Cold welcome. The manager made us feel we were intruding. Limited vegetarian options. Had one expensive drink, cancelled order and left without eating. Manager did not want to know the reasons why we cancelled despite my offer to explain.

Chose this restaurant as in a quieter part just off the quay. Welcome was warm. The decor is lovely and the service friendly. The food was amazing. Flavoursome ribs which fell off the bone. Massaman Beef curry also gorgeous and nicely spiced. Vegetable Pad Thai best I have ever tasted. What a lovely meal!

Had a very enjoyable dinner here after a trip to Brownsea Island. Food was great, reasonably priced and the service very friendly indeed.

Not often I bother to review somewhere, but the quality of food and service we received tonight at this restaurant was awesome. Really tasty food, with quick and polite service, I had to take the effort to let people know and thank all the staff. We went for the Set Meal B, it was late and we wanted to eat soon, and I added the Tom Yum soup with mushrooms and chicken. Soup was delicious, you have to try this, and the starters and mains were all good. Spring rolls were packed with meat and flavour, I'd have been happy with just a plate of those and some dipping sauce, they were that good. Very reasonable prices and we were certainly full at the end of the meal. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in Poole. Thank you Flavour of Asia.

I was visiting Poole from London. I stopped by this amazing place for a Pad Thai and Prawn toast. Food was great and service was great. I really liked the decor of the restaurant, was really authentic.

We visited for the weekend from Bristol. The food was amazing and full of flavour. My wife cannot eat onion, so the restaurant cooked what she wanted without onion. Friendly People. The best Asian food we have ever had. Thank you. We will be back.

Absolutely delicious meal! We had the mixed combination starter for 3 and although at the time I thought 1 of each thing wasn't very generous, it turned out to be perfect as each thing was so tasty it was completely satisfying and having more would spoil the main course. Yum Nue- a beef salad-, honey roasted duck and the Pad Thai prawns with Jasmine rice were shared as our main meal and each was a treat. Perfectly balanced flavours and textures. We finished off with apple fritters with ice cream and Jasmine tea: a great meal out.

Just had dinner here, and so very impressed that wanted to review as soon as we got back to our hotel. Lovely restaurant with great decor, the staff are so helpful and polite. We had the combined starter and have to say the curry puffs were simply devine! They should be sold in packs by themselves for packed lunches; we would definitely buy. For mains we had honey chicken with garlic fried rice and chicken massaman curry with egg fried rice. Yum! Simply gorgeous and the best Asian food we have had the pleasure to eat in years! We will definitely be back on our next regular visit to the area.

A good mix of Chinese and Thai dishes with decent sized portions and authentic flavours. Ambient atmosphere and not too noisy. Seems like a family-run business. Prices are average for this kind of restaurant. Worth a try.

Flavours of Asia is a hidden local gem, and where do I even begin? The food is absolutely delicious, offering an extensive selection of scrumptious Asian dishes. The service is exceptional, and it's easily one of the best Thai restaurants in the area. My family and I are regular visitors, often opting for takeout, and we're consistently impressed by the consistently superb food that's bursting with delightful flavors. If you're craving authentic Asian cuisine, this is an absolute must-visit. Looking forward to my upcoming takeout. 😋

We have just left this wonderful restaurant while visiting the area, and WOW! At first look on the menu, I wasn’t sure as, being vegan, there is very little but don’t let this out you off! Definitely a case of quality over quantity with number of options. Staff are knowledgeable and and know what is in everything and the pad Thai option is unforgettable, something that should definitely be tried. It says it all that my 3 year old wouldn’t put her fork down! My partner is also very fussy and thoroughly enjoyed his squid and remarked on how fresh everything was. Staff were also very patient as we had a very active 2 year old way past her bedtime! Would recommended this place to anyone and will be returning if we are ever in the area again. Visited Flavours of Asia restaurant tonight and was sorely disappointed. The portions were small for the price, hardly enough to satisfy most people’s appetite. Moreover, the prices were high, making me question the value of dining here. But what truly ruined our experience was the front of house male waiter. Not only did he clear our plates while some of us were still eating, but he also showed no courtesy, failing to utter a single word or offer even a fleeting smile, ruining a family meal. The most shocking incident was when he carelessly tossed two pieces of cutlery into a bowl of noodles one of us was eating from without as much as an apology. Completely unacceptable behaviour for a restaurant charging those prices. However, the food was of a good standard and the female waitress was exceptional. Clearly used to apologising for her colleagues impoliteness. Would not recommend.

Great Thai and Chinese restaurant on the High Street. The staff are very friendly and the food delicious. Really can’t fault our visit there and so much choice on the menu made it difficult to choose. The crispy duck was my highlight but as a party of four we all enjoyed our meals. Will definitely return when back in Poole

We don’t frequent this establishment as much as we used to since moving 200 miles north but when we do return it is always the first meal on our list!! It is always a treat to come back to this traditional family run restaurant. Everything is as a good restaurant should be, with the food being the star. Mixed Thai and Asian menu so something for everyone. We shall return as soon as we can! Well worth a visit - you won’t be disappointed!

We booked this restaurant for our first night in Poole. When we arrived it was very quiet and we wondered if we had made a mistake. However, the food, service and drink were all excellent and we would definitely recommend.

We went on a very quiet evening so wasn't much atmosphere but the place is lovely and it meant we were served extra fast. The staff are great and very welcoming and the food is absolutely outstanding. I'd I lived close by I would definitely make sure I ate there regularly.

Have visited this restaurant twice recently and have really enjoyed the food on both occasions, tastes really fresh with perfectly cooked vegetables within each dish. Will definitely go again.

We had an amazing birthday meal for 11 people here on 27/04/23. The food was fabulous and service was superb. Ming and his staff put up banners and balloons without being asked which was a lovely surprise. This will be our go to Thai restaurant in Poole from now on. Turned up unannounced with 3 work colleagues, received a warm welcome and shown to our table quickly. Drinks orders takedn and delivered swiftly followed by the mixed starters. Intermediate of roast duck and then 4 main courses. All outstanding flavours, beautifully presented and the lady who served us was polite, informative and extremely helpful. Value for money in terms of portion size and taste, again, outstanding. Nothing to fault at all here, hope the business goes from strength to strength as it's so well deserved. Worth travelling 60+ miles just for the menu. Great selection and great quality authentic dishes. Service impeccable. The recommend list doesn't cover half the menu but that it a Google limitation

Ate a set meal ( A) on a early April dull Friday night. Did not book, but there was no need! Food of good quality, service 👌 but restaurant lacks atmosphere due to limited patronage. It is a pity that the present uk financial situation has reduced eating out for the general public! There is not an easy answer for the public or restaurants. I hope local people and councils can help in any way or the heart of the town will be lost.

This is run by lovely hardworking people. Could do with some Thai background music to give it a bit of atmosphere and choice of chopsticks . The food is full of flavour and good quality. Not fancy but taste and good. Possibly a bit more chilli but otherwise couldn't fault. The service is good just needs supporting by more Customers. No frills but good honest quality and flavours

First time in this restuarant. My friend and I are both vegetarian. Warmly welcomed and shown to a table, great service , ordered drinks came quickly. I had vegetable pad Thai, my friend had a vegetable green curry with . We both had tofu added on request. My Pad Thai was simply delicious, the vegetables were perfectly cooked, crisp and crunchy peppers and carrots, softer mushroom, perfect tofu. The whole dish had a complexity and depth of flavour that I had not had with "typical " Pad Thai. The plate was presented beautifully. The portion size was perfect. My friend really enjoyed her green curry too. By the time we left the restaurant was full. Not surprised as the food was so good. Will definitely be returning.

Friendly and very attentive staff. Drinks arrived straight away and complementary prawn crackers as well. Sharing starter for two - chefs delicious picks of 2 x 5 similar to tapas! Mains arrived after a few minutes after starter has been cleared. Food very good, nice and pleasant atmosphere, happy to return and recommend it! Thank you 😃

Another great evening at Mings. This occasion an Elvis tribute night with a special menu. We had a really great evening. The food was, as always, outstanding. Ming and his family are wonderful hosts and always make us feel welcome. Highly recommended.

Me and my partner have been eating here the past 2 and a bit years. So our review has been well overdue. We absolutely love this restaurant and have eaten at lots of Thai restaurants, but Flavours of Asia is our favourite and is family run. We live in Weymouth and are happy to make the drive just to eat here as it’s really worth it. The staff are always friendly and the owner Ming is always very happy to see us and makes us feel very welcomed 😊 The restaurant is always super clean and during the craziness of covid, their restaurant was the best for following the guidelines and going above and beyond to make sure everything was done in a safe manner which made you feel relaxed to be out dining. The food is very authentic and the flavours each dish has are amazing. My partner loves the satay chicken and can’t find anywhere else that does as tasty a satay chicken as they do. Everything we have tried is always very good, the portions are a great size too we always have enough for leftovers for the next day. If you like Thai food or Asian food in general this restaurant is the place to come to! They have plenty to choose from and very good vegetarians options too! Would highly recommend! for us it’s 10/10 and is one of our favourite places 😊🍽

A really nice restaurant with authentic Thai food. Beautiful atmosphere and a unique experience. The table service is also excellent. Food carried complex flavours, at a quality rarely found in the UK—in our experience. Our table agreed that they felt that the chefs had carefully chosen fresh and good ingredients. However, I felt that the menu could be a lot clearer and straightforward, specifically the set menu options. Set menus were presented as £23 and they say "minimum 2 people", so we thought this meant a set item is for two people, at £23. But when the bill came, we were charged £46. I think they should have said a set menu for 2 people is £46, and left it there, as that is a lot more clear cut. I imagine this might catch a lot of people out if they interpreted similarly to us. Nevertheless, would recommend.

Terrible experience with a really rude waiter.. Had the audacity to comment we were dawdling over the food and accusing my son of not finishing his food on time... Considering we were the only customers there..and stopped just short of throwing us out physically...

Sailed into Poole Quay Boathaven Marina this evening and ordered a takeaway from Flavours of Asia. It was the best Thai meal we've ever had. Anywhere. Absolutely top notch Thai cuisine, thoroughly recommended.

We visited for a birthday meal and found a warm welcome and polite staff. The food was delicious and we'll presented. Soft shell crab, salt and pepper squid, dumplings, Choo chee curry, and pad thai were all fantastic. I would highly recommend.

We ate here last Monday evening. The aromas as you enter the restaurant set the scene. We had Pad Thai and a selection of Asian bits as a side including incredible ribs. Great portion sizes, fresh ingredients, fantastic service. Would highly recommend.

Ordered green and red curries which were fine. Ordered 2 Pad Thai noodles for the kids. Noodles were awful, kids did not eat them so offered to pay for one noodles instead of a refund. Owner refused, hence the 2 stars. Not visiting again anytime soon
