We had a lovely dinner at the harvester Chloe was our waiter we had a lovely time and food was cooked to perfection and Nash was a lovely barman

Another enjoyable meal this evening, the food arrived hot which is great. We were served by Arose who was absolutely charming. Such a happy young man, polite and with a personality. Keep up the good work Arose.

Debbie our waitress was faultless, checked made sure we were happy with our food and if needed anything else. Service is always great at the kings head and food I'd always on time and great quality.

Meal was delicious, was cooked and served well, seen to our table by Joe who made us feel incredibly welcome, great atmosphere and profesional behaviour from all the staff.

If you want a Christmas dinner here it’s a roast in a can! It’s disgusting! They have better roast dinners in the homeless shelter!

We visit this restaurant when we stay with my son and family in camberley . Last nights experience was exceptional we were welcomed by who appeared to be the owner and were brought to a large table set for 8 . We were asked if any of our group had any allergies and the waitress took our drinks order . The restaurant was very busy you could see from the guests they were most likely returnees there was a very happy vibe in this establishment. The waitress who took our order was very thorough and we were served quickly . The meal was exceptional it was hot and beautifully laid out we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and look forward to our next visit Many thanks to the manager and his wonderful staff .i regret I did not ask for their names Thank you again

We went last night with friends. I have not been to a harvester for a long time so was looking forward to it. We arrived and ordered after about 20 mins as we had to wait for another person to join our table. We were just starting on our salad bowls when the food arrived very quickly. I would have liked a bit longer to enjoy my salad really but I was hungry so it was not too much of an issue. Me and my partner had the full rack of ribs which was presented nicely and was delicious. We had desserts too they were perfectly OK. The staff are very friendly and the waitress gave us a container to take our salad home as I had quite alot left to finish. Our seats were ripped so I think the place needs a refurbishment. Prices have gone up but still get good value for your money.

Hadn't been here since a very disappointing birthday meal in 2023 but decided to give the restaurant a second chance. Despite being asked if we had a voucher when we arrived, we were not given the "special" menu until we'd decided what we wanted, so that caused a delay. Within 5 minutes of sitting down with our salad bowls, our main courses were delivered. I had ordered the chicken skewer-when it came, the skewer was red hot - too hot to touch - but the chicken, although very tender, was only warm. Accompanying flat bread was unpleasant. Shared a dessert but coffee arrived before the dessert. The young waitress was extremely friendly and helpful, but we used the voucher and won't return.

Food was excellent. Succulent chicken and steaks cooked perfectly. The decor is tired so it could do with a redecoration but otherwise very good.

Food was great and staff were brilliant great service. Really enjoyed salad bar and and our burgers were very tasty. We had a great time.

Had table booked for 1pm seated early waitress was amazing as I am gluten intolerant and got the kitchen to freshly make my salad so wasn’t cross contaminated. Was extremely knowledgeable about the products and allergens. Suggested the glass onion app. That waitress needs some sort of praise from management as was totally amazing. Think she might have been a trainer

Hard to know where to start so will just bullet point it. Staff looked super stressed, clearly not enough to cope. We were seated at the bar as it was busy, after ordering food we were completely forgotten about. We did ask for a garden table to be told it was full, looked outside, lots of empty tables. Not a single table was cleared, plates and glasses were absolutely everywhere. We ended up taking our own plates and bowls to the bar as no came to our table even once. One order came out wrong. It was also severely overcooked. Portions sizes seem to have substantially decreased and very expensive for what came out. Kids burger looked very unappealing. Kid didn’t eat it. Kids dessert took 45 minutes to arrive after finally finding a staff member to ask, turns out it had been forgotten about. Toilets were not very clean. Many other unhappy customers could be heard grumbling. The phone regularly rang without being answered. Large group of foul mouthed drinkers at the bar not challenged by staff, lots of kids sat around. Genuinely the least enjoyable experience eating out possibly ever. Bourbon sauce was good though.

This absolute monstrosity the staff were dreadful and didn’t even sit us in the restaurant but in the pub section. Didn’t give us cutlery until we asked but every other table had it there already. Personally o think it’s because I was with French people but the scran was fire🔥🔥🔥🔥

Had the lovely Debbie as a server who was amazing. The Steak and the rack of ribs were cooked to perfection. We will definitely be back!!

We had a great experience here today for a birthday celebration. Great quick service especially from Debbie! Would come again!

Still a good visit but I do feel what you get for your money has decreased a bit over the years ( but hasn't eveywhere ) both oru meals were good pub grub. Your not going to a harvester for luxury but a hearty meal. This is were the decrease comes in, for example you need to get extra chips to gat the same amount you used to. The slad cart seems to use items that are a bit lower quality. But thats the times we are in. Service was good and timley. We will be back.

I do like this restaurant and I understand that this is uncertain times but I was slightly disappointed. We booked a table for 3pm and we were told to wait in the bar area as our table wasn't ready which we were fine to do. However 15 minutes went by and another couple turned up who had not booked and they were then seated straight away before us, even though we were still waiting for our table? I then approached a member of staff who apologised and quickly seated us. There were a few things off the menu which we expected because of covid. We ordered our mains and I was told to come to the salad bar where I would be served a salad which I do applaud as one member of staff was in control of this and it worked well. The only downside is that they only had one side of salad and there were extremely limited options. The mains came in good time and we enjoyed them a lot. However it became noticed as we were there that more and more people were coming into the restaurant and we had people placed on a table right behind us and right beside us. I was expecting in covid times that at least one table between people would be left unoccupied but this was not the case and this made us extremely anxious. We quickly got the bill, and were issued the 50% off for eat out to help out which was really great as if this had not been applied then the bill would have been very expensive...We were shocked to see the pitmaster costs £19.50 without discount. Don't get me wrong, it is nice...but that is extremely expensive for what it is, in our opinion. We probably will return after covid but will wait for the time being.

The restaurant was quite busy but we were shown quite quickly to a table. We were next to a large radiator and I mentioned that it was hot, I was told that the radiator would go off shortly but it did not appear to. We were served by a nice waitress who took our drink order. Our drinks arrived, served by a very pleasant young man.We went to the salad bar and all was fresh. However, the dressings were not labeled, I wanted a reduced calorie one but it was not clear which was which.Our food arrived. My mixed grill looked ok but the sausage and the chicken were almost burnt. My chips were cold, I told the waitress and she said they were so thick and in a metal serving 'cup' that she was surprised!Just to the left of where I was sitting there was a windowsill and on this there were items of old food such as sweetcorn and bits of bread or chips. I don't know how long this had been there but it should have been wiped up.What a pity these things marred our eating out experience.

After announcing that I wanted my husband to take me for breakfast he suggested harvester. I have to admit I was sceptical but then he mentioned the waffles I was sold. We went on a Saturday morning and all I can say is I will certainly be coming back. Unlimited breakfast bar for toast, fruit and cereal. The all in breakfast was really good and the waffles very good! We were served by Autumn and want to give her a special shout out for making our visit so relaxing. I would highly recommend breakfast here

Ate at the harvester last Thursday and was impressed by the professionalism of your staff especially my waitress mandy, who was very welcoming and went out of her way to ensure our visit was enjoyable, the food was great and especially love the salad bar and would definitely recommend others to visit this harvester

Came her last night and fully enjoyed it! Sam was an amazing waiter and looked after us and the kids very well for lunch! Salad was topped up fresh and out meals were hot and yummy!

Stopped off today for some lunch and service was excellent. Autumn and Emma couldn't do enough to make our stay great food and service was 5 star. Will come back soon

Every time we visit the staff are very friendly, helpful and attentive. Autumn, Katie and chef Emma were amazing today when my friend and I visited for lunch.

We were served by Sam! He’s such an attentive waiter and nothing was too much for him. A girl with long brown hair was also helpful for us. The food was fresh and hot and I will Ben returning soon!

I eat at the harvester every tuesday and find it value for money the service is excellent ,it could do with a bit of a tidy up but staff are friendly and helpful and i shall continue to use it

when we went in staff were helpful dominic said he was the boss and tried to give us all we needed . my mum is disabled and they were really good with her. nothing was to much trouble for them. overall was a nice place to eat.

We arrived today with a single and double push chair, the staff were very helpful and put us in the bar so we had enough room, service was very good and had a lovely waitress called Autumn who was more than helpful

Booked a couple of hours before arriving and that removed the issue of waiting. Always recommend booking in advance. Staff were low on numbers and were struggling to keep up but they had a smile and were friendly. Meal was good and just a nice time out thanks

Me and no my husband were a walk in last night. We had great food cooked by Emma! My husband steak was cooked perfectly while my 83 combo was delicious. Sam and Kyle were brilliant since they were on their own when we visited! Would come again when we’re in the area again

Out and about with work, really hungry and came across the Kings Head Harvester. Service was great from a waitress called Autumn, who was attentive and helpful. food came in great time and was very nice. I would recommend this location

What lovely staff they have here! Very accommodating and always cheerful. Autumn is a credit to them, with Emma (chef) who very kindly substituted my gluten free roll for my burger. Food was tasty, came out without much of a wait too.

Called in whilst out shopping for a quick meal. Great parking facilities. Lovely pub loads on nooks and crannies to sit in. Staff were friendly, shown to our table and drinks orders taken fast. Restaurant was clean staff were efficient. They had run out of several dishes though so we had to re think our orders. Waitress also brought the wrong food mixing ours up the the table next to us. We were also a little perplexed when she told us she was no longer allowed to prepare desserts in the kitchen, we didn’t really want to know why!!! Think she was attempting banter. At least we hoped so!

Was not going back to this harvester as in past has been very dirty and food poor but decided to give it another go tonight. Glad we did.waitress lovely,food was great.resturant clean.on down side the smell from toilets and glad we did not want festive Xmas dinner as no roasts potatoes but overall well done harvester.we will visit again

Been going to Harvesters for many years. This is probably the last time, certainly to this one. Long wait for initial drinks, king prawn starter was poor with stale bread, then 4 main courses (out of 8) were either inedible or wrong. Waitress was very poor and disinterested. Gent’s loos then flooded.

My wife and I booked a table here on our way to the cinema. We'd had bad experiences in the past but the last couple of times had been very good. My how the wheels have fallen off.

We were seated quickly and received a great welcome from the Duty manager, very genuine and offered us drinks. We were then served by another lady whom didn’t seem to enjoy her position.

Went to the harvester for breakfast and there was plenty of choice and all the food was cooked fresh and came out lovely and hot!!!!! Before the cooked breakfast I had some fresh fruit with strawberry yoghurt which was lovely fresh and chilled. After my cooked breakfast I had toast and jam and there lots of jams to choose from. The coffee which you help yourself to was always full and hot!!! Which is always good . The staff were very accommodating and friendly. Asking you how you are enjoying your breakfast and if there is anything else they can do for you. Which I thought was lovely. Over all our experience was amazing!!!!!! Highly recommend here for breakfast

Not impressed with the staffs dress....didn't look clean and tidy.....then told the steak menu was not available...decided to leave

Firstly the place is dirty, tables were sticky cutlery filthy, just generally not clean. We were stood at the door for nearly 15 minutes while the manager dealt with the guests in front of us and everyone else ignored us despite having a booking.

For 4 adults and a child our bill came to £56. This included 2 starters, 4 main meals and a child meal, 4 refills and a lime and soda water.

Excellent good food, plenty tables, ok for children too, salad bar really good, good size car park,,

I was put off The Harvester last year when the food and service was poor, and I hadn't been back until today.

We arrived without a booking and were told we could eat same food in bar if we didn't want to wait. The member of staff took the time to ask if we had visited before, and let us know where everything was. The mixed grill was very enjoyable, and the salad bar well stocked. We will certainly visit again.

Popped in here as heard good things about this local pub. The service and food were ok but nothing very special. Very greasy. Offer to take a free salad from the salad bar was ironic: didn't look very fresh. If you're looking for a quickish meal that's fried or grilled, this place is ok.

Food not very good very plain and the taste not very good the starters nachos without sour cream just left on the table and not told the was sour cream was missing

Looking for a family lunch on a Sunday is difficult in this area. But we had a friendly welcome and got seated with only a ten minute wait. Orders taken we helped ourselves to a good array of salad. When the main course was delivered we stacked the salad bowls ourselves and they were never removed from the table. All mains were enjoyed except one sirloin steak well overcooked and minus onion rings. To be fair this was deducted from bill without asking. Children's menu better than average. Just needs that little bit extra to drag it up to 4 star for me.

Went for lunch and what a surprise they actually had a fillet steak. They never normally have this. We ordered and the staff were friendly and efficient. However our meals weren’t that great. My steak was rather tough and the onion rings were over cooked and the meals were cold. It cost 57.00 for the mains and one dessert along with a bottle of wine. Expensive for the quality.

We did not book because we did not know when we would arrive back as it was Friday evening and we were returning via the M25.On arriving at the Kings Head we were told a table would be ready in approx 19 Mins,almost on the dot of 10Mins we were called-We had very good service,and meal.The only negative was the BEER-I perfer draught beer and was told the only one available was something called 61 something or other -Not to my taste or anyones I suspect that perfers BITTER BEER-that was the only down side Thankyou

Arrived and waited for a table in the middle of the.afternoon when it was quiet.

Went for a late lunch today with my adult daughters. My daughter and I ordered the Jambalya . When it arrived it was frozen and Icy! We returned it but no real apology and no once seemed to care. Only good thing was the salad bar. Give a wide berth!

We had breakfast there last week. Nearly selected the unlimited for £8.50 but realised we could get exactly what we wanted with the set breakfast for £5, we still helped ourselves to juice, coffee, toast and honey and that was included in the price.

Stopped for dinner when coming back to London on M3. We were told there was a 20 minute wait but we agreed to wait. We went to the bar to order drinks and looked at the menu. We saw tables free in the bar so we asked if we could eat in the bar, which we could, so we ordered immediately and got our salads.

Not surprised it’s taken them 2 years to respond to the reviews on here! We left without our food AGAIN due to waiting for it for over 45 minutes in our lunch Won’t be giving this place a 3rd chance

This place is always busy so you need to book for most times (as we did). Seemed that the server in our area was rushed off his feet with more customers than the staff on could cope with in my view. Got seated quickly and drink order taken, food order took a while to take though. Food was not delayed in arriving but seemed a bit over cooked on some dishes. Overall ok but just don't expect too much.

Came for dinner here on Wednesday night and what a transformation. Was great to get seated straight away. The salad bar was fresh and plenty off Choice. The ribs we had were cooked spot on fresh and warm will be back

Came here with my partner and from the start it was a great welcome from the man at the door explaining how we get to the garden and order to the lady at the bar serving ... it was a great experience and we will be back.

Not very busy but know one around

My partner and I came for an evening meal after long days at work. Straight away the waitress (Claire) we had was very friendly and smiley. I am a vegetarian and the few choices to chose from did not appeal to me however, Claire ensured I could have macaroni cheese. We were both very full up, we got a lot for our money and the food was delicious. People are very quick to judge these days writing bad reviews however I also think when you receive good service it should be recognised, Claire clearly enjoyed her job and made our experience positive so many thanks to her

Popped in for Saturday lunch, not that busy, but had to wait to be seated, sat for over 12 minutes before offered drinks

We arrived here for a pre holiday meal with family. We came here as it has always been a great meal for us all.

Walked along the canal and ended up stoppin* her3 for a drink before walking back lovely big garden to sit outside if you don5 want inside. Clean and tidy friendly staff

We visited tonight as a group of 10 made up of 2 families. We had the half term voucher for kids meals at £1 with each paying adults meal. From the time we placed our order it took a long time for our food to come out but to be expected on a bank hol and a large group I suppose. The salad was very disappointing when we arrived and looked very sorry for itself. It got restocked after about 20/30 mins. Our mains were ok, nothing too exciting but filling. One of the party had the veggie boho burger and said it was lovely. Our bill got messed up and because of all of the delays we had a discount applied but it still wasn’t 100% correct but they dealt with it well and fairly quickly. The serving staff were really good (Gemma looked after us and had very limited experience dealing with the tables and handled it really well) and were working very hard under the pressure of a busy restaurant.

I have literally just returned from a meal with my husband and daughter to Harvester Frimley Green and can honestly say I will not be returning. As soon as we arrived we were seated and asked for drink order. A couple of minutes and the waitress took our food order then we went to get salad bar. I had only just sat down with my salad when our food arrived! I had the sea bass and king prawns although they didn’t have any sea bass so I was given what I can only describe as cheap frozen fish which was so bland! I have ordered this from the menu before at harvester puttenham and I guarantee you it was nothing like it. So I had a salad bar that I couldn’t eat because my food arrived immediately and for a £15 meal I did not expect bland frozen fish. This was not a relaxed restaurant experience and just felt rushed. Maybe the chef should work at puttenham for a while to see how the meals should be prepared and we should be given time to actually eat the salad bar before our meal arrives.

Very late in writing this, but I feel I must - we had a terrible experience at this restaurant last year (which I didn’t write a review for, it was mainly due to one staff member) and I ended up with a voucher. Wasn’t sure about going back to this one, but decided to give it a go.

As harvesters go, the Kings Head wasn’t anything special, our Waiter Eric was pleasant , the food took ages, however it was very busy. The food between the 8 of us was ok. One minor gripe was that the steaks were a bit over cooked. Still it was a great night and we enjoyed ourselves.

The staff here were really friendly and the food was hot and tasty .. exactly what you come for! I will return soon!

Just had a meal at the Harvester Kings Head with the family and liked the look of the menu , Every body enjoyed there meal apart from me and one other we both had the Steak Hash .when you have steak you want it to be juicy and tender but sadly it was dry and tuff and very thin not 8oz ,I did mention this to the waitress and got an apology ,after waiting halve an hour for the food to come i didn’t want to send it back and wait again so hence a poor review , i don’t think I will return ,it’s not cheap to eat hear so the steaks should be a much better quality then we got and it’s not difficult to cook steak even poor quality steak

A tired looking pub with mediocre food, friendly staff but I am afraid I wouldn’t choose to eat there again. Very basic food, nothing to entice you and very little for vegetarians.

Despite being extremely busy, the service we received was fantastic and the food was hot and well cooked

We were overcharged on our last visit (and actually, on the visit before that too, however we noticed on that occasion) and therefore the only reason we revisited was so that the mistake could be "sorted out". It was a waste of time driving back....

Wanted a cheap n cheerful early dinner with the kids so opted for our local Harvester. Not the best choice..... I didn't want to touch the menus as they were filthy ie smeared with ketchup etc, the floor at our first table needed a sweep, the salad was such a disappointment ie the cucumber was soft n squishy, the choice was limited, there were no names on any of the sauces and there was sauce splashes everywhere. The decor was tired ie lampshades torn and dirty, most of the booth seats were cracked ie the leather you sit on. The food was ok....my steak was a bit dry and it took about 50 mins for it to arrive. My vegetables weren't very hot but the ribs were good.

Filthy, worn out, lack lustre. How does a company leave a pub to get into this state?

Went to the harvester at about 8 on a Sunday evening, you would expect it to be busy but there was two other families in the there which we found strange but didn’t question. The manager (what looked to be the manager) seated us at our table for 4 as soon as we walked in and gave us our menus. 5 minutes in a waitress walks over and tells us she has just been informed that the grill in the kitchen wasn’t working.... stuff happens, I get it, but she was rude and did not even apologise and Why did you not tell us this before we sat down?!!!!! It answered the question as to why the place was empty! so no the waitress was not “just informed” that the grill was broken, the guy who seated us seemed like too much of a coward to tell us that all we could have from the menu was fish, so he got one of the waitresses to do it instead.

This place is unclean and the food is pretty much inedible, service is slow and poor, just an all round avoid! Basingstoke is so much better

I was looking forward to eating here, and with it being a harvester had high expectations as other Harvesters i had been to had been great, boy was i in for a surprise...

Trusted them with Christmas Lunch, huge mistake!! Bunch of amateurs! Booked it well in advance, but they still managed to keep us waiting in the bar for an hour. Finally got a table and then had an extended wait for the preordered starters to arrive. Seriously, even the bread with the pate was stale. Turkey was ok, desert nothing special.

We were seated promptly - in fact we were offered several tables as we arrived late and past the peak lunch time. Service was very prompt and cheerful and although we each ordered different dishes it all arrived at the same time. I couldn't finish my mixed grill so the waitress wrapped my chicken and my husband's roasties in clingfilm - and put his tropical fruit sunday into a plastic container to take out. Our son is a fast eater and was able to wait for us in the bar, despite having several cola top-ups,. Water had been spilt in the Ladies' clokroom and when I reported this it was immediately dealt with. No complaints at all.

Sorry have to say you get what you pay for .... steak , take your own chainsaw because the steak knives are no good .... service ... terrible...

Waited 60 minutes for our food for it to be almost cold when it eventually arrived. I did not want to make a fuss but I am not very impressed. May not go back

As a family of seven people (four adults and three children) we booked early for lunch at 12 noon.

A family member recommend it for breakfast.

The food and service is good but i have to be honest about the hygiene side of my visit.. the ledges and skirtings are filthy and the walls food stained.. the seats were covered in food from previous customers. There are wires hanging out the walls that my kids found highly amusing.. as i said food was fine and service just shocked at the state of the restaurant.
