Hands down the best Katsu, ramen, steak and sushi in Hamilton. An amazing japanese fusion takeaway, with casual dining seating if you want to eat in. Which we love to do with our kids. Owned by a local family, that does the best steak or chicken Katsu curry in Hamilton, sushi. Their steak frites with chimichurri is always cooked to perfect. They also do brilliant, my favourite is the spicy beef ramen. If you haven't been, you need to give it a try, for us this is better than salt and we love the casual feel for sitting in.

This place is amazing and they gave Vegan Sushi!!!! my pregnant wife was litterally crying with happiness!!!!!

Katsu curry sauce was more like a Chinese curry sauce. Ramen broth wasn't of any standard never mind high. Everything expected warm was tepid. Burger was delicious and fries portion was generous. Sushi was excellent.

Price is comparable with salt. The quality is not. The portion sizes were ridiculous for the price. Leaving everyone still hungry. The Donburi was boiled rice (poorly cooked), with edamame. Hardly any taste to it. The yum yum sushi and gyoza were good. But i definitely would not recommend for the price or the quality. Disappointed to say the least

Food was delivered sharp, seems like not a lot but once it’s unboxed our plates were full! Nice and hot, really tasty food, nice and spicy and sushi to die for. We asked for a few things not to be included and they obliged no problem. Will definitely order again - top class!

Arrived early. Food was fresh and portions were big. The ramen was great as always. I think I’d get the sauce separate on my rice bowl next time though but that’s just personal preference.

£32 for two portions of soggy gyoza that were worse than I could do at home from frozen. Tasteless and bland yaki soba and greasy tempura prawn. Worst take away I’ve had in as long as I remember and we waited so long for it to come, well over an hour.

I Usually love to order from here for a treat due to the prices. However, tonight I was slightly let down by the quality. I always order the steak frites and the steak is medium rare. However, tonight the steak was well done and tough. Slightly inedible. It was very upsetting due to the price of the items. We did not get the correct drinks either. I will give Kokki another chance as I do love it but I was slightly disappointed by tonight’s quality of food.

Very expensive for the portion sizes. Small boxes for Katsu & prawn curries. No dip with the tempura prawns. Only 2 small sachets of soy sauce with 2 portions of sushi. No dipping sauce with the Gyozas either. Totally underwhelmed by the food this time. Don’t think we will be spending this amount again 😏

Purely professionals. The food here is amazing. Beyond compare. Try it, and see - but then do the company a favour and order through their website. Just-Eat robs the company of a percentage and these guys deserve the full price. Support the wee guys in this race. Absolutely love Kokki. You guys are always gonna be my main. This is not ramen. It cost £12. I don't know if the restaurant is good at other types of dishes, but it definitely needs to improve a lot with this recipe.

Absolutely delicious - highly recommend! Delivered much sooner than the estimated time, and the food was excellent. Great flavors, and everything was very fresh and cooked to perfection. The extensive menu will definitely have something for everyone.

Amazing! Firstly the couple in store were so helpful! My daughter is only 11 and discovering which sushi she loves and the man on the till was so patient and helpful and made she picked ones she would like. And then best of all, the sushi was delicious, especially the teriyaki chicken rolls! Will definitely be back as it was great value for money, we got 4 trays and 2 cans of juice for £26! Thank you!! 🙏🏼 It was so tasty we ate it all and never took and pics 🤤

Ive ordered a few times from here and its normally been great but unfortunately tonights order was shocking. The beef was inedible in the tacos (well over cooked and solid) which was a shame because we ordered these last time and they were fantastic. The chicken was extremely chewy and the noodle dish i ordered was really dry and tasteless. Usually I would say the higher prices are justified but definitely not on this occasion as most of the food got binned except for the sushi.

Sushi is always amazing from here always fresh and delicious!.. The choose your own ramen wasn’t. just like basic chicken soup and shouldn’t have cost as much wasn’t what I was expecting to receive when ordered it.

It is not the place for eat something. I wanted order sushi here for romantic dinner with my husband. Unfortunately it is very dirty there. The tables not cleaned, the floor is sticky, I will never forget the sound of my shoes when I walked there, we were afraid that the kitchen was just as dirty and we left. The staff looked at us like we were weirdos or intruders, because it was clearly visible that no one comes there, people only order food for delivery The entrance, colours and cleanliness level can be welcoming or repellent. I have never seen such a dirty place where meals are served. We were affraid to eat anything as it could be dangerous for health - bacterias, infectious diseases. Someone needs to read sanitary regulations

Ordered the spicy chicken ramen, steamed chicken & veg gyoza and furikake fries. Delicious all of it - and I’ve been to Japan! First time ordering this and pleasantly surprised, will definitely be back. Broth of the ramen was amazing and the chicken chunks so soft with not a bit of fat. Could have maybe done with a touch more noodles but that might just be me being greedy. Still though, very filling, couldn’t eat another drop!

The quality of some dishes including the beef tacos was poor. The meat was chewy. Generally underwhelming considering the price of the dishes.

Lovely meal overall although rice was slightly al dente, making it hard to eat. I’ve heard of sticky rice etc but this defo just needed an extra five mins. Lovely apart from that

Literally JUST finished my delivery meal & had to come on here to review… food was delivered bang on time, and was the freshest delivery I’ve ever received! I ordered the Philly cheesesteak and WOW it was roasting hot, flavoursome with lots of cheese and the chips were also extremely fresh. My husband ordered the miso ramen which was also very flavoursome and perfect for his wee cold! Always had amazing food from here but tonight just really hit the spot. Thank you! We will order again.

Absolutely appalling. Ordered tofu ramen and got hit with noodles, some sliced carrot in hot water. No other veg variation, no other flavouring. Completely appalled for the price paid.

Absolutely smashing. First time ordering and I was not disappointed. The roll was lovely and the mayonnaise is unreal. Chicken was really nice too. Wasn’t keen on the cucumber but that’s my own fault for not asking for it to be taken out. Will definitely be back for more.

We often order sushi from Kokki but decided to try their Street Food range, which was every bit as good. We had the Chicken Katsura burger and the Japanese Crispy Chicken Bagette, both came with a generous portion of triple cooked chips. The meals were delivered as if they’d just been served straight from their kitchen…fresh, crisp and full of flavour. Really impressive and of course will order again. A different class.

Food arrived no longer than 20 mins after ordered , sushi was brilliant and jumbo tempura prawns were some of the best I’ve had , sauce was missing tho but amazing all round !

This place is great. Sushi always amazing and fresh! However today we tried the beef tacos and I could barely chew through the beef it was so tough! Not nice at all. Our highlander sushi was also missing crispy onions. Think they might have been busy but still a bit upset as usually spot on.

As usually food was brilliant. I had the Philly cheese steak and I couldn’t even wait til I finished it to leave this review. So so so tasty. We have pork gyoza (extremely tasty and crispy also), and two different sushi’s which I haven’t tried yet but from my partners pleased expression I’m sure it’s excellent. Obviously hamilton is bit of a long drive from where I live but the food was still hot enough to enjoy! Driver was polite and swift too.

My food arrived much earlier than it did, which was a pleasant surprise. Taste wise - a bit bland for my liking, was missing that authentic touch you get with other Asian cuisine.

Too much vinegar put into the sushi rice. Crispy ingredients not crispy in the sushi roll.

No sauce with either of our meals so only had plain chicken and rice when that’s not what I ordered and an hour later than it was supposed to be delivered

Insane value for money on the sandwiches and burgers. 12 quid for a big sub and a heavy amount of chips, all cooked as well as it was? Absolute bargain.

I mean it wasn’t bad, I wouldn’t not go back. But have had far better from Salt and our ultimate favourite, Oishii. Would say portions are quite mean too, in particular the donburi and teppanyaki

It was a fantastic meal, loved the fried sushi and the rice bowl. The curry sauce was top notch and so were the fries but the seasoning on the fries was a bit spicy for furikake (compared to ones I have had before) so could be good to say in the menu how spicy it is. Great food though!

Sushi was great as always. Yakisoba noodles were ok, but I just can’t believe how tiny the portion was. Just a little kid size snack.

Food from Kokki is always amazing. The pink flower Uramaki is the best!

Ordered New York burger, tuna nigiris, salmon nigiris, ginger, soy sauce and wasabi The burger - absolutely stuffed and massive, delicious patty, greatly cooked bacon, lovely taste, I do have 1 problem the sauce was amazing but it would be nicer if you could cut back on the sauce not a lot but just a tad as I had mayo all over my hands other than that perfect burger so big I couldn’t even finish it! Nigiris - no comment as was only able to get a bit out of salmon nigiris before I had to stop eating as I was stuffed could tell however rice was fluffy and moist and salmon was fresh which is lovely to smell,see,taste and hear Personal note - lovely staff person on the phone also said they had an autistic child and decided to throw in free apple gyozas (which were sooooo good would defo have again) as to say sorry we closed when you put in your order which was very nice, only advice I would add is to maybe put the extras sauce wise in little plastic containers or atleast supply containers for a place to put sauces with getting them mixed up 😀

Went there for the first time. Ordered two rolls, can't remember the names, but for the price you pay it's not too bad. You get 4 rolls for the price shown, it's about £5 pounds I think. But rolls are quite big. Haven't tried hot food, but maybe I'll try it next time.

Disappointed late delivery this time Have had a few good meals from here Spoke to restaurant before posting got a “sorry” Fries overloaded with piri salt and not edible Gutted with restaurants response despite going out my way to contact them before posting review l. Not cheap enough to expect second hand quality .. Won’t be back

This is the first time we've ever had an issue with Kokki!!!... To NOT have the main thing I wanted and ordered... The king prawn Ramen... I'm very disappointed!!!... Not like it's a £1 thing that you could forgive or ignore.... It cost me almost £11, to order yet receive NOTHING!!!!... I've spent a LOT of money on orders with Kokki!!!... Please don't let me down and force me to find an alternative restaurant!!!
