The Dolphin Bar in Great Yarmouth

The food was lovely and reasonably priced. Everyone very friendly just a nice chilled atmosphere. Dogs welcome too we be going back.

Wait 45 mins to be told we do not have your choice. After 65 mins finally get a meal. Food tepid at best. Will not use again

Great pub, excellent prices. Staff are all friendly and just an overall great atmosphere. We stayed in a bungalow in the long beach estate and would always look to go to the dolphin bar for a drink.

Only popped in briefly for a drink on our way back from the beach. I hate to say it but the beer I had was awful. Flat and tasted terrible.

Great Pub, Winter opening hours now in operation. Friday 12pm til 7pm, Bingo sales start at 1pm, Eyes Down at 1.30pm. Saturday 12pm til 7pm. Sunday 12pm til 7pm, Bingo sales start at 12pm, Eyes down at 12.30pm.

At a lost end with our children’s half term being this week and everyone else’s being last week. We found this place on our last night, very welcoming. Home cooked food a must try if your staying in the area 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Me and my partner came to Hemsby for a week long holiday. We came in for something to eat and a few drinks. We ordered Lasagne and whole tail scampi. The food came out piping hot. There was plenty on the plate and the food tasted very good. I think the prices were also very reasonable too, each meal was under £10. We also ordered the special dessert and apple crumble and those too, were very tasty. There was not a lot of people in there as it is out of season but not empty. I can imagine in season this place is filled nicely with people playing pool and enjoying themselves. Overall a great place to visit, don't miss out!

I have to rate 5☆ on this one anything less is a lie ! Beer £4.50 a bottle ok I've paid more! There food is cheap compared to majority of places and better quality than most love there burgers and full English fry ups Some good music singers very entertaining some not so and very loud so it's hard to order drinks etc but overall good - Very friendly staff To be honest it's very close to one of the most nicest family friendly pubs I've been too I found no fault other than x2 overly loud bands Love the place!!!!!

Such a disappointment today 20/08! We have always walked to The Dolphin from our caravan park in Hemsby taking relatives and friends for lunch. Today we ordered our meal and after waiting over 45 minutes my Husband went into the bar to enquire where our meal was. He was told apparently the chef had told staff there would be at least a 45 minute delay on the food, we weren’t told this and after a further 20 minutes our food arrived. No apologies from staff and my burger was actually cold, we didn’t complain as we didn’t want to wait any longer! It’s not as if it was exceptionally busy and the order was a microwave lasagna and a cheese burger! No explanation as to why it took 1 hour and 5 minutes to deliver a simple meal. So disappointed this time!!!

What a lovely place to visit, the staff was friendly and helpful and had a cheerful disposition. The food was amazing!!! We came back 3 nights in a row just wish we has visited sooner on our holiday and not just at the end. I have a disabled child in a pushchair and there was accesable doorways and plenty of room at the table to sit his buggy. They have evening entertainment and a play room for kids. If your ever in hemsby make sure you visit dolphin bar you won't be disappointed

Great selection of drink. Food was amazing and reasonably priced. Entertainment was good. Large TV screens for visitors wishing to watch sports.

Dolphin Bar was beyond what we thought. The food was amazing and had large portions, well worth the price! Very kind staff who provided a great and friendly atmosphere. Dining area, bar and toilets all clean and well maintained. Would definitely recommend!!!

Not as good as last visit, tv' too loud so gave the place a loud atmosphere where everyone was shouting.

We went camping for a weekend and the dolphin bar was a very short walk from our site , the staff are very friendly and welcoming it could do with a little update but it reminded me of childhood holidays 🙂we will definitely be going back

Lovely place really nice staff and great food. Long Beach camping and touring park nearby only 5 minutes walk. Lovely site and great beach would definitely go back there

Really good atmosphere, food very good and the jam sponge to die for.

Very poor service. Had to wait hour and forty minutes for meal. .even after complaining four times it was a joke. Didn't bother for afters really poor . They blame it on Shef as he only does one meal at a time

Top camp site and bar Been coming here over 15 years now good pint and bar meals i travel 840 miles round trip for hemsby and its attractions most years pre covid. Highly recommended!!

Generally good. Had a bad experience with the food order on our last night but they refunded our money without quibbling. Looking forward to going back in the summer though.

As our first season as a caravan owners we've been taken back by the staffs kindness and friendliness (we love Kim💕). All staff are amazing. In light of covid they've adapted, implemented and produced what Is needed. Thankyou. Cannot wait to see you guys next season. (#E4) ❤

Love this place. Really friendly & welcoming. A decent selective menu also offering a child's menu. It's also very dog friendly. Good entertainment in the evening. If you're lucky enough to be there when Graham Mcgrotty is playing, you will have a fantastic night. Very talented guitarist. I would highly recommend a visit.

Great bar with a lively atmosphere and great food. It has entertainment varying from Karaoke, to pool and arcade games. It also has a play area outside for kids of any age

This place is apporling the staff are rubbish the food was burnt and the toilets are disgusting this place is also outdated and I would never EVER recommend this place to anyone oh and the staff are horrible

Normally fantastic...the best around the area by far and would normally get 4 stars but on this instance it let itself down a bit...I can only guess it was because as it was Good Friday and the queues were 25 people long that they rushed a bit and that's why both the chips and my cod were underdone. Like I say though normally fantastic and (on a quieter day) I'd definitely return there as I have done many times before.
