Don't bother! Food took nearly 2 hours to arrive when they're advertising 25 - 40 mins for delivery. Won't be ordering again.

Was lovely again but chips were cold and onion rings were burnt

Food was over cooked, felt like food had been reheated. Not a good experience

Delivery was fantastic however the food it self I was so disappointed, the chips were so dry and the whole order was cold

The large cod and chips were superb, red hot, fresh, and tasty. Last time I ordered I received chips with the light bite fish, but not this time. maybe an error on my part as I'm not sure if it's supposed to come with chips.

definitely the worst fish and chips I've ever had. ended up putting most of it in the bin. the batter was sorft, bo crunch in it at all. Will never oder from here again. DISGUSTING!!!!

Fish tasted fresh, nice chips and peas.

arrived 30 minutes late cold and half the order was missing. Rang the shop and was told they were very busy they wouldn't delivery the missing items and couldn't refund. shocking service AVOID.

The food was good once it arrived, however the mushy peas were missing off both of the fish and chip meals . These stated they can with mushy peas but none provided. Not a massive problem but slightly disappointing.

They got my order wrong then were unable to do anything about it when I rung them.

Safely the worst chippy ive ever had, 4 scabby chips, the most nuked pie in history and a sausage as hard as Vinnie Jones...

The fish itself was nice but the batter wasn't crisp at all and tasted like from frozen. Chips were slightly rubbery and mushy peas pretty bland. For the price it was quite surprising.

I ordered a large cod and chips it was the smallest fish and chips think I’ve ever seen and it was freezing cold to say it was 2 seconds up the road I normally collect but today was poorly so decided to treat myself as I had discount stamps im just glad I didn’t pay £15 for such a small amount and cold food

My husband has just brought us back Fish & Chips and the batter was disgusting and inedible. Very dissapointed when it was £20+ , won't be coming back again!!

The food was incorrect and when we phoned the restaurant to complain they said that there was nothing they could do because we booked it through just eat! Just eat didn't make the packing error, the fish and chip shop did! Therefore, it was down to the shop to fix the problem, not fob us off! Very poor service.

I ordered a family meal from the fish and chip shop and when it was delivered by just eat, items was missing. I called the shop to explain that the items where missing but they fobbed me off and said you need to take it up with just eat and they can't do anything, even though it was there mistake and not just eats! Shocking customer service.

Burnt sausage. It was literally black with abit of batter. Forgot my drink. Dead chips. Just generally not worth the money.

I wasn't going to leave a review, but I definitely need to tell you that the food was disguised, I had fish & chips oil repeating on me, chips tasted old fish were okay. Don't order at lunchtime it's the worst time!! Overpriced.

Wow, what a lovely meal, the Large Cod Fillets were massive. all the food was tasty, hot and fresh. Thank you for reading my note, I look forward to next week and will get a nice order again and support a good honest small local business. keep up the good work guys.

Just got battered jumbo sausage and chips , chips must of bin from yesterday and the chips the day before NEVER AGAIN I'd avoid at all costs , someone clearly can't read in the shop I put on the note SCRAPS PLEASE order arrived NO SCRAPS which is a blessing probably

A nice place to hang out and eat some food and some peace and quiet. It does cost a pound extra if you want to sit in but it's worth it if it's cold and wet. The food is usually always hot and fresh, delicious and filling.

Nice meal, slight issue with sauce mix up. Couldn't be bothered to get it changed but I'm sure they would have 😊

Ordered mushy peas and got curry sauce. Food was cold. Fish was substandered had better from here before not sure what’s happened to quality. Needless to say I’m really disappointed!

Unfortunately, the driver couldn’t find us. It resulted in our food being freezing :( such a shame as it was clearly not the restaurant’s fault but the delivery drivers.

The Fish was lovely, but sadly the chips let it down.

Battered sausage was the weirdest most u pleasant I've ever had, odd dusty texture a d rock hard batter, inedible. Never had a problem with something as simple as a battered sausage and no idea how they managed to make it so unpleasant Sausage is cheap and nasty even by chip shop standards. Food arrived quickly and that was only good thing Chips burnt.

This is my go to chippy, I think it's better than most good value to and we'll as quality

Driver couldn’t find my address phoned me I explained were I lived but had to go too the end off my street to find him he was 20 yards away and when I got the food unfortunately it was cold this is the first time I have had trouble not the fish shops fault

10 mins late is not a problem , delivery guy was very pleasant and polite , loved the food .

fish and battered sausage were best had from anywhere in a long while unfortunately the chips let it down very dry

Always great food, delivered on time!

Fish looks like it’s come out of a supermarket box and cold. Chips ok. Battered sausage was nice but mush peas had way to much salt in them couldn’t even eat them. Will stick to Foxwood lane chippy

Fish very nice small portion of fish though far too many hard chewy and overcooked chips. Tasted reheated as others have commented. The fish was good, but not worth the price for what it was.just a visit to York so not really much to be done.

Absolutely delicious Haddock and chips. The batter was crispy, the chips were just what I was craving (proper chip shop chips) and both were still very hot! First time ordering form Kings and it defiantly won’t be the last!

Good selection of vegetarian and vegan options available, cooked separately and to order. Chips are pretty good, aren't they.
