Kings Garden in North Tyneside

Hemos utilizado esto muchas veces en el pasado y nunca hemos tenido ningún problema, pero cuando llamé por teléfono esta noche a las 6 pm y pedí un poco más de £ 18 . Tuve que volver a llamar dos veces y preguntar si mi pedido estaba en camino... y ella explicó que habían empleado a un nuevo conductor y que se había perdido... y la segunda vez dijeron que lo volverían a hacer y lo enviarían directamente... así que cuando finalmente llegó justo antes de las 9 de la noche de hoy llamamos por tercera vez... para decir que era demasiado tarde para comer ahora... ya que mi esposa está discapacitada y también es diabética... y dijo que tenía una buena mente para pedir una comida gratis por esto y la mujer no se disculpó... se rió pensando que era una broma y dijo que le dirá a su jefe... no puedo creer que hubiera ni siquiera una disculpa... de hecho, será muy decepcionante. 🙁🙁

Amazing food and service! Our favourite chinese takeaway in the area. We order food from here on a weekly basis and we re never disappointed!

Ordered food for 8.30, it hadnt arrived by 9.05, fair enough, saturday night bound to be busy. They said the driver couldnt find the address, again, fair enough but obviously the food would be cold, they assured me they would cook it fresh. The food turned up 15 mins later, freezing cold. Been going there for years, not going back, dont like being lied to and paying for food to put it straight in the bin.

I used to get takeaways from here years ago but I stopped to use someone who delivered. I got a menu saying that they deliver and thought I'd give it a go. The wan ton soup was OK, a bit salty but OK. The BBQ spare ribs were not BBQ. I can't even guess what they were and the Singapore chow mein was quite oily and had spam or something similar in it. Quite disappointing overall.

La comida familiar se convirtió en desastre. Tenía picante chow mein de Singapur que tenía básicamente lonchas de pollo y muy pocas y gambas eran las más pequeñas que he visto. Sin salsa alguna, muy soso. La salsa de pollo y frijoles negros para mi hijo, que normalmente come todo lo que quedaba más de la mitad, ya que el pollo y la salsa eran horribles. Solo fui aquí porque el Waiho chino favorito en el pasillo del bosque cerró los lunes desafortunadamente y la familia creía que era un Chinkies. Pero nunca más de este llamado chino. Las mujeres en el mostrador incluso insistieron en buscar un cambio de diez centavos, ya que me faltaban 20 peniques para darle la cantidad correcta.

He usado este chino más o menos cada semana durante 2/3 años. Los especiales de la hora del almuerzo del jueves / viernes son de excelente valor y obtienen mucho dinero por su dinero. Los sábados suelen esperar una entrega, pero la comida siempre está fresca y caliente. Chica detrás de mostrador siempre educada y amable. Definitivamente lo recomendaría.

I had friends around who I hadn’t seen in a while and we thought we’d get Chinese. With kings garden being on my doorstep and never having problems there we ordered from there. Where it went wrong, the lady told me it would be 45mins to and hour which wasn’t an issue. It’s a Saturday I understand it’s busy etc, it got to over an hour wait so I rang asking how much longer in which I got told 5 minutes, we waited a further 20 mins in which there was no sign. I then rang again to be told my food has been ready and sitting under the hot light as they’re waiting for the driver. By this point we had waited 90 mins, I got no apology for the delay just it will be with me soon. By this point I rang and told them I will go and get it instead so I got changed and actually went to the shop, leaving my friends alone in my house, I said is there anything you can give me for waiting so long she said would you like it for free in which I replied yes please and then got told she can’t do that!! When I got there there the delivery man had actually left with my food even though they knew I was coming to collect it, I then had to wait an extra 10 mins for him to come back. I got the food home to open it and it was freezing... chips were soggy and super dry, rice was freezing cold, curry sauce which had skin on and cold not forgetting they forgot our drinks. I then rang to say it was cold and the lady said it had just been cooked about 20/25 mins ago and stated they will come and get my food and you can have a refund, but can’t have both!! I think this is absolutely disgraceful service. I rang at 8:45pm asking for my pop to be delivered since I’ve paid for it and it’s now 21:13pm and I’m still waiting. I’ve never had a bad experience with this takeaway it’s always been exceptional but from now on I will be going elsewhere.

We get food here on weekends and it's always lovely! Peking style chicken and singapore vermacelli are the best.

Visited kings garden on my lunch break last week...the lunch time menu is scant and the food was absolutely appalling. To top it off the girl on the front desk was abrupt and borderline aggressive when I told her she'd over charged me.

Rice and chips ok. Salt and pepper chicken very plain and dry..The king prawns chow mein was not nice. Very watery and bland. Wouldn't use this again.

I've been getting takeaways from the Kings Garden for eighteen years and never had a problem. At peak times there can be delays but phoning in your order in plenty of time prevents an excessive wait. There is a very wide choice of food and if you want a variation they will try to oblige. The Kings Garden is "takeaway " only, there are no tables but there are seats in the waiting area.

Just a quick review , used this place far too often , but quality and service has dropped considerably, food was luke warm , a dish missing and another incorrect, called to explain , but lacked any response or effort to rectify

Ordered two meals, cooked quickly and tasted great. Pleasant staff. You can park outside or they do delivery. Would definitely return.

Our new favourite Chinese take away , massive portions lots of meat and veg very tasty , best kong po duck I had in Newcastle !

Tried numerous times then gave up.food cold,greasy,fatty. Rude,bad mannered staff. Would eat there for free. Disgusting

Been using this Chinese for 10 year and must say it is fantastic. Chef specials are all great and it is very reasonably priced. Dishes taste different depending what you order not like some Chinese takeaways where it all tastes the same with minor differences. They will alter dishes to your taste i.e extra spicy etc. Portions are big and meat is always nice and tender. My favourite is Peking style beef and bbq ribs to start. This alone is enough for 2. Keep up the good work

Moved to the area and looked for a nice Chinese for over 2 months. We finally found it. Always great food and service. So glad we found it :)
