Old fashioned pub that had a family atmosphere

Popped in there staff really friendly,nice atmosphere.

Service was brilliant. would of stayed longer but felt very much like visiting ( holiday folk) not welcome by one couple who was obviously local. Mores the pity as it's the nearest walking distance from west caister.

Quiet, but landlady was welcoming.

Brilliant pub, very friendly staff too, we walked in being on holiday and where instantly welcomed, the lady behind the bar was lovely which made us feel welcome. The dog was incredible and very friendly so of course we made a fuss being dog lovers. Lovely atmosphere here and if we go back to caister, we will definitely return to this pub.

Saw an Iron Maiden Tribute band there so can not comment on food but group brilliant and room large with good view and sound. Bar service was good.

Great selection of beer, including my favourite, Atlantic. Staff are super friendly. They have recently added a bar billiards table, which is great fun. Often have live music, recommended.

Excellent service well worth it.

Went to watch the euro final good atmosphere. Could do with an upgrade to the tv. 👍

This is proper local pub. The staff are friendly and polite. They have a good range of beers which are well kept. There is a very large car park just across the road. They have live music but I'm not sure how often as lockdown has only just ended, but I will definitely be using it again. There is music on a Friday evening from about 4 in the afternoon until closing time, and usually on a Saturday night from about 8. I saw a poster in the window advertising a regular Sunday raffle of "Surf & Turf" (fish & meat) but you must be in the pub on the day to collect your prize.

Brilliant with great friendly people

The pub could do with a bit of TLC inside to be honest but the Landlord and staff are more than welcoming and friendly. Prices are reasonable and a large car park at rear. Live football shown. I don't live locally as here on holiday but each time I want to watch the football I come here as the Haven Caister-on-Sea caravan park does not show sport and the Kings Arms is a 5min drive away. Haven't been here for food but didn't see menus so I'm quietly confident they don't offer food apart from bar nibbles.

Always has entertainment, wide range of drinks and snacks.

Proper old school pub with fantastic staff. Get around the fireplace in winter and enjoy the £3 house doubles!

We always go to this quaint pub as the beer is good and the atmosphere is very friendly. once you have been they remember you and will always start pulling your drinks, they are ready for you to sit down with. Brilliant place well worth a visit whilst on holiday.

Went in there to watch the England game. Great table service and the staff and landlord were really good. They care alot about the beer they serve and making sure it's too notch. Would recommend the Iron Maiden Trooper. Excellent session beer.

A great pub in this lovely market town. Our beers were all well looked after and poured well and our meals were plentiful and filling. Recommend the veggie burger ...... go on give it a go !

Friendly bar lady, pot of tea for £1:50 and a nice atmosphere. Oh and a free car park just over the road. A lovely quiet (in the afternoon) traditional pub to meet friends.

Good quality food served quickly and with a smile. The young lady who looked after us was very helpful in explaining the dishes and the concept of the steaks coming out on a hot stone for us to cook to our personal preference.

Good beer and service even with a big crowd in, watched "the Bloodshake Chorus" live in the function room, really good live set worth going to see if you get the chance.
