Very friendly, good value, delicious fish and chips.

Long established fish shop. Good value. Staff are always welcoming.

I went here on the 24th February after watching my team West Brom again st Hull,there were 4 of us and the chips and the sausage in batter were to die for, absolutely delicious and served by a delightful young lady who went out of her way to help us,thank you,will deffo be returning if I go to Hull again,lovely place and lovely staff.Thank you Paul.👍👍

Love this place usually, get chips for my kids here. Went today and asked if I could have a portion of chips and three cartons for the kids to eat them out of and the woman there just seemed annoyed by this. I wasn't bothered that she wanted to charge us for the cartons (they've never done that before) but she was just rude so didn't bother. I will go back again because we've been loads of times and it's been great and the staff are normally super friendly. She was not.

We dont use this much, usually only on the way from Hull Fair or a footy match, We usual buy the same things each time...Patty and chips with gravy, sausage and chips with mushy peas. They have always been tasty, one day we will try the fish and then maybe update the stars :)

Just got large fish n chips, the fish tastes foul and metallic because it has so much skin on. And the batter is soggy and soft. Ends are crispy but push down with fork in the middle and it's swimming in grease. Mushy peas are really watery. Not an experience I will repeat or recommend. Waste of £13.

I’ve been coming to Kingfisher for years now and thought I’d write a review to share my thoughts. In summary, the food and service here is superb. The food is always cooked fresh, the batter is tasty and the chips cooked just right. Lovely and moist, just how I like it. The service is always with a smile and payment can be made with cash or card. Nothing more to say. Perfect!

Went for the first time today I was so impressed the shop did not smell of fish and the service was amazing I got a bit of most the menu and myself and kids loved it the Pattie was the best I have had in hull will definitely be going back

Usually nice place to eat but you can get under cooked chips at busy times when the football or rugby is at kc

I had the large fish, the batter was crispy and golden and made a perfect crunch as my 5p fork pierced through, the steam from the white haddock rose and the smell was heavenly. I then put my salt and vinegar drenched fish in my mouth and it tasted like angels tears. Then I had a swig of fanta and I felt like I'd been born again.

After passing past one night after work I stopped here for tea. Must admit one of the nicest fish and chips I've had. Highly recommend!

I come to this fish shop every 2 weeks when I visit my daughter who has just bought her first house in hull. The staff are excellent and quality of fish is excellent coming from a fishing town myself this is high praise well done and keep up your high standards.
