Kong's Fish and Chips in South Norfolk

We visited on the basis of TA reviews and found the place to be a good chippy. The team are certainly friendly and focussed on all their customers, which is smashing. As well as the traditional fish n chip fayre, the menu has some specials which all sounded tasty...we'll try some of those on our next visit. My haddock and chips were fine, not a big portion but enough. Everybody else reported their meals were tasty too. Prices are reasonable and service is quick (and friendly)!

We are very lucky to live just around the corner from Kong's. The fish and chips and the chicken are excellent but the chip portion sizes could be just a tad bigger.

We are so lucky that this is our local chip shop. The food is always excellent, cooked fresh and delicious. The staff are always very welcoming and friendly. The Korean Fried chicken is always a treat

Very friendly and efficient team but most importantly the food is top quality. The chips were pretty spot on, crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle!

Absolutely outstanding, spotlessly clean through out, lovely welcoming friendly staff, food was freshly cooked served piping hot,generous portions, exceptional value , apparently quite a new business excelling expectations, various nominations for best chips shop etc would definitely recommend

Very tasty chips, we also gave the sausage and fish cake a try, this was our first visit and we were very impressed at the speedy service and prices..

It’s been a while since I visited so thought it worth another visit. Excellent fish and chips once again. Perfect crispy fish batter and delicious new potato chips. A great crew on the friers and welcoming servers. A happy and smiley crew. Definitely a great fish and chip shop.

Went in for a chippy lunch , and was asked about their Korean chicken . I was a bit sceptical at first , but oh my god some of the best chicken I have ever had . I really do recommend treating yourself alongside your normal chippy tea . Unfortunately no photos it was so good it was gone before I gave it a thought

Long heard of the Korean fried chicken by Kong’s Fish & Chips. Got some the other day and it certainly lived up to the recommendations - crispy on the outside, juicy and tender meat on the inside snd the sauce is magnificent!

Loved my Korean Chicken dinner and my wife lived her fish which wS cooked to perfection. Lots of free parking nearby. Friendly staff.

We'd seen Kong's Fish & Chips of Lime Tree Avenue in Wymondham listed in the EDP's top ten fish & chip shops of South Norfolk and they're definitely laudable. Having made a special trip, the KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) is outstanding and well worth a visit, but the fish & chips are great too. The shop was clean and bright and the team behind the counter was efficient and friendly. We'll return.

We’ve been before and are never disappointed but tonight we had the Korean Fried Chicken and the Tempura Prawns. The KFC was absolutely delicious, lovely, juicy chicken in crisp batter and the spicy sauce was banging! The prawns were crisp and tasty and the chips were fresh and just crisp enough… no soggy, anaemic chips at Kong’s! Fab, friendly service too!

Kings Fish and chips, not only do fish … they also do an excellent crispy Korean Fried Chicken. A lovely large bowl of skin on crispy fried chicken in a delicious sauce. Plus the must have chips,! A great takeaway meal …. Definitely recommend this dish !

I love this chippy, the food is always excellent and the staff are really friendly and nothing is ever too much trouble. No matter what we have ordered the food has been of great quality, but their Korean Chicken is especially delicious, the flavours are amazing. It’s our definite go to place for a takeaway. Thank you Kongs for a fantastic eatery.

Have had fish and chips several times and they are excellent every time.Just tried the Korean style chicken and wow,so good. Tasty food and amazing service.

Been a few times now to Kong’s. 5 star food quality every time , no soggy fish batter here! Chips were ace too. Generous portions so great value for money. It’s not all about the food either, efficient and friendly staff, and was served with a smile. You may have tried some of the rest , but now you need to try the best!

First time trying Kongs and thoroughly impressed by the quality of their food. We opted for their recently launched Korean Chicken with some chips. The chicken was amazingly good - light crispy coating and delicious sauce. Not too spicy and the chicken was juicy & moist. Very decent sized portion. The chips were good - tasted freshly cooked. We didn’t try the calamari or tempura prawns but these are on our list for our next visit which certainly won’t be long
