Really friendly staff, I was able to walk in and order and collect our pizzas as soon as they were made. Only complaint would be the lack of any seating while we're were waiting, but their front of house is absolutely tiny, so there's no where that they could put seats. But it's something to bear in mind if you're going to order and collect in person. Other than that, good times. 👍😁

The worst Pizza Hut branch I’ve ever been to. Pizza was falling apart and staff are very unhelpful. I now use Morningside branch even though it’s further away.

Incredible pizza hut. We ordered with 10 minutes left feeling bad for being so late. At collection the man working came out and told us one pizza is stuffed crust since they didnt have pan, but he explained it so nicely! Truely top class took care of us even when he didnt have to. Cant out pizza the hut.

Good offer any small/medium pizza and bottle of juice for 5 pounds. Cheap price and perfect for lunch

Ordered deep pan. Base was soggy and undercooked. Staff attitude not good. Apparently Newington is the worst branch of Pizza Hut in Edinburgh

We ordered a pizza and the order was accepted! The order status then was out for delivery and now it says it’s been delivered but no delivery attempt has been made. Very disappointed!

Always been good for me. Delivery is quick and friendly too, and the food arrives hot and looking good.

Able to get a pretty cheap pizza for cheap. But normally not great quality and extremely varied on taste. Sides are way over priced and never taste good. I would only go for a cheap, late night drunken pizza.

You should teach your delivery drivers a Little bit of grammar. I ordered a pizza and when I asked the guy to leave it in front of my door he told me no so I asked him to leave my pizza on the stairs and leave. I was going to take my pizza once he was out of the building. While I was going to open my door to go downstairs I heard him coming upstairs. I closed the door of course because I care for my safety and his safety and he started complaining because I “forced” him to come upstairs while I literally told him to leave it on the floor.

Phoned to order our pizzas as a Friday night treat with my daughter- we usually collect our order but understand in current circumstances that is not possible but when we ordered at 6.20pm this evening we were told it might take up to 2 hours but never turned up and tried phoning them to see what had happened and no one answered the phone so one very upset 10 year old who is very hungry after waiting 3 and a half hours for no pizza???? Terrible service .....

ABSOLUTELY APPALLING ATTITUDE!!! These people who work in this particular branch of Pizza Hut have absolutely no sense of customer service at all. They simply slam the phone when you follow up on your order and don't want to admit that they've made a mistake in your order. Horrible food, horrible attitude.

horrible pizza hut branch, customer service support is non existent, didn't deliver the food. And was told the food would be with me in 35-45 minutes but had to call them after more than an hour later. Avoid pizza hut and pick either papa johns or dominos.

The worst possible service pizzas don’t get delivered they don’t answer the phone no matter how many times you call but they will still charge your debit / credit card for the cost of the pizzas that don’t get delivered then you have the hassle of having to phone customer service to try to get a refund I would definitely avoid ordering a pizza from the newington Pizza Hut shop

I don't know how this franchise outlet is still going. Awful quality pizza, almost transparent in some places, barely any cheese or sauce. Delivered the wrong order first time, I was told they'd make a new order but ended up getting the cold pizza which went out an hour earlier. Stone cold and like cardboard. Ice cream had completely melted on the hottest day of the year. Really bad customer service from the store and it takes 2 weeks to get a refund which you have to call another number for. Awful, awful, awful.

Ordered my pizza 2 hours ago and still blot him great, called them at least 15 times and get cut off. I now need to request a refund through my bank. I would strongly recommend keeping clear of this place

Didn't deliver our order. We ordered at 9.45pm, by 10.45pm we were calling them to ask where our order was but no one was answering the phone. In the end me and my friend drove to the shop to find out what was going on. The staff member in the shop called the delivery driver who told him that he left with our order at 10pm and would be delivering "in ten minutes" this was now after 11pm! The order would be freezing cold and we should definitely not have to wait that long for a delivery. The only positive about this experience is that the staff member re-made our order and was very helpful.

Waited 2.5 hours and it never showed up. Called the restaurant and after about 30 of constantly called go though to a guy who just said it's on the way. 30 layer called again and no answer, has to go though the support hotline to get someone to pick up. Guy said it was on its way ( it had been 2 hours already) but he would check with the driver and call back. 30 minutes later still no call. So had to call the hotline a few times until someone finally processes a refund claim for me... Don't go here if you actually want to receive your pizza...

Ordered from here on Sunday 07/04/19, paid £14.99 for a Pizza, only to arrive and find the Pan base ordered wasn’t available, and they had given me an Italian base pizza instead, really disappointed, no apology, no price reduction, etc. Will not got there again, and will not recommend.

Ordered a small pizza at 9, given a 9:45 wait time. They changed it to 10:15 later, phoned them at 11:00 to find out where it was. "We don't have that order. Wait, I found it. We've not made it yet. It'll be 45 minutes?" Little apology, no offer of discount or voucher (for a 3 hour wait till midnight). Get your pizza somewhere else or go hungry.

ordered a pizza online, was over an hour late, called the shop 15 times every 2 mins and no answer.....went back in the next week and told them about my bad experience "oh yeah we were busy that day, we dont answer phones when its busy" that was the last time I have ordered from there....

Do not order a pizza from here - delivery service is appalling twice it has taken nearly 2 hours for an order to arrive - will never use again. Pizzas were cold and absolutely disgusting - we tried one slice and threw 3 pizzas straight into the bin they were so bad - I’m surprised this place has any customers left - save your money or go elsewhere.

On new year Eve coming to the shop at 21:15 checking the menu then waiting to place the order, the staff walk by me as if I am invisible. Then after some time I asked them when are you going to take my order, they just replied that they are closed. The door sign was open, the website said open till 23'00 and the ......... were watching me waiting to place an order and they just not bothered to say they are closed untill I have to ask them.

Placed an order on 26/12/18 at 7:45pm, sat up until midnight, ORDER DID NOT ARRIVE!!! COMPLAINT raised with Pizza Hut, do not order from here! Absolute joke!

This place is ridiculous. Rather than order from here, take your money set it on fire, wait around for 3 hours then make yourself some toast, because atleast that way you save yourself sitting listening to a phone ring out 20 times.

The worst pizza hut known to man... If they eventually deliver your order you have a 50/50 chance on it being right. last 3 orders have all been wrong. Its like what i would imagine pizza day at nursery being like but they would actually produce a better outcome than this branch.

Twice I have had terrible service from this Pizza Hut. First time the pizza dough was undercooked, and one of the things I ordered was missing. This time, I recieved my order late with 2 items missing. I tried calling the store 5 times with no answer! So now out of pocket!

I ordered and collected my two pizzas in the store. It takes approximatley 20 minutes. I was there on a monday evening. The staff is nice and friendly the pizzas were delicious. So i see no reason to give less than five stars :)

Awful restaurant - ordered for a home delivery about 5 times (yes I am the mug and stupid) - at least 4 of those time including tonight over an hour late sometime 2 hours (although I think the record was 2.5) and normally food stone cold. Phone them up and every time they say they are just busy apologise and say it will be with you soon (which it's not) - they are so bad and I will not be going back. Should have sacked them off after 2nd time.

3 hour wait for a pizza, the store don't answer the phone when trying to get an update when it finally arrive the food was cold couldn't return it for a new order as it would tomorrow by the time they would redeliver it. Store told there own customer service team it would be 35 minutes however still had to wait an hour after being told this.

Took two hours to arrive when they said it would be coming in 30 minutes. We tried to call them multiple times from multiple devices but there was no answer. It arrived in soggy cardboard that was falling apart. The pizza inside looked and tasted two days old and it was cold. Usually I ignore reviews and shake them off as one bad experience but do yourself a favour and just don't order from here, so many other people in these reviews have had the same happen to them. I don't plan to order from here ever again. I don't usually write reviews but if anything maybe I'll be able to save people the frustration of ordering from here and the complete waste of money it is.

My order was over an hour late, wrong and cold. They have your number and email address but fail to keep you up to date. Their number rings out so we had already arranged other food by the time they delivered. My official complaint to Pizza Hut was met with a stock response and I was unable to take it further via the link in their email. I believe they do offer a £10 voucher for late orders but apparently not to me.

Always makes me sad to leave a poor review - but after many orders for work events, I have to conclude that the staff are just incompetent or don't care whatsoever. We've never had an order a.) be delivered on time or b.) contain what we ordered via the online portal. How hard can it be guys?

JUST AVOID!!!! I placed an order for a pizza and a Ben & Jerry's ice-cream (4.99£) yesterday afternoon (27.8.17). After an hour and a half a very rude driver delivered a cold pizza and a melted ice-cream. Before this delivery he phoned me three times to ask about my address, as obviously he had a wrong one, and then he demanded from me to walk where he had parked - half a mile from my flat- to get the pizza!! After my refusal, he finally arrived with the melted to milk ice-cream and the cold pizza! I returned the ice-cream back (far too hungry to return the pizza), calling at the same time to the store explaining the situation. The man on the phone apologized and offered to send me a new Ben & Jerry's ice-cream. After 28 hours and 4 phone calls later, I am still waiting for this bloody ice-cream! Staff on the phone was really rude, the driver was rude, they claimed no proof of my delivery/orders/phone calls etc. as they are totally unorganized! It is just your word against theirs!!! AND THEN THEY LIE ABOUT SENDING IT TO ME!!!! DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN!!

Appalling service, delivery person was so rude, saying cannot wait even for 2 min for me to get to the gate from my apartment. The managers support this behaviour and have no decency to apologise. I will never ever go there!

I ordered a pizza along with a side on July 10 2017, I waited over an hour for my pizza to arrive in which I ordered a Margherita w/ sweetcorn and when it came it was a Veggie Pizza and it was cold aswell, I phoned the shop and the woman (Manura) who picked it up apologized and gave me a 25 pound credit for me to order next time, the next day I phoned in the shop to place my order worth of the 25 credit said the woman wasn't there and there was no "proof", I told him she gave me her name and that was enough proof he still wouldn't believe me and told me to call tomorrow, so I phoned in today to call up and the same guy picked up and when I told him about the 25 credit he said he's going to change that decision and only give me a replacement pizza, I was raging at that point because I waited three days to get my correction and then he gives me this behaviour like I am some sort of child, Please take into consideration. Rest assured I will follow up.

DO NOT order from here during the week - twice now food has taken over an hour to arrive. Today its been close to two hours and still no food. So to anyone reading this please order from somewhere, anywhere else.

Ordered over an hour ago. No answer when calling them several times and when I called the help desk they asked a thousand questions just to be told they are not on the same system so cannot check where my order is. Edit: After ordering pizza elsewhere and eating it, the Pizza Hut delivery guy eventually turned up 2.5 hours later and said sorry for the wait and then looked confused when I turned him away.

Compared to previous experience before 2008 the order i recieved last night was bland... Not to mention they ran out of large pizza bases so tried suggesting i get more pizza for the same price (2 medium instead of a large)... I dont look for quantity i look for quality.

Avoid by all means. First impression was good as they delivered within 20-30 minutes, however the pizza had poor taste and was scarce with toppings.

Never will eat from Pizza hut again poor quality and disgusting customer service they should shut down. There was no cheese in the cheesy bites also too much tomato sauce less veggies added hard base took over an hour and 20 mins when told 40 mins they made a major mistake on one of the pizza and had to wait another 45 mins for it to be redelivered pizza hut is not what it used to be.

This Pizza Hut is awful. I ordered at 520 for a pizza to be delivered at 8. We waited till 830 then called, and were told that it would come at 9. Then at 9 we were told it would be another 20 minutes. So we waited an extra hour and twenty minutes for a pizza we ordered two and a half hours early. The lady on the phone was NOT helpful and did not care that we had been waiting. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM PIZZA HUT AGAIN.
