Looked absolutely amazing however, everything tasted microwaved/re heated. Especially the potatoes and Yorkshire pudding. The stuffing was the worst I’ve ever tasted. We didn’t really enjoy our dessert either, tbh. We’ve been to some great places for Sunday lunch at the same price or more - and this definitely wasn’t worth it. Staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was good so I’m a bit sad to say we left really disappointed. I’d come back but just for a drink, not food.

18 quid for 3 pints and the kitchen closed 45 minutes early because 'they're busy'. A hipster pub with no idea. This was a Friday night, they know how many tables there are, it's Friday, it's a warm evening, they've known all week it'll be busy...but the kitchen can't handle it. Poor staffing. In the words of the barman, 'the kitchen's closed, we've been slammed mate...'. very helpful. 👏 Oh, and when i asked if there is a menu at the bar, the barman, stuffing his face with a box of food at the bar replies 'the kitchen is closed as they've run out of food'. I mean, clearly.

Good range of beers, nice view of the river in the beer garden. Had good experiences with food in the past (really liked the pizza). Had pies and burgers on most recent visit, and was a little disappointed, as the food took ages to arrive, and was a bit tepid when it got to us. Would go back for pizza, but unfortunately wasn't impressed by the food on this most recent visit.

I went to the Bridge at the weekend and it was great to sit in the beer garden before seeing the group Madness. The service at the bar, even though quite busy was really good. We are five retired public sec tor workers who meet occasionally for lunch and catch up. Friends had recommended the Kirkstall Bridge Inn, so working on their say we went - much to our regret!! Arriving early for our booked 1pm slot we found that the bar at the car park level wasn't staffed and one of our party went up the steep stairs to order at the main bar. She had to carry the drinks to the lower level.... Looks like you hadn't done a risk assessment team Kirkstall. I say 'team' with some reluctance as there was little by way of being pleasant or helpful from the two staff we first met. Again we had to the upper lounge to place out food order. 2 x starters and 5 by mains Time line 13.05 Around 13.15 we were told that there wasn't sufficient pie to fill that part of the order and two of us asked for alternatives. A second round of drinks were ordered and as time was drifting along one of our party went to ask about the food We were told that they would check At about 13.45 the food arrived... yes, all of it together!!... there then ensued a discussion on how the 'team' saw timing... and that it was OK to bring everything at once. I found the two members of staff unhelpful and it was only when I told them we would eat the starters and could they please take the mains away until we were ready for the... It is never helpful when staff use the expression 'Je*** Ch****' as they walk away. When the mains did arrive it was a new member of 'team Kirkstall'... All three of the pie participants immediately said they couldn't eat the food because of the level of salt! Staff member 3 tasted the gravy and immediately acknowledged our complaint. To his credit he offered to get fresh food, but in all fairness having been there for almost an hour and a half. That member of staff treated us in a professional and courteous manner on a background note I feel it is reasonable to say the The K B I was not busy, maybe we should go back on a day when they are.

New to the area and had gone by on the bus a couple times, the beer garden always looked so inviting. So we booked in a Sunday roast - can do online or over the phone. Were originally booked in around 4, but were in the area earlier and decided to pop in and see if we could eat 2 hours earlier (annoying I know but we just wanted to see if there was space on the off chance). They were super understanding and accommodating. The food was amazing, came quickly and tasted amazing! The portions were huge!!! The staff were so lovely and attentive. Honestly couldn’t ask for more. After an amazing roast we had one more drink outside in the beer garden which was clean, beautifully put together and there were quite a few friendly dogs out there too, which is always lovely. Will be back!

Arrived with my 9 month pregnant wife and was met with a log jam of traffic in the car park. All the benches from the football the night before were left out and there wasn’t enough room to reverse and park in the spaces that were available. Fellow customers helped out trying to move benches so that cars could manoeuvre (all whilst being drenched by the torrential rain) I went inside to complain to the staff who were blissfully unaware that there was chaos in the car park and customers getting soaked. The response by staff was “are you sure there was no parking….?” This was followed by another similar reply before I walked out. The pub was clearly full with bookings so makes no sense why a dozen or so benches couldn’t have been stacked to accommodate loyal customers. Will not be returning again.

Good lesson - if it’s not right, don’t just eat it and say nothing!! We ordered food around 3pm - and even though no one else was eating it took about 45 mins to arrive, and when it did it was cold. I had to raise this with the staff as I was not going to pay ~£18 for a cold burger. The Chef was amazing as were the front of house team. He came down to personally advise he was replacing the whole meal as the dumb waiter apparently gets stuck! I must admit I was really looking forward to dining at the Kirkstall Bridge Inn as we don't dine out very often, when we arrived my first impressions were great music (70s) at the time we arrived. In my youth I frequented may boozers and I would class the Kirkstall Bridge in that category. Most of the clients were drinking and enjoying it as it was a great atmosphere. We opted for the Sunday roast and a starter. I was delighted when I saw chicken wings on the menue, sadly there were too few for the price paid and the BBQ sauce was very vinegary and cheap tasting. The main course the roast brisket was not so disappointing but I have had much better at a Toby Carvery. All in our four diners each with starters and mains came to just over £110 excluding drinks £143 including drinks . I would definitely return for a few drinks but as far as dining goes there's much better value out there.

This is an excellent pub, with one of the best beer gardens in Leeds - it's interior is lovely too. You know you'll get a well kept, well poured pint of cask. The food is difficult to comment on as the style of food (other than Sunday) does seem to change a fair bit. I don't know whether this is chef turnover etc but does seem to vary and can't really comment on a consistent quality I do think it was a bad move to allow dogs upstairs though. It has always been a dog friendly pub, with dogs outside and in the large downstairs area. But not everyone is a dog person, and having upstairs as a separate space was a good shout.

Firstly this pub is not wheelchair friendly the only option for dining really is downstairs which is dark and tables closed in together. The newly landscaped waterfront has no ramp either so only option is a table adjacent to the pub which granted is outside but not in the new landscaped space. To get access to the main upstairs dining area it’s up a very steep hill from car park. There was no service at the bar downstairs on our visit so we had to go upstairs to order/buy drinks. Having ordered the pie of the day, French onion soups and a veg bolognaise we waited in the dark for food to arrive. The pie - was tiny , pastry was very hard and tough, the filling supposed to be pork and stuffing was a really meagre smearing of tasteless paste like substance that had no resemblance to pork. The accompanying mash looked like a badly squashed up jacket potato trying to resemble mash and the greens were - mushy peas. All completely tasteless. The French onion soup tasted sour as though it had been past its should have been thrown away date. The veg bolognaise was declared “ok”. The only edible thing we got was a cheese garlic bread that was a side to veg bolognaise but it arrived 10 mins late- obviously the only thing made fresh to order. No check back on the table so we didn’t get chance to give our feedback, we left hungry and will never go back! Be warned.

We have been visiting this pub for many years both to drink their lovely ales and eat their good food. Its a cosy pub in the winter and perfect in the summer for sitting in the beer garden. Unfortunately since the retail park next door was built, whilst still a good pub its a victim of its own success. The roads around the pub are extremly busy and it is essential you book on a sunday for food. No seating for drinkers, standing room at the bar only. We don't tend to eat out through the week so cannot comment on how the food is, but Sunday lunch is always good, with ample portion sizes. It is dog friendly downstairs. Not something the pub can really control but at weekends (lunch time specifically) you tend to get a lot of families with young children taking up table space playing games (with noise) on their ipads, coupled with screaming babies. We were catching up with friends but could not hear ourselves think due to all the screeching. Maybe there could be an area in the pub designated specifically for families with young children to allow adults to enjoy their meals in a quiet and peaceful environment, as this has certainly put us off Sundays when with friends!

They had a shocker when we went for Mother’s Day, booked a table so they were aware of us in advance. We waited almost 40 mins for someone to take our order and then up to an hour for the starters to arrive - the soup had croutons on but when arrived they were soggy and the soup was cold. Then we waited around hour - hour and a half for the Sunday dinners. They were lukewarm and quite bland to be honest. Deserts were very nice! The staff were also really apologetic and understanding as we had elderly people at our table. So not knocking the waitresses at all they were dealt a bad hand. You could see the chef frantically pacing around the orders which was rather odd. All in all it was quite a poor experience for what the reviews said. It would’ve been a frequent place to visit had it been up to scratch as I haven’t found many places that do vegan Sunday roasts. Unfortunately it doesn’t seem worth giving it another go

We were about to sit down and order food and drinks but were told that dogs could only be accommodated in the downstairs bar. When I pointed out that the bar was closed & empty, we were told we could sit down there but order upstairs. We politely declined and took our business elsewhere. On the way out, I enquired whether the member of staff was the manager and was informed she was the operations manager. Well, all I can say is your attitude stinks. Had the 3 course Christmas dinner. It was absolutely delicious. Cannot recommend this enough. I had the soup, turkey and cheese.

Average in everything...Sure there are better! The dishes are copious but moderately tasty, service at a minimum!

One of the best Sunday roasts me and my dad have had, accompanied by a great range of wonderful beers. We went for the slow cooked pork shoulder and the beef brisket roast, both of which were super tender and fell apart in your mouth. Can’t wait to go back. I 100% recommend booking well in advance to secure a spot. Staff lovely as always

A lovely wee place to sit out in the sunshine - we came here as suggested by my wonderful friend and I enjoyed it. Lots of space between tables, food was decent, nice little spot.

Great pub by the river. Has cosy indoor seating and nice riverside seating outside, too. Have some nice local beers, too, from Kirkstall Brewery. They have parking, too! Which is a bonus. Great pub.
