Kitty O'Shea's in Edinburgh, City of

Después de buscar por todas partes para la cena y buena música en vivo nos topamos con Kitty O'Sheas. Desafortunadamente, nunca cenamos, porque la música y el ambiente era muy divertido que no podíamos dejar! El personal era amable y servicial (sin cena, así que las jarras de agua con nuestras bebidas se agradeció mucho) ! La música era increíble y todos bailaban y cantaban y se lo pasaban muy bien. Si estás buscando un pub irlandés súper divertido, ¡tómate el tiempo de pasar por aquí!

Sábado a partir de las 2 pm le dicen que algunos ha reservado su mesa a las 8 . 30 pm, dirigí pubs yo mismo gestión vergonzosa y respuesta espantosa

Absolutamente terrible lugar! ¡Cuando era joven, el personal masculino me empujaba físicamente por la puerta! Estaba cumpliendo totalmente con las normas del pub y la hora de cierre a pesar de que mi amiga había perdido su teléfono y sin ayuda fueron empujados físicamente a la puerta con absolutamente ninguna ayuda. Comportamiento asqueroso y personal asqueroso y no recomiendo a nadie. ¡Mantente firme!

Tuvimos un tiempo increíble aquí! Volví dos veces para nuestra estancia de tres noches en Edimburgo. Gran vibra en la tripulación. Me encanta el hecho de que hay música todas las noches!

Diría que sin temor a contradicciones esta fue la peor pinta de Guinness que intenté beber en mi vida. Tengo 73 años.

¡Lo pasé muy bien! Es un bar encantador y Oscar en el baño de caballeros vendiendo después del afeitado y fue tan encantador y me hizo sentir bienvenido. Definitivamente lo recomiendo para cualquiera que busque varios bienes.

Lovely atmosphere, our server Euan was a gem and so helpful. Definitely recommend. The bar staff helps with any requests, the best in Edinburgh.

Be aware this is the wild West!!! Absolute mayhem. It's great to see people having fun however, people were falling over tables drunk dancing with pint glasses in there hands on the dance floor.... And as for typical Irish music, not a hint!. Typical rowdy bar suited for large groups. Staff were very good to note..so not all bad..

Went in on a girls trip to Edinburgh for a man with a guitar and well priced drinks & wasn’t disappointed! Had an absolutely fabulous night & the entertainment was 10/10

I called in advance to book a table to watch a football match, and was assured it would be played, and that we would have a table. Half way through the match, the waiter informed us that the table we were at was booked, and I told him we had also booked and that they didn't take bookings. So it was interesting to see all the tables around us saying "RESERVED". We then had to stand near the bar, where the TV screen was blocked by a table of five, who were basically blocking the screen. No food, rowdy crowd and staff that were running around and not really paying attention to customers or anything we said to them. In the end, we left ten minutes before the game was finished as we had had enough.

It was awful, and clearly they did discriminate against the disable. My friend is disabled and can’t walk. The bouncer said and quote “if he can stand on crutches tell him to get to the back of the que”. My friend has a serious disability meaning he cannot walk without aid and this has majorly affected his mental health. The bouncer was wearing a t shirt and was over weight.

Absolute rubbish! Downloaded the drinks menu on their tables and decided on a pitcher and two baby guinness shots only to be told they dont do them 🙄 Argued with the bartender to no avail. Decided on a pint of guinness and a gin and tonic, only to be given a hugely watered down gin and LEMONADE! Absolute trash. Wont be back.

After our staff Christmas party we wanted to get a sit down for a few more drinks, the guy on the door Mike was more than happy to help, got 8 of us seated and watered with no fuss and with a friendly character about him. Live music, great atmosphere, and not a long wait for drinks, 10/10 recommend!

Showed up at 11.45 on a empty Thursday with friends. They told us to go down to a sister bar down the road until 00.30 and we would be let in. Come back at 00.30 and the bouncers pretended not to know us. Bouncers were clearly on some power trip for some reason. Tried to level with them but they weren’t having any of it. Do not support places like this that are hostile and completely misleading to potential patrons. Being Irish I feel so ashamed that this is associated with Ireland. I couldn’t recommend anywhere less in Edinburgh.

Booked the Guinness Room about 6/8 weeks ago for a party of 10 celebrating a 60th, for our after lunch drinks. Staff were incredible - so friendly, helpful and very chilled, keen to help, happy to do whatever they could for us. Decorated the room for us with the banners/balloons etc. we delivered ahead of time, kept the cake cold for us… happy to have us show our slide show of photos on the tv in the room - even the band in the evening played a song for our birthday boy. It was the night of the England France game, and the place was heaving, and by the time we staggered away we were easily old enough to be the parents of everyone else there, but our wee room was a haven, our own little oasis, just perfect, with the madness outside it. Bar staff were excellent all night - cheerful and efficient despite it being three deep at times. Door staff were calm and warm, even, I noticed, when gently telling a very wobbly chap that his night was now at an end. Huge thanks to everyone at Kitty’s Edinburgh - we had an absolutely brilliant day. Merry Christmas!

Myself and my boyfriend were in Edinburgh for a weekend and had been out for food in the queens arms next door, we were recommended kitty o Shea’s by staff there. However when we began walking down, (I was in slightly heeled boots) my boyfriend took my hand to assist me as the steps were slippy, we were greeted by a bouncer whom gave us a look which made us feel so uncomfortable , he then proceeded to ask us for our ID. No problem I handed him mine a provisional license and my boyfriend handed his, an age card which is Gaurds approved and the most acceptable form of identification in Ireland when we were told this bouncer personally did not accept age cards. I tried to explain that it was identification card in Ireland and I was passed off and spoken back to like I was a child! My boyfriend is a very tall man , whom plays international rugby, (he does not look below the age of 18) but I know identification is required. Considering this is an Irish bar and most of the staff working were Irish I was shocked to hear that an Irish form of identification wasn’t considered. My boyfriend had another form luckily but to which we did not stay longer than one drink as we were both appauled and embarrassed by the treatment we had received. The staff inside were great and the music was class but it put us off the pub for the duration of the trip. I work in a much busier bar compared to this in Ireland and never would someone be treated this way on busy night with friends let alone a quiet evening for a couple.

There are some pretty bad reviews written here but our experience was a pleasant one, arriving around 9 & managing to secure a table in the small room to the left of the bar, if you’re wanting to talk it’s probably not the best venue as it’s really noisy with live music which from recollection started about 10.30 on Sat eve, it was a male solo artist with a great repertoire of tunes & a decent voice. It’s a popular spot frequented by many young party goers so you feel your age a little but hey give it a go & don’t leave it too late as when we left at midnight there was a large queue of people waiting to enter! Something new I spotted was a mobile phone charging bank on the bar which costs £1 for 1 hour. So for those young uns who can’t bear to be off their phone, you’re sorted lol!

Came to Edinburgh for a stag weekend, drank in a dozen different establishments and this was by far the best. Great beers, brilliant service and amazing atmosphere. Singer was brilliant and got everyone up singing along and dancing. Well done guys see you next visit 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 🍻

my friend got his REAL driving licence stolen and it was so dark in there my friend tripped up on a sausage dog due to the terrible lighting. the queues are shambolic and far too long it took 20 minutes to get served. The stools are too high my mate Sidney fell off, even though our first time we met a famous footballer.

i was out for my friends birthday and was stood at the bar waiting to be served. I had worked all day and had arrived 20 minutes prior. the girl next to me was offered water and poured it on the floor, the manager at the time with brown hair accused me, of pouring the water on the floor. I did not know the girl beside me. nor did i have the intention of getting involved in her plan. the girl serving decided to “cut me off” despite my recent arrival and accuses me of being too drunk. I am appalled by the service recieved despite the long relationship with kittys for my staff night out. i wont be attending again.

Went on a Sunday 'night' around 00:30 and the vibes were amazing. Live music, quite packed, had to wait in queue but went pretty quickly. Bar was busy, took a bit to get drinks but
