Food took ages despite no orders or anyone else being there.

Honestly, mystery meat was surprisingly good, especially the meat tube! Will be back!

This place serves terrible food at inflated prices, and actively scams the drunks and unaware. They are the scum of the earth. Never go here.

Hopefully this one was one of our great mistake to decide have a take out from local Donner shop. Poor service, kabab and chicken pakora was like left over from last night. I hope can management get back to response how I got badly suffered food poison after even try a little portion. I believe council should do a health and safety audit to prove they are following proper food safety level.

Ordered the beef donner wrap which was dry and tasteless. I also had the cheesy nachos which came with cheese so rubbery and bland that I couldn't even eat the whole box. How hard is it to make cheesy nachos. I have never been so disappointed by a take away in my life.

I love the food here. Great kebab shop. Sam always looks after me and prepares epic wraps, pizzas and milkshakes. Well worth it.

Terrible service for most people it seems, gotta say the chicken kebabs are usually delicious though, although a bit greasy. Someone else left a review complaining its in thick bread instead of pitta...its a GERMAN doner kebab, not a Turkish kebab. Go to the chain german doner kebab place they use the same thick bread as Kings german doner. I admit my first time o had the same reaction to the bread but now I love it, much better than a sad little pitta

Very expensive and v little quality. I expect more from a takeaway charging ridiculous prices. Won’t be back.

From the state of the shop it looks barely even passable if you are pished. Literally just there to serve drunk people who will eat anything. Staff are rude and not bothered about customers. I ordered a shake via deliveroo. Asked beforehand it if it would be thick to which he said yes. It was the consistency of milk not a milkshake and barely tasted of anything but milk. Not surprised since he only added like 2/3 small scoops of ice cream in the whole thing and literally nothing more. Took 1 sip and instantly told the guy it was tasteless and thin and he refused to listen or care and just pied me off. Rip off for £6+ Went straight in the bin. Not surprised hes got a 2 star rating in Google 💀 Wont last long as a business

Lovely fresh kebabs at a reasonable price decent selection I will now be a regular customer would recommend

Beyond the fact that food was 2 hours late; I ordered a sixteen inch and it came in a 14 inch box. Upon inspection I saw that a strip in the middle had been cut but only removed on one side. Staff clearly did the classic tiktok and stripped pieces from the middle to eat for themselves. DO NOT waste your money here. This place won't be around around much longer...

Chicken kebab served in some sort of thick bread rather than a pitta. Meat was awful.

I came down to Edinburgh with my wife a fews ago. She was visiting some friends and I went for a couple of pints. The intention was to pick up a fish supper and my wife would pick me up. The restaurant was open when I walked past so I ordered online for collection. When I went to collect, the place was closed. Online stated that they were open until 11pm. I phoned several times after that for a refund but had no luck (mailboxfull and hangups). I am in Edinburgh now and the restaurant is closed but shows open online. I've used the takeaway many times before when in Edinburgh. The food has been very though was always late.

Disgusting service! Food was not delivered in the time given and the restaurant were extremely rude on the phone. Talked over me the entire time and said '' not our problem'' and then hung up. The best advice i can give you is to never order from this place again! Shocking attitude from the employees and robbed me of a 20 pound order,

Terrible service missing items called restaurant to get an argumentative man claiming he gave delivery driver everything when he clearly didn’t and I was told go phone deliveroo. Wish I had read the reviews before I made the biggest mistake of ordering from this rubbish place . Food awful I ate s few bites and I’ve binned the lot . Poor excuse for food and being Halal I expected better . Shame on them . How is this place still open ? First time I’ve ordered from this place and definitely the last . Never again . Please people if you want good customer service and good food please avoid this place ! 0/10 would be my rating so disappointed

Completely wasted my money on overpriced desserts with tiny portions. Food was extremely late, arrived cold, soggy and with wrong topping. Just eat driver was super nice however the restaurant did a horrible job.

I never post but the donor kebab wasn't a donor kebab and was scraps of chicken leftover at the end of the day from the griddle

I ordered mix large kebab with salad, grilled veggies and sauces and I get pizza box with dry meat and pita bread inside…never again

Absolutely terrible service I order a pizza and a bottle of juice with a dip firstly they got the wrong juice I ordered and when the pizza arrived it was 1.5 hours later and was cold when it arrived shocking service will never use again.

I waited for 90 mins to get an Ice cream and that too in the end was delivered wrong item and even the wrong item was tasteless. Highly recommended to NOT order from here.

If you are vegetarian don't bother, they have nothing for you despite the menu having several options

If i could rate this establishment no stars i would!!! I waited 2 and a half hours for delivery . Could not get through to the restaurant as it went straight to voicemail and cut off. It kept telling me my order had been delivered on the app i placed the order and then when i finally got through to the shop, the man was rude And not helpful. The ice cream was good but almost melted however the desert pizza with nuttela looked like a dogs dinner and tasted so bad. The base was rock solid and the toppings thrown on. WILL NOT BE ORDERING AGAIN

Ordered a milk cookie dough from this establishment, when it arrived it was white chocolate. Called up the restaurant to clear up the mistake and ask if they could possibly deliver a new cookie dough. First, the server did not know the difference between white and milk chocolate. She tried to convince me that milk chocolate is supposed to be white. This seems like a very basic and fundamental knowledge in the desert business to know in a dessert place. Anyway, they said another one would be on its way. Secondly, when I called up the second time to check if my order was on its way, the man on the phone laughed and said the order was on its way. This was an hour after my first call and when I got tired of waiting, I checked to see what time they closed. They were closed and didn’t send me my cookie dough. It was an appalling first experience.

Kings German donner food was very tasty and well prepared and you can chose among many menu options. I highly recommend this place.

Really good service and quality of food was to a high standard . Staff were very friendly and food arrived in 10 mins . Food was warm and tasted really good . Would recommend this place to others . I ordered the chicken donner which was filling.

First time ordering some late night munches, milkshake was supposed to be a cream egg flavour, it was like warm semi skimmed milk. Churro's bland with hardly any white chocolate sauce, hot fudge brownie was a plain slab of chocolate brownie with no fudge to be seen. Way over priced, will NOT order again and advise people to try elsewhere.

Food was good but twice I've ordered and twice they forgot to put sauce on it, even though I stated in the notes ......kebab needs sauce lol

The German donor is very nice and you certainly get great value for your money. I would certainly recommend.

Ordered my food and waited 2 hours and it is now 05;45am and was supposed to be there for 02:50am they kept hanging up my calls and didn’t deliver my food terrible service doesn’t even deserve 1 star …

Absolutely terrible Chicken kebab , certainly was not worth £6.95. Rude and ignorant staff, manager shouting at staff member in shop and the rest of the staff running scared.Portion size was a joke, I will definitely not be going back, there is a lot better out there, to be fair would not be hard, do not waste your money and time.

Don't order off just eat. the order won't go through or it does and they don't confirm the order. I rang them and they couldn't find my order even after giving them the order no. They then hung up on me. never ordering again.

I have ordered from this place that's meant to be a take away AROUND 6/7 times,, The first 3 times we could NOT fault it,Even RECCOMENDED THIS PLACE 🤔😣🤐😤,4th the food was l8 easily by 20mins but it was here it was warm so we try again n this time the food is 45 ins late,,freezing,,no phone call from the Place 2 say it was running l8,,Then When It got here the orders were yet again freezing cold and they were ALSO not EVEN THE SAME ONES,so we get offered a free meal each next time we ORDERED ,AND tbh with u i didn't think iwould yet after a few months and THEN after some severe deliberation I ORDEREDstupidly again tonight I have now waited over an hour and half to phone 2b told that it's on its way that was basically 45 mins ago,,n YES I AM PAYING FOR THIS AND NO THEY'VE NOT EVEN OFFERED TO TAKE DELIVERY MONEY BACK AND WHEN I ASKED about the delivery fee being returned as it's like r quid n the manager's attitude was to come on the phone and basically tell me that I was getting no refund and he was cancelling the order #WOULDNOTRECCOMMEND

I ordered on the website expecting it to be pretty quick, as it was a collection. It wasn't until after the order is paid for, that it tells you how long it will be. I was advised it would be 30mins to collect! As I was only 10mins, I went to the shop. It was empty and the guys didn't seem overly busy. They were able to make the order almost immediately. There is nothing German about this place. Its typical kebab, not German style, the pitta is your cheap catering type. I presume they are trying to ride on the coat tails of GDK. For me this is a standard kebab shop. The portion size is good, compared to the cost. It's decent quality. I had a large mixed kebab. The lamb was a bit tough and over cooked but for a pretty cheap, standard kebab, you got a decent amount. The salad was fresh. It's an OK kebab shop and I would try it again.

This place is absolute rubbish. I ordered my food and it never showed up. And even if it did the delivery was 2 hours ahead of when I ordered even though iam an 11 minute drive away. Do NOT order from here, mailbox on phone line full and no updates on just eat. Horrible

Large mixed German donner was huge and tasty! Very kind customer service ; back here the second time now, will be back again for sure.

German kebab was good. So much stronger than pita

They had no forks in the shop when I asked for one but they went above and beyond to get me one. Chicken tikka kebab was spot on too. Well deserved 5 stars cheers xx

Donner kebabs, special house wings (a must try), pizzas, milkshakes and icecreams- amazing portion sizes. I’d probably call their milkshakes thickshakes though..😂
