Kings Peri Peri in Newham

Peri peri wings were good as usual but I ordered 10 wings and 10 strips. You gave 20 wings. You should call if you run out of things and were substituting items to see if you can offer something else more suitable instead.

Wrong order blamed driver food was cold then told me to collect rest of order in rush hour

Got my order completely wrong, called them to ask what are they going to do about it. Told me to come and collect it and they will give me extra. The whole point of ordering a delivery and paying for that is because I don't want to collect my food. Telling me that there were 3 similar orders at the same time and my order probably went to someone else does not solve the fact that I don't have anything to eat. If I wanted fried chicken, I would have ordered it!

Bad experience with food Stomachache

Absolutely rubbish they do not speak one word of english. We placed an order over phone and they got confused with our order. They can't speak English and so they shouldn't be running a business.

I order from this restaurant often and never disappointed. Today my food was just cold and as soon as it was delivered I had to put it in the oven to warm again! Really disappointed! Not sure if I'll order again!

They don’t know how to take orders on phone call

I asked for green chillies on my pizza but got none.

I had a issue with Just Eat which delayed my order. It kept changing the estimated delivery time with no updates on my order

The chicken, the hot wings were old! they looked 2 days old. The chips were stone cold and the tomatoes in the salad were old and mushy

Half of my order was missing and other items were cold and received an empty box of chips.

Foods always good here however last two times they have not been reading the notes and both times pizza came incorrect. Would go back but just hope they get better at sending the right thing! They used to be.

The food was cold! and the pizza was burnt and tasted different to what I always order from you guys. very disappointed.

Food was burnt quarter pounder was tasting of burnt charcoal and had no flavour of a pounder at all it was very bad. The oil used to fry chips definitely needs changing as you can taste its ancient oil. I threw up after eating this food and feel poisoned a long time back this place was amazing it is now bottom of the barrel.

I order from this restaurant several times a week, today they missed chips and drink from my order, when I called them to make them aware so they could add onto my next order, they denied it and blamed it on the courier. Disappointing, lost a loyal customer.

I’ve gone here many of times and used to absolutely love this place however lately the staff have changed and they’re absolutely disrespectful and most of them can barely understand English which I think is disgraceful. They were rude to me as a polite paying customer, had a lot of attitude and did not listen to a word I said I have gone here and received pink chicken which was disgusting which they were denying it until a man I have seen in there plenty of times and got along with (he’s unfortunately gone now) saw it and gave me my money back as he knew it was pink it was my last resort of a food place but I wouldn’t even use it as a last resort. The food I received was also cold which was not enjoyable.

Second time in a row I’ve ordered chips as an extra and they haven’t arrived. :(

Thank you for the Burnt Pizza. Probably Kings by name, certainly not Kings by nature. I smelt the god damn thing burning from where I was standing in front of the counter, and the chef still boxed it. I never go to theses sort of places for food, but my better half sent me here to get pizza. I will never go here again

Didn’t do as they were asked chicken strips was spicy asked for it no spice and grill wings were pink in side under cooked , and also forgot our Drinks with meal on top of it .

Nice place to grab a quick bite

Today I bought 20 chicken wings and two pieces of chicken. All chicken were from inside row and from outside dry. Chicken was pink which means didn’t cook very well. The service was poor one of the staff members a girl tried to change me extra.

Workers asked what colour my boxers were and asked for my mother’s nipple colour, they also made red bloody chicken which made me and my mother throw up definitely will not be coming here again (don’t be fooled by their cheap prices)

Advertised prices don’t match charged prices, chotic service. Wanted 15 wings instead of 20 before paying and they said they cant because it’s already gone through to the card machine and that I should just pay and eat the remaining another day

Terrible customer service. I have been coming here for many months and I sent my daughter to get some food and they gave her a quarter of a box of rice. The box wasn’t even half full and just coated the rice with salad thinking they could get away with this because it was a child. I went back to the shop and and another guy seems to think he could get involved and the guy that served my daughter seemed to think it was funny. If you’re a woman always speak up for yourself, because these men think they can take the piss. I will definitely never be returning here again. There are much nicer places in the area that actually respect their customers. Disgusting behaviour

Orderd on Uber Eats. Orderd 8 piece chicken and 6 wings. Only received 4 pieces and wings were under cooked. Had 2 pieces of chicken. First one was dry and second one was so greasy that it was like they dipped it in water. Flesh was also tough for some reason.

Really good grilled wings. Good servive. Chips are okay (aka wish they could change them 🙂)... I now have an update. The chips are better now 👍🏽

My son have food poison after eating chicken nuggets and chips. End up in E&A, so bad vomiting all day and night. Service very bad, girl taking orders don't lissining what you want, don't pass the correct order to the kitchen. Will never buy food from the ever again.

Ordered peri peri chicken extra hot. Received mild and if it was hot for chef then I would say order Pepes peri peri extra hot and eat then you will get to know what is hot means 🤨! Chicken wasnt well done! Peri peri chicken need more thick saucy but their sauce was very watery! Pizza bread was a bit hard and thin! The name is kings peri peri but I would say peri peri king is Pepes peri peri 😂

Been there a couple of weeks ago. Their burgers were reasonably priced and good quality. Like you get what you pay for. Honestly good beef burgers are hard to find as they have a weird smell of not cooked properly but unexpectedly their beef burger were good without the horrid smell.

Busy but 👎 But customer service is so so bad. Only one person serving in counter and one dirty clothes man working in behind. Hope this kings piri piri have good hygiene records. Really bad

I ordered from this chicken shop for the first time, and it was a disappointing experience. The customer service was awful; the staff seemed disinterested and unhelpful. To make matters worse, if you don't have exact change, you can't purchase dips, which is absurd. While I understand they charge for dips, it's frustrating that they only accept cash for this additional item. Adding to the frustration, even though you can pay for your order with a card, they insist on cash-only for dips. It's an inconvenience that tarnished my overall impression of the place.

The service is horrible. The guy at the counter doesn't understand nothing and shouts around for no reason, tries to overcharge customers or gives them higher prices to pay. Definitely this place needs customer service training provided to the employees.

Literally the chicken wings had hair on them and were undercooked, what has happened to this place.

Excellent stop for late night gremlin hours. Great portion sizes, pricing, and cooked-to-order chicken and fries. Delicious food (nuggets are under the fries)! Spice level may come back to bite you the day after, but no better way to end a night. Friendly staff asked no questions when we ordered in costume.

The grilled wings are 10/10 - the sauce is so moreish and the fries are absolutely perfect.

Located on high street south it’s always busy so very rare to find parking outside but there are many on the side roads, I’ve been coming here since they opened they also own the corner shop VSJ food and wine near the tescos, real nice people. It’s my go to place for peri peri chips! You really can’t beat them, they ain’t greasy or soaked in oil!! Crispy and the portion sizes are really generous, trust me you really wanna try them the spice is spot on!

Really tasty and flavourful grilled chicken. Taste is always consistent. The marinade is on point. Last time the fries were a bit over cooked, this hasn’t happened before, so it might have been a one off.

The 1 star review is because of the lady serving me at EastHam branch, I’ve got 3 meals and only to be told that I’m not allowed any sauce with my meals only one 1 small tub, was bit confused by her comment and how she spoken about it, I asked politely can you please explain how does that make sense when I’ve got 3 individual meals there’s 3 people eating not all for my self 🤨so I should be able to get 3 takeaway sauces isn’t i? I’m not asking for extra amounts just give me the amount which is due with my 3 meals, I didn’t get her logic what she was saying,as only one sauce is allowed because that’s what owners has told all the staff give only one sauce per customer and pointed towards as sign saying £0.30 for extra sauce I said right that still doesn’t make sense because I’ve got 3 different people meals so that’s three different customers right? If you want I’ll pay the extra and the sign only goes to say pay extra £0.30 for additional sauce, I was then told if I’m not happy with her telling me what’s she’s been told by her bosses make a complaint to owner and walked away from the situation, very disappointed how she treated me with such a disrespectful attitude.

Very friendly and very fast service

One of the better chicken shops here in Sudbury. I've been visiting here for a while and the owners greet me with smiles and pleasant conversations every time. Prices are perhaps steeper than some of the surrounding shops, but you get what you pay for: consistent great tasting chicken. Quite limited seating for a shop of that size, but I digress. Overall, it's a great place to have lunch and I would definitely recommend!

Delicious food and lovely place

Great deals like two chicken wraps for just £6, or generous peri peri box meals for just under £8. I’m super impressed by their grilled chicken menu. Prices are very affordable considering local competition. Hands down better than Nando’s chicken wraps, will definitely visit again.

Stopped here Thursday evening on my way to my parents. Been in before and it's been ok but this was woeful. I ordered a meal that was supposed to be... fillet burger, fries, 1 piece, some hot wings & a drink. Paid the price advertised. Didn't check until arrived at my parents (5 mins away), burger, fries and drink only. Missing the piece and hot wings. The burger was dry and the bun was stale. Won't be going back

The pizza was so so salty. Called the shop and they said they cant do anything about it. Cost me £45.00 waste of money

This place may look rubbish, but I can guarantee you the the grill is 5 stars; for spicy lovers, either mild or proper spicy, this is one place to try the grill. Will check other King's Peri Peri places, but I will definitely keep this one in mind!

Great quality and very nice, the wings have changed since 2015 but still is very good

I ordered a whole peri peri chicken with chips, two pitta breads and salad. Only to find that the pitta bread had fungi growing on it. Absolutely disgusted. If I lived local I would’ve taken it back. Definitely need to be reported to food hygiene specialists.
