Food ok, service good. Surroundings a bit bleak and dismal. Lacking atmosphere.

Visited for afternoon tea with my mum for mother's day and absolutely disappointed. Poor quality and quantity. Not the desired treat for my mum.

What a lovely place ...we went for Afternoon Tea and what a delight. From ringing to booking to greeting you. Nothing too much trouble. The Staff were lovely. The Golf Club is easy to find and parking is good. The food was lovely plenty of choice and lovely atmosphere. Will defo go back and they also over a lunchtime menu if you wish to not have afternoon tea.

Sunday Lunch freshly cooked, delicious, generous portions. Fantastic table service, friendly staff, relaxed & welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend, booked for a table of 6. Two or three course option, beef, gammon or chicken. Generous portion sizes, beautiful fresh servings of vegetables and amazing Yorkshire puddings. Support the club house & book your Sunday lunch! Kids menu available. Other meals also available too. So much choice!

Course is in very good condition and has plenty of variety of challenges. The club and staff are friendly and welcoming.

Unfortunately rained after 11 holes! But will be back. Tough interesting track.

Lovely course but greens are suffering at the mo.

Had our son's 5th birthday here this weekend. Hired the function room, with ample room for a DJ, tables for food and 28 4and 5 year olds. The place was fab, and the staff were second to none! On hand if we needed anything and nothing was too much trouble. Great communication back and forth to organise so made it all the more easy! Thanks Danny and Team! It was fabulous 👌

An excellent venue for a family lunch.Everyone welcome including well behaved dogs.The menu offers plenty of choice at a reasonable price.Booking preferred but not always essential depending on what other events are taking place.

This is a golf club bar, serving food. Nothing exceptional nor detrimental.

Stopped in for a drink while on a dog walk around the area, very welcoming and friendly. The menu looked very good at a reasonable price. Also we'll behaved dogs are very welcome, which is unusual for a golf club. We will return.

Fantastic course ,quite challenging with great greens and a lovely clubhouse .

Great club, been a member since April 2021 and been made to feel really welcome. Quite a challenging course but generally in great condition. The exec committee are really striving to make it an even more welcoming environment with a strong Ladies section and great kids facilities.

Decent course - could do with playing twice as lot's of blind hole's. Friendly club house and pro shop.

Fabulous course, some quite unforgiving fairways due to terrain of the course, but the greens and fairways are immaculate, in fact, the rough here is better than the fairways on some courses!

Friendly staff ... a couple of interesting holes but mainly played in a 'bowl'. Greens were outstanding but would not necessarily play again in a hurry...

Enjoyed an excellent lunch from a good menu choice.New House Manager and catering team in place and we were delighted with the quality of the food,the portions and service we received.Look forward to our next visit with the whole family.

Great course and staff. Greens are kept well and fairways. Looking forward to playing there again. Only thing i'll say is get a electric cart. There are some step hills.

Just joined the club and never been a member of a golf club before so wasn't sure what to expect. I needn't have worried though - Richard the club secretary talked me through everything and it sounds like a really friendly club. Can't wait to get playing.

Really impressed with the challenge of the course and how well kept the greens are and pretty much all aspects of the course. It was my first time so after a couple a few of the holes I would get lost as no Indication as to which direction next hole is. Other than that I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and will definitely come back as a visitor as I am.a member elsewhere but I recommend the course to all. Please give it a visit you will not be disappointed.

Challenging course set on the hillside of Calverley. Wide variety of holes, not your average whack it and walk place. Need to work your way around the course. Nice sized clubhouse serving a good variety of drinks. Varied food menu which includes a 5 bacon-3 sausage-3eggs breakfast down to sandwiches. Hot Roast beef was delicious. You can hire buggies here too which is a bonus for those who may find some of the climbs a bit too much, notably from 14th Green to 15th Tee. Well stocked Pro Shop. Friendly staff everywhere. Wholly recommend a visit to Woodhall Hills.

Tough challenge. Course had lots of ups/downs/sideways holes. Also, lots of walking between holes making it worth considering a buggy. Plenty of trees as well! See photo where massive oak tree right in front of green! Greens were ok playing in 4 ball open September 2019. Decent Clubhouse with friendly staff.

Nice enough course but open competitions poorly run. We travelled 40 miles to play in a competition and with 2 of our group scoring twos and winning nearest the pin we were told we needed to claim our prizes from the Pro shop when we should have been able to claim on the day.We wont be going back in an hurry.

hired a room and asked for catering for my granddaughter's naming ceremony. Food was excellent, room was spacious, staff were helpful. Recommend.

Had a great days golf on Sunday 12 Aug 2018 with our Society, which was Superbly set up by the pro Neil and complimented by the friendly club members. Course was in superb condition and is a credit to the green keepers. Had a meal after the round that was pukka and great value for money. Will definitely be returning and would greatly recommend Sean Murphy Moorside Society Oldham

First time for myself, wife and two friends. We all throughly enjoyed the course and found it to be interesting but still playable. All the staff and members were very helpful and pleasant. Even when they found out we had come over the tops from Manchester. Would visit again.

I had my 40th at Woodhall Hills Golf Club last night. Everyone commented how lovely the BBQ was and the staff were really friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to book a venue for a function.

Great little course with some beautiful holes. Quite narrow and unforgiving in places. Requires accurate tee shots. The bunkers could do with a little Tlc.

Played winter great condition and course... Must be awesome in summer

This was our third visit for a Carvery and all have been excellent, three joints,yorkshire puddings and an amazing selection of vegetables,the staff are freindly and helpfull. Well worth a visit. The selections of handpulled beers is good and the prices are very good value.

Where can I start - tasteless prawns, plastic tasting Yorkshire puddings, potato that resembled smash, overdone beef, broccoli so hard I couldn't cut it. Even my dessert wasn't home made. Let's just say I won't be going back - Sunday lunch could be so much more!!!

This restaurant was advertised in `The Squeaker`, a local magazine. We were made welcome I think we may have been the first non-members to visit the restaurant. The service was excellent and the food well presented. As it a golf club it is in a rural area in pleasant surroundings. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will hope to return again soon.

I was a caddy in the 1960's for Mr Richard Harrison. The club Professional was Mr Jim Sharpe. The club also had several illustrious members. I remember going to Pannal GC for a medal competition and WHGC winning. Oh happy memories they were.
