speak with the ‘boss’ but he refused to speak with us. We asked why we received some of our order and not the other and they could not explain, they refused to acknowledge what we said and refused to rectify this. Also, in the half chicken we did receive there was a long hair in the middle of it. Will never go here again, all round bad experience.

Grocery order from Co op Liverpool Myrtle Parade ..left 1 item off bottle vodka Have been waiting 2 hours now for 2and rider to pick up ..there are lots and lots of riders in Liverpool .this should not be a problem keeps saying will deliver in 10 mins then time slot moves .crazy way to run a business

Been here a few times, have ordered the same thing several times with different results. the last time the shop forgot the flavouring on my fries and then insisted they were meant to be that way. It's a shame because they were really good a few times but risky if you want to know what your getting!

We have ordered from Koop on many occasions and been happy however our last order was nothing short of disgraceful. My husband cannot eat cheese we therefore requested a burger without cheese however it came with cheese on. We ordered 5 meals in total all were ordered with fries only 4 fries arrived. I ordered the steak ciabatta which at £9.95 the amount of steak I received was nothing short of daylight robbery (see photo). I raised a complaint with Uber Eats but their standard response was we will not offer a refund! Will NEVER order through Uber or eat at Koop again. Do not go here food is not worth it and if you are not satisfied there is no one who will hear your complaint!!!!

I ordered online, as the site said I could takeaway after 1pm, as did Google. I then travelled for 15/20 minutes to collect and the shop was closed! They dont answer the phone at all apparently. Eventually a member of staff opened the shutters (coincidentally) so I asked him what was going on, and he told me to f*** off! Truly the worst place I've ever visited. Dont go.

Called in for on the way home from work, fancied a nice chicken burger, however what I got was far from it! I ordered a grilled chicken breast burger and fries. The fries were soggy and the chicken burger was disgusting and I had to throw it away after 4 bites because it was full of inedible, chewy gristle. They hadn't prepared the breast properly and removed these bits, this is pretty basic food prep. I should have taken it back but it was late, I was annoyed the staff who served us had awful customer service and I suspected we would get no joy!

After a few weeks away from using Koop we returned for an order via Deliveroo. The food arrived promptly enough and the portions were the same good value. The problem is that feta has now been added to salad - and it had tipped all over my piri-piri chicken, and melted on it. I cant eat any type of cheese so unfortunately the takeaway half chicken had to go straight in the bin. Gutted and hungry :(

The chicken is lovely and most of the time they have special offers that make the most of your money. There is alot of variety and it is all freshly prepared.

Acaba de hacer un pedido en Uber come y accidentalmente presiona Cancelar de inmediato. Como Koop había aceptado la orden, me cobraron. Los llamé para explicarles la situación y me comentaron que era un error, así que todavía me gustaría recibir mi pedido solo para que me dijeran que el cargo no iría a Uber. Esta es una mentira descarada! La única razón por la que me cobraron es para que no salieran de su bolsillo. Realmente decepcionado porque he comido allí antes, pero no volveré a poner un pie si ni siquiera pueden ser honestos con sus clientes. Ahora estoy fuera de mi bolsillo debido a su codicia.

Tuvimos un par de salidas desde aquí y disfrutamos de la comida. Las dos últimas veces que hemos tenido que sacar el pedido ha llegado incorrectamente. Nuestro pedido llegó esta noche con 1/4 de arroz en la tina. Lo que solo parece que alguien haya comido la mitad. Muy insatisfecho y no volveré a utilizar esta compañía.

Así que aquí está la cosa: soy vegano, totalmente consciente de que esta comida para llevar tiene un menú dominado por pollo, pero como mi familia quería comida desde aquí, pensé que iba a rescatar una comida. Pedí la hamburguesa Hello Me sin el halloumi, pero lo que recibí fue solo una ensalada y un hummus entre el pan - sabía muy bien, pero dejaron el hongo portobello sin avisarme. Me gustaron sus batatas fritas, pero en general estoy decepcionado por el servicio que recibí. En el lado positivo, a mi papá le encantó la hamburguesa Dust Up para que los carnívoros no se desesperen.

I've ordered from here a few times via Deliveroo, and it's always very good. The portion sizes are massive and really filling. A fave of mine is the halloumi wrap and sweet potato fries. Not too unhealthy either!

i had the half chicken in the hot piri piri marinade and it was delicious also had a portion of boneless wings, i would recommend this place to anyone its much nicer than most takeaways.

I came here with my family last month after visiting the Terracotta Warriors exhibition at the World Museum.

I have been regularly ordering from Koop, and last night I phoned up for a delivery. I was told that it would be 45 minutes and asked would that be okay. I agreed, and then waited for my food. After 50 minutes it had not arrived, so I then called them up and was told it would be another 10 minutes. The time passed and still no food!! After 1 1/2 hours I called again only to find nobody was picking up the phone. I persisted with trying to get through and eventually after numerous attempts somebody answered. I explained that I had now been waiting over 1 1/2 hours for a take away, to which I was told “sorry we are really busy.” I suggested that they halve the price of the food for my inconvenience and was told “we can’t do that.” So I cancelled my order. I won’t be using Koop again!! Very Poor!!

Rude unprofessional management & staff don't waste your hard earned cash. Much better chicken places nearby

If you want a takeaway but have high standards then this is the one. Delicious peri chicken, burgers and fries and don’t even start me on the milkshakes. The Teaser (malteaser) milkshake is a firm favourite. The staff are friendly efficient and professional. Highly recommended.

The burger was dry and had no taste. As it was a takeaway, I emailed them and they refused to give a refund. Poor service, poor quality food

I really don't know where to start here, I'm am utterly disgusted and horrified by this establishment!!

Visited today sat inside for lunch food was very fresh and tasty, boneless buffalo wings were gorgeous all food was great and staff friendly. Ideal for a quick lunch would defo return.

We had lunch a few days ago, we ordered Greek Salad, chicken avocado sandwiches and smoothies. The Greek salad with Quinoa was really good with very generous portion! And thank you for giving us a free kinder Bueno smoothies it was delicious! We'll come back!

Chicken burger was very average so therefore overpriced and I had to pay 50p charge to pay by card! In this day and age you shouldn't be charged to pay by card when it saves them having to take money to the bank. Would have been better driving into town for a Nando's takeaway!

Been using this Koop for several months now and have always been very happy with the food. Service is also very good and delivery drivers are also very friendly. One thing that could be improved on maybe is the selection of the wraps/update the menu slightly. Would definitely recommend it though and will no doubt use again!

It's all a bit chaotic due to how busy it is but the staff work very hard and the chicken is very tasty at a good price. For a takeaway you will struggle to find better.

We decided to order a takeout from Koop and had it delivered to our home. This is the first time we've eaten here so I'm not sure how dining in compares with taking out however we were really pleased with what we received. Super fast delivery and really friendly service, plus 10% off the bill for ordering online. I had butterfly chicken (my only criticism is I ordered "medium" but it had absolutely no heat whatsoever) with rice and salad - nice to have a relatively healthy takeaway that didn't leave me feeling fat and guilty afterwards! Will definitely be ordering from Koop again.

Wings average, burger poor! What more can I say, chips ok, milkshake lovely. Heard great things , it just didn't deliver !

Got in late on Sunday night, had good friendly service and didn't wIt long for good tasty food. Will be going back again, pulled chicken ciabatta very good!

After a bit of confusion about how to access Koop's advertised 10% online discount the helpful staff member honoured this a different way instead. The food was amazing - generous portions and perfect for restoring ourselves after our New Year celebrations.
