Excessive price. Food was ok, but took 15 minutes to find a table and 20 minutes to get food. This is not viable for airport. Needs someone to manage the table situation rather than allowing people to just walk about. A simple wait here to be seated system is really needed. Atmosphere is as expected, around 80% of the people just looking for a pint at 6am

Pizza mejor relación calidad-precio que mi pasta Alfredo ayer, la pasta estaba deliciosa, pero los ‘4 rashers extra de arce - tocino curado’ se parecían a 2 , 1/2 rodajas. ¡Un poco flaco! Este es un Wetherspoons estándar y fue como esperaba. En un aeropuerto la elección no siempre es buena y los precios de las plazas pueden ser un poco altos. Con cucharas sabes lo que vas a conseguir. Una pizza bastante decente que no sabía congelada y una pinta por un precio razonable en el aeropuerto. Barato y alegre.

We have been here before a number of times, and it has been really very good/excellent. This visit (16th December 2024) was awful. I have never encountered a ruder staff member anywhere in my life and when I asked to speak to a manager I might as well not have bothered, I even doubt he was a manager!!! I ordered a pint of Corona, a pint of diet coke, and a pint of water. The coke glass was filled with so much ice you would have barely got a 1/2 pint of coke and when I asked for some ice to be taken out she just threw all the ice into a sink. I was given an empty glass for the water and told that the tap was at the end of the bar. I asked which end of the bar and she just screamed and pointed “that way”. Not a “Thankyou” anywhere in sight either!!! The manager eventually came over and was bullish and interrupted me as I spoke to him. His response “we are all under pressure and I’ll have a word with her”, no apology of any sort. If this is the standard of the staff they are now using I’d just avoid and go elsewhere

problems filling a glass of beer... only foam came out... beer not cold, not fresh but at room temperature... undrinkable!!! I asked the barman he told me it should be drunk like this👎

Just ate there today paid €27 for 2 pastas the food was not even edible,

Terrible service, rude big guy behind the bar took my payment then barked at me when my choice of beer went off. No apology, no option ect an inferior beer. Didn't even acknowledge me plonked the pint on the bar.

No hay nada especial en esto Wetherspoons. No tiene un menú normal: no hizo halloumi, cántaro de lluvia morado, curry normal que es un shock. Estoy seguro de que hay una razón para esto, pero no exactamente genial tener uno de sus restaurantes con menú limitado. La mujer de la parte exterior de la zona de estar era miserable. No sonrió, no habló, simplemente no parecía que quisiera estar allí. No es exactamente lo que quieres ver al comenzar tus vacaciones. Parece muy acogedor, pero no tuvo una experiencia maravillosa mientras estaba allí. La cerveza (IPA) se servía a temperatura ambiente, pero me explicaron que esa era una diferencia cultural con los Países Bajos. Lo acepto, aunque creo que la parte de temperatura ambiente en el tanque y la temperatura de servicio deberían ser cosas separadas. Lo más extraño fue la percepción de dos cervezas belgas paradas en el mostrador durante veinte minutos que luego se rellenaron para servir a los huéspedes. Esto es para ser honesto bastante asqueroso y no una manera aceptable de tratar una Stella Artois normalmente deliciosa. El personal era bastante agradable, pero la recarga de tazas parecía bastante normalizado incluso con el gerente.

Good choice of drinks plenty of places to sit not stupidly priced like airport places can be!

Freya was our server and she was absolutely amazing. One of our children wanted to exchange the food and she made it possible in no time. Thank you very much Freya! Pricey, limited menu, but airport and expected.

Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I received at your Wetherspoons branch in Edinburgh Airport on .09/10/24. I ordered a pizza, but when it was served, I found it was unsliced. I politely asked a member of your serving staff to slice it for me, but I was surprised to be informed that there would be a £1 charge for slicing the pizza. I cannot believe it’s even something someone has to ask for when ordering a pizza!? To add to my concern, the staff member insisted that this charge must be paid in cash, and card payments were not accepted for this particular request. This seemed highly irregular, especially in an environment where card payments are typically encouraged, particularly at an airport. I found the situation both frustrating and unprofessional, as I would expect such a basic request to be part of the service, especially in a restaurant. Furthermore, the insistence on cash payment raises concerns regarding the legitimacy of this charge. I would appreciate it if you could investigate this matter and provide clarification on your policy regarding food service and charges. I trust that you will take this issue seriously, as it does not reflect well on the high standards Wetherspoons is known for. I look forward to hearing from you.

Fine for a drink before your flight.

The staff couldn't be more unmotivated. The table we sat at was dirty. We asked an employee, of whom there were more than enough, to clean the table, without answering she carelessly cleaned the table and left out the sticky spots. You still have to be grateful to be able to order. The food also waits under the heat lamp for 10 minutes until someone feels like bringing it to the table. Food was ok

Beans on toast .. inedible. Couldn’t even eat them and sent them back. No refund. Food quality terrible and poor service.

4am start, queue from one side of seating area to the other but staff got through it quickly, food was ok, not the best but enough to see us through to getting on holiday. Place was jumping at 4am, long day for the staff, the do a good job, treat them well.

Truly awful. Stowed out because staff there never ask those who occupy tables while waiting for their flights, to move on and let someone else have a chance. And their prices are extortionate when compared with what they serve up

Grabbed a quick pre-boarding cuppa. It's always sad when you're given an empty mug and have to go make your own brew! They boast free unlimited refills, but realistically who wants a full bladder before a flight when you have to disrupt two strangers next to you every time you need the loo.

So here i am setting off on holiday, stopped here for food and drink. I ordered a pizza for g/f and a burger for myself. It came within 10 minutes. Pizza looked ok, i seen the burger coming from 20 yards away , i said food is coming, burger looks crap. I was right. Pathetic excuse for a burger. 2 dry burgers, very very little salad. I will not be back here to order food !!!! My advice ----- if you want a burger here go to burger king , at least you know what to expect !!! POP. pissed off passenger

Cheap for an airport and fast - prices are cheaper than other options at the airport - food is very tasty (I had a Ramon noodle 🍜) - service was very fast - toilet available

1 person taking orders & serving drinks & just served customers in a random order....waited 15 minutes to be served as he served at least 4 or 5 people who arrived after myself & the man next to me. Even when I asked politely if we could be served as we had arrived before the others I got ignored & he carried on serving others who had arrived later

The food is overpriced and not good. The only positive thing I can say is that the waitress helped us nicely when our order didn't go through the app. The fact that the order didn't even go through is of course also rather negative. I think we got to the worst restaurant in the airport

Food was decent although even by airport standards it was extortionate. Scary thing is this is meant to be the cheapest restaurant at he airport. Restaurant itself was like a cattle market and far too hot, quite an uncomfortable environment and not one to relax before your holiday, especially when you have spent all your spending money here before you have even flown out because of the prices. Staff were decent and service really quick, I don't envy them working here every day.

Don’t waste your money here on the food. Tastes like as if they purchased it straight from the ready to eat section from grocery store and reheated it. We ordered chicken tikka curry and the katsu grilled chicken.

Buen lugar para comida barata antes del vuelo. El personal era amable y resolvió un pequeño problema con el orden. Las patatas fritas eran preciosas, los niños disfrutaban de pepitas. El vino era agradable y en general familiar.

I enjoyed it for what it was, a Airport Wetherspoons. Much higher prices, but it was still the cheapest and best place to be before boarding our plane. Service was pleasant enough and fast. The atmosphere amazingly good considering your only squeezed in a small unit at a busy Airport . Food looked fine.

Not too bad!! Coffee comes from the self service automated machines, which isn't great as you can imagine. The porridge and fruit was very very good. 😀

The staff on duty today 19th of July were unhelpful. I have never been compelled to drop a bad review till I ate there. No one wanted to help with enquiries until I choose a very bad meal. I am gutted

Just had one of the worst fish and chips I have ever had in the UK here. And I paid £16 for the (dis)pleasure.

The worst experience ever. DO NOT GO THERE. I arrived at 9pm at this pub intending to have dinner as my flight was delayed for + 2 hours. I was sat there for 20 minutes, no one came. When I tried to order food they told me I had to use a QR CODE instead or registering my order. After 10 minutes trying to make it work and they told me the kitchen was closed. CONCLUSION: THEY JUST WANTED ME TO GO AWAY AND NOT SERVE ME FOOD. WHAT DOES A SERVICE AT THE AIRPORT DEPARTURING GATE SERVE FOR IF NOT TO FEED CUSTOMERS. SHAME ON YOU!!!!!!!

En route to Berlin, this was a quick stop to grab some breakfast. We managed to find a table (with an element of luck). We ordered three small breakfasts and some hot drinks - no delay with the service, the food was cooked fine and the free refills on the hot drinks were good value for money. It was exciting to be part of the atmosphere pre-Euro 2024, as there were a lot of us Germany bound for the first game!

We came, sat down, and ordered drinks, but they were incredibly slow. The waitress came to our table several times, asking us to leave as instructed by the manager, even though our drinks were supposedly on the way. I explained this to her, yet five minutes later, we were still waiting for our drinks, and she continued to ask us to leave. This was beyond rude and unprofessional. I then asked for a refund, but they finally brought a drink after that. The staff was extremely rude, and the service was the worst I've ever experienced. I won't be coming back, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

I had the bacon cob with haggis and I have to say that it was delicious. Although the prices were quite expensive, seems to be around the same price as other close by restaurants so please don’t go to sound thinking you’ll get a cheap meal!

Virtually no service, employees unmotivated and unfriendly, tbh I don't know what so many people actually have to do here? No orders are taken at the table, only food is delivered after ordering at the bar or via the app. The food is outrageously expensive and the portions are tiny. The only positive thing is the beer, but that can only wash down the bitter aftertaste to a limited extent.

Honestly, one of the worst airport restaurants on the globe. It's dirty, the staff are rude and on their phones. They overcharge for garbage product. Save your money and walk a away to somewhere else. You will have a better experience steps away at burgerking then this horrible place.

Lunch before my holiday. Staff were happy to clean the table for us. Food was okay and came really quickly. Leah on the bar was lovely !

Came here about 0900 for a breakfast, went for the small breakfast and glass of orange juice. £9.60 for the small breakfast (paid extra £2.20 for black pudding as that was not included) £2.20 for a glass of orange juice. Price are expected to be a bit more as it’s the airport. Was not busy and was served within 10 minutes to my table after ordering at the table. Staff seem friendly enough. Large area for seating, expect it can get really busy here

Did come for a glass of wine and nibble before flight. My teenager son wanted a Burger King and I wanted company having wine. He was asked to leave. He was about to finish his burger. Politely has left but I won’t be back again. It is not we took place without ordering anything. Just poor management.

If you get an item with more than one component, there’s a good chance the “chef” will forget at least one or two while he’s microwaving it up.

I was served by 2 very pleasant ladies at the bar. The outstanding member of staff was the chap who brought my food. His approach to service was leagues ahead of what you normal get on the UK. He was American and treated me like I was royalty. He was extremely polite and puts to shame the normal standard of service you get on the UK.

Always love visiting here when I’m jetting off somewhere abroad. The staff are so friendly and attentive, even helping out with tea for my sister in law who has back problems, bringing it over to our table. Food is delivered promptly and is fresh and hot, bar staff work really hard to keep the bar as clear as possible from queues. Keep up the good work everyone x

Bought Guinness. The guy who poured it, literally took less than 1 min to pour it completely without even waiting it to adjust. The taste- Zero Such a disappointment . Felt like daylight robbery for a pint £6.50

It was a terrible experience. I was waiting for a long time to order behind a women that was ordering, when she left I proceeded to order and the cashier told me to go to the line. She saw all the time and just decided not to tell me anything until the end, after the line was even longer, she had a bad attitude too as if I wanted to jump the line when there was no signs of the line and the personnel is quite rude. This place is just terrible. I recommend everyone to eat in a different café or somewhere at the AirPort with a better service.

Zero, day of departure for France, we stop to have one last breakfast. We are 5 friends traveling. We decide to order independently. My 4 friends place an order, my turn arrives, it's 11:8 a.m. and the waitress dares to tell me in front of me that it's over, they no longer serve breakfast after 11 a.m. A shame !!!! She didn't want to know anything. At least my friends say it's not bad. Their burgers are small.

A busy bar, but still found seating without issue. Service quick via Wetherspoons app and staff, unlike in other reviews, friendly and attentive asking diners if everything was okay with their meals. All in all quick service, reasonable pricing (for an airport pub) and attentive service.

Just got back my holiday after flying from Edinburgh. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE. I was travelling with my 2 daughters and we had bought our second round of drinks at the bar. The minute we sat down the manager with blue hair had stormed over to us and demanded my daughter’s ID. Both of my daughters are age to drink and had already had a round previous. The attitude of the manager was absolutely foul and I have never been spoken to with such blunt disrespect, coming from an ex bar manager. We WERE paying customers and had she have been polite and respectful my daughters would have shown their IDs again, however with the way we were treated, we decided to pack up our stuff and head to All Bar One instead. Will do in future.

Go for Burger king.. seriously. They make you feel you are lucky to serve yourself, pay 40 bucks for a terrible meal and a beer.

The food was good overall . Only fault was the staff. The girl that first served us a pack of crisps three then at the table and stormed off. She later walked loops of the shop with her cower (both young) staring us down and laughing. Other than that the other staff to serve us were great . These two girls need a reality check in the world of service.

If you want just drinks you have to get them by yourself.

Service was good, but being an airport based pub, it was a bit more expensive than usual. No tannoy announcements in that part of the airport, so flights can get missed if you don't keep checking the screens. As my party discovered 🤦‍♂️

Airport Spoons, always busy here. Plenty staff who are always cleaning tables. I noticed the price gap in the airport to Spoons in towns didn't appear to be so huge.

Ramen bowl was amazing. Highly recommend. Friendly and helpful staff.

Tried for Mushroom Benedict and it was very good! Hollandaise sauce was creamy and superb! Muffin was so-so but poached eggs was OK. Though they have great food yet <10 mins serving time; they need improve serving flow. Like, idk how to order at first. No sign for “wait to be seated” nor waiter. Came out I need to order to the bar. And yap! Maybe next would be better!
