Amazing chip shop. Fish is the best we’ve had in years. We use it daily. Amazing staff… 4 of the most attentive chip dispensers in the world. Chips and curry is my favourite and my mate has the sausage. Also if you want to see a pudding being tapped out of its tray in the most genius way, you must try here. Really good at tapping puddings. Probably Masterclass. Seriously though…. Amazing chippy and great staff.

The fish and chips taste nice but how can u eat it on a plate which has dirt and old food remnants on it.this has happened on more than two occasions so it is not a one off accident it is just disgusting - isn't there a food and cleanliness standard in UK?Will never come again.the elderly customers that come there probably can't see the dirt on their plates and can get sick.

Amazing service friendly staff and amazing food the fish and chips is the best around. Food can't be beaten.

This was the worst dining experience ever. Filthy and cannot stress enough that it should be avoided. We both got food poisoning and had to get off the tram to be sick. If I never see this place again I will be happy. I have seen a lot of good reviews for this place but can't see how. Dirty, unclean and the food was an insult to human consumption. Avoid.

Went in for fish n chips for hubby and i and a kids meal .....what an absolute disgrace everything was dry n overcooked £12 straight into bin as we couldn't eat it ....a rare treat for us with not alot of money im so upset

Popped into this place for a quick take away snack of Cod and a barmcake, never again, the fish was overcooked turning the batter deep brown and having the flavour of burger and sausage, I could still taste the affect some four hours later, never again..

Popped in here as kids wanted a chippy tea and the better chip which is at the market was closed. Mushy peas was dry tasted tinned chips tasted like peanuts only good thing was it was cheap won't be going back in

How many times have I walked past this cheap eats restaurant in Altrincham and not been able to see through the steamed up windows as I head towards the Market Square? They’re opaque because of the number of people in there having all manner of café-style staples in addition to fish and chips. Space to sit down or up stairs and with table service to boot. At £6.30 for a very nicely cooked cod and chips with a drink I now understand why it is perpetually full (and steamed up) even though the seating is far from comfortable!

The fish & chips located at the heart of Altrincham centre so you don't easily miss it. Food was quite good and the fish very tasty. There are set meal of the day, you may save a Pound to visit on specific day for this reason. Recommended.
