Food amazing ... Service amazing

I liked it a lot!!! For starters we ordered: Vegetable rolls with shrimp, they were good but they lacked a touch of more flavor, for example in the shrimp that was simply cooked. The sauce that accompanied it was delicious! Bao bread with pork. It was delicious but it had too little filling, so it tasted more like dough than the filling. The delicious strawberry cocktail. The green curry was SPECTACULAR!!!!!!! ❤️ Friendly and correct service and high prices.

Some of the worst Thai food I’ve ever eaten. Greasy, overcooked mess. I think they spilt the wrong sauce in the Pad Thai it was sickeningly sweet. Ribs - dry and flavourless Pork bites - dry and over cooked. Chicken satay - dripping in grease. Shockingly bad.

Absolutely lovely. It was a great atmosphere, our waiter Carmine was lovely and very helpful. Carmine also helped up pick our dishes as we had not been before. The food was great too. I recommend trying thevpork belly bites. Would 100% recommend.

Lovely food and lovely staff. As someone who loves chicken fried rice their "Spicy Chicken Fried Rice" dish is probably the best I've had.

Great little restaurant! The staff , Carmine, Bailey & Pam, were all excellent. The service was great and the we had quite a variety between 8 of us and everything was delicious! Definitely recommend.

We have lived in BH13 for many years but had never visited so I took my parents here to celebrate Fathers Day. We placed our orders; my father being a vegetarian ordered a vegetable curry but was served a chicken curry. When my father queried this, the manageress retorted “Well I didn’t take your order did I?” We then had to eat our meal while my father was left waiting for his food. When the plates were cleared there was no apology and weren’t even asked how our meals were. My curry was over seasoned and more like a bowl of leaves as per the pic. When we left the manageress gave another sarcastic response as we left. I’m amazed how someone like that can work in hospitality with such a poor attitude. Perhaps it’s a boutique shop syndrome feeling elevated due to her position. Not quite sure but certainly won’t be back.

We’ve been here on a dinner and liked everything very much . Food is very tasty , nice atmosphere and amazing service! Carmine looked after us that evening and made us feel like home. Thank you so much guys for making our dinner special ☺️

Starter's lovely ... attitude from a member of the team in requesting extra sauce. Mains ok ...but duck was burnt of top and incredibly fatty underneath. Other main incredibly hot .. baldy cooked. The address states Sandbanks roaf, not road . Won't go again and will not recommend

I go solo and the staff and food are incredible . It’s old fashion customer service and the difference is the staff really care about the service and quality . Nothing is too much trouble

We haven't been for a while so thought let's go to Koh Thai! But unfortunately we didn't get as far as ordering a drink. we walked into an empty restaurant and I can see why. We were hit with the strongest toxic smell of bleach and what I could describe as toilet cleaner. we sat down and we couldn't believe the strength of this smell it was unbearable and made us feel quite ill instantly. The last thing I could think about was trying to enjoy our meal whilst feeling like I'm sat in a toilet that's just had a deep clean. Really off-putting and maybe something to focus on as it's off-putting to diners. So with that we didn't even order a drink and we left. disappointing.

Delicious lunch and great, friendly service from Carmine - lots of good choices available on the menu. It came quickly and take away boxes for leftovers were no problem

Worst katsu curry I've ever had. Chicken like rubber bullets and rice undercooked. And what is with this "optional" service charge added to the bill. Won't be going back.

The worst meal I have had. Seriously bad. Came to collect our order. made us wait an additional 10 minutes so we popped out, and when we got back they didn't know who we were 10 minutes later. the food is really terrible. the crispy squid is as soft and chewy and flavorless as anything you have ever eaten before even though we got home within five minutes of picking it up, the vegetarian katsu curry is absolutely Bland and awful and comes with a greasy sauce which seems like it's come out of a bottle from the back of a cupboard. the pad Thai is the most flavorless I have ever had. I can't imagine why this restaurant ever gets more than two stars..i never leave food. Didn't finish half of this . AVOID

I visited this past week and had a lovely experience. The food was amazing, I recommend the Pad Thai!! There was a nice atmosphere in the whole restaurant, staff were attentive and welcoming, was served by Bailey and blonde Scottish girl who’s name I didn’t manage to catch, drinks were great, food was amazing and we had a lovely time the whole evening!

Our first visit to Koh Tai despite driving past it every day and we now wish we had gone sooner! The staff were all friendly and welcoming with just the right amount of attentiveness. The food was superb, all beautifully flavoured and seasoned. This will be our "go-to" restaurant from now on and we are looking forward to working our way through the menu!

We went to this restaurant on Tuesday, it was quiet only 7 other customers. My husband chose the Green Thai Curry with pork and I had the Vegetable Pad Thai. Both dishes were delicious. We will definitely go back.

Food is fab the setting not so much. Staff just weren’t attentive, one refused to even address me so my friend had to order as she just stood staring at her the whole time. Staff had their kid there and another customer had a barky dog. Food was fab except the tempura veg, lacked the batter, portions small and prawn crackers not complimentary unlike most other Thai’s. Service charge added to bill. Think you should decide whether it’s a good service and whether you want to tip, unfortunately ours was not. Can’t fault the food but think staff need reminding it’s not a nursey and as much as I love dogs, pubs yes but restaurant no. Around a 25 minute wait between courses, was only 3 other tables when we came in. It’s not our first choice but sadly our other two favourites are closed on a Monday

A great place to hang out with friends and family. Pleasant and fast staff. Everyone liked the delicious food. In fact, the shrimp in the noodles were not very tasty to me, probably because they were ready earlier and they were put on the noodles, so they did not go well with everything else.

Early work Xmas meal, fantastic food, happy and hard working staff and Christmas music. We were a large party and everyone loved the food! Thank you Koh Thai.

Lovely cosy atmosphere and friendly staff, however the food was very average, especially considering the price, I appreciate thing have got more expensive recently however I would hope that that quality would stay the same. Unfortunately very disappointed by the experience. A couple of much tastier, and easier on the pocket Thai restaurants nearby that are well worth trying.

Visited Koh Thai Lilliput for dinner and were greeted by "Hey Baby" and other loud 'apres ski' music. We ordered one kids meal which is supposed to include and drink and we ended up being charged for the kids drink anyway. A pint of beer costs £6.75. When asked if we can reduce the volume of the 'apres ski' music we were told it wasn't possible. The food was very good but to be honest there are several other Thai Restaurants around that are just as good and much less pricey.

We had outstanding service - our waitress was attentive and helpful. The food was excellent. I particularly enjoyed the superb non alcoholic options - lots of mock tails and then a great range of exotic teas.

I love this little gem in the heart of Lilliput! Is my favourite Thai restaurant in the area! Staff is super welcoming and the atmosphere cozy and familiar, is the perfect place for a date or just meeting friends! The music is always right, and the lighting is matching the atmosphere to the right point! Sometimes gets really busy but the food never lose quality and the service always to the top standards!👌thanks Koh Thai for all the good times!! 😍

We went out with our family for a quick dinner on Tuesday. Yet another amazing visit. I have ordered a wrong dish however there was absolutely no issue for a manger to change it for me. We will be back, thank you

Yummmi food and delicious dishes

Mrs. Wife and I enjoyed a date night out. The service is great, the location is convenient, and the food is a delight. I recommend trying the spicy wings. These have a real kick.

Normally one of our go-to Thai’s but the last visit was a bit of a disappointment. We ordered some crackers and had to ask for them after waiting 20mins. The crispy squid wasn’t that crispy and we waited an hour for our main to come...

Good food an wonderful cocktails 😋

We took friends to Koh Lilliput. It was very average and lacked speciality. The day we went there were no drinks available on tap, everything was bottle only so much more expensive. The food was ok but not outstanding. The restaurant itself looks very run down and worn/tires which is a real shame. We were left at the end of our meal for a very long time without anyone seeing if we wanted to look at a dessert menu or order coffees etc. The staffs attention seems more focussed on an endless collection ordering service for delivery. It feels like it needs a refit and refresh.

Lovely food plenty to choose from and decent portions

Super friendly and helpful staff and one of the best green curry's I've had - just disappointed I choice to share it with my husband :). I wasn't keen on the flavour of the padthai but that's probably just my preference. The salt and pepper squid was pretty good too although a bit more pepper in the batter would be even better next time pls :).

The food and service were both first class, our only negative was a lack of sticky rice and Papaya salad! We would recommend the restaurant.

OK food, had much nicer Thai food elsewhere. They allow dogs which is ok I guess if they are well behaved. There was a big dog in there who barked everytime a dog came past. Made us jump everytine. Staff ok but not overly friendly.

Have been going to this place for 9 years or so just moved back into walking distance, annoying the manager or owner always has his dog in there that barks at everything and everyone, he then had a friend with a yappy dog last night, put me right off the place, I go for ambience not dogs barking!!

It was a spontaneous pick of this place as we were visiting Pool amd Sand Banks for the first time , we had great expiriance regarding food and taste of it , we have lpved evry single bite , untill the plates were empty ! Love it, our local haunt and there regularly. Consistent, great menu, never disappointed. Review updated (December 2022) - still going back there. Never had a poor meal and that's 10 years in. You will not be disappointed

The quality of the food is getting progressively worse. It’s more like a regular average quality Chinese whereas when it first opened you could see and taste the difference. For example - The noodles I had, had pre cooked chicken that was tossed onto the top of the noodles. No seasoning. Rubbery and grim. The ribs used to be delicious. Now they are fatty and average. Think twice before ordering as it’s full on pricing.

The food was amazing and the cocktails were even better, perfect espresso martini and an even better pornstar-martini. The barman was very friendly and the service was really good.

service was poor, food was cold, did not tip as they didn't even check in to see if everything was ok... staff seemed more interested on playing on their phones and chatting each other. we won't be back.

We travelled 1hr 30mins to meet friends and visit this Thai restaurant..... we were not disappointed. The food is unbelievably good, best Thai food I have tasted. The restaurant interior is warm, modern and inviting. The staff were professional, efficient and friendly. Diffinately will be returning in the future.

Decided to go out for dinner there as had ordered delivery a few times and the green curry had been very good. Starter was the pork, which was unfortunately tasteless and also quite burnt / dry, but the waitress immediately said she’d take it off the bill which was good. I had the chicken basil stir fry but the rice came on the plate with all the sauce so it was all soggy, would think it should come in a bowl separately with the egg on top. Overall would probably order again on delivery for convenience but not worth the 4 star rating in my opinion.

Visited Lilliput Poole on a Friday Night ... Food Exellent when it eventually arrived. Staff were great overall but no warning about delays and we had to keep asking for our food. The business seemed to be more interested in the takeaway side and the bar than people dining. Would order a takeaway, but would not return for dining. Shame as lovely place.

Byłam dwa razy. Warzywa w tempurze w porządku, kaczka wyglądała apetycznie, ale to tyle pozytywów, poprosiłam o sałatkę ze świeżych warzyw, dostałam parę listków sałaty, poszatkowaną marchewkę, cebulę i pomidora bez żadnego dressingu. Nie wiem dlaczego nie podają tam noży, mięso tak twarde i suche, że musielismy poprosić o nóż. Wystrój knajpy depresyjny, mało zachęcający, ciemno i nieprzyjemnie, do tego poszarpane poduszki i zniszczona tapicerka, przed lokalem chwasty. Takie miejsce chyba omijane przez klientów a obsługa raczej przyzwyczajona do pustki, bo kiedy przyszłam wszyscy byli na zapleczu i pi jakichś 15 minutach pani się zorientowała, że czekam na nią. Nie lubię wystawiać takich opinii, ale trudno doszukać się tam pozytywów.

일단 직원은 친절함. 커리맛은 기본적임. 단지 내용물이 좀 부실함. 똠양꿍은 절대 비추. 새우 비린내와 적은 내용물로 절대 비추. 가장 큰 문제는 자스민라이스가 죽밥이라는 것이다. 아마 밥을 실수 한것 같다. 물밥같은 밥에 커리는 정말 어울리지 않는다. 화장실또한 너무 지저분 하다.

If you like restaurants that serve tasty but tiny portions, combined with outrageous prices, this is the place for you. It used to be one of the best Thai restaurants that I have been to, with good value and decent sized portions. Since Covid, this restaurant has jumped on the bandwagon of 'shrinkflation' i.e. a lot less food plus higher prices. A glass of wine was £12 and avoid buying alchohol, to avoid 'bill anxiety' at the end of your meal.The food is still good and tasty, and apart from 'French cuisine' portions, also lacks the presentation and trimmings that used to accompany the dishes. Summary: This place used to be packed on Friday night and is now largely empty, due to people voting with their feet. Tip: Make sure that you go to Burger King afterwards, to ensure you don't go home still hungry.
