King Rooster in Camden

My wife and I had an overnight stay in London and this place was directly over the road to our hotel so we went across and I had a sizzling tower burger meal which included chips and a drink for £7 and my wife had a 9 inch create your own pizza again for £7. Food was lovely as we're the staff. Will definitely visit again when in the area. Top job guys. 👍

Had burger, chips and cold drink, all for £6.50. good portion sizes, tasty, good value. We had had a crap meal the night before (£18.09 per person) at a nearby hotel and came across the King Rooster whilst looking for an alternative.

These guys are the best! Always friendly, do their best to make sure you get what you ask for. Pizzas are excellent - well made, hot, good value - especially for the location.

Having had a full day out we wanted something quick and easy to eat back at the hotel. King rooster fitted the bill. A freshly prepared pizza was just what we wanted and at a very reasonable price. Would definitely visit again.

Staying at the Royal Scott Travelodge right across Kings Cross Road and on the Eurostar in the morning, we opted for a takeout from King Rooster. What a great find😋 We had 10 peri peri wings, 10 spicy wings and chips. The wings were cooked fresh for us by pleasant staff. Chip were normal Mcd's style, but hot. Just asked for some salt, they put salt, pepper, vinegar and mayonnaise in - great service! The chicken was, as expected hot (well, it was just cooked, wasn't it) and flavoursome. We thought that we were starving, but there was plenty left for a midnight feast! All for just under £15....in London. Great food and value. 👍👍👍 One to remember.

Excellent food, well cooked, hot and delicious. Great service, and very reasonably priced. Especially compared to a lot of, lesser, London eateries. Recommended.

We ordered the medium spice chicken wings and a pepperoni pizza, the pizza was delicious and cheesy but the wings... omg these are some of the best wings I have ever had!

We ordered here just because we were staying at the hotel opposite and we were not disappointed! The chicken wings are absolutely amazing and so flavoursome! 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Honestly, the only place I order wings from, and they respond back to my notes! you won't e disappointed and if you are, then I don't know what else to say.

ordered a takeaway and was charged, food didn’t arrive and all of my calls were blanked, will be chasing a full refund and compensation on top, this place is a joke and don’t ever order from here

Staying at Travelodge opposite this shop, cannot recommend it enough. Shop is very clean and friendly service. Both had chicken strips and fries, really tasty chicken coating, not greasy at all. Beats that famous name chicken shop hands down. Excellent easy dinner if you're staying in the travelodge. Will definitely be back on our next London trip.

Six spicy wings a number 8 and dr pepper pls. Grab the boys, whack inception on and watch that hangover disapprear. Except it doesnt disappear , youre gonna feel way worse after this meal but you do it every thursday anyway

I always love buying Fried Chicken, Spicy Wings, BBQ Wings, Nuggets from this great fast food place. They also make nice kebabs, chicken curry on rice, and Halal Burgers as well. The meal deal here is very reasonable. I am looking forward to having their food again soon.

There was not enough doner even though I ordered a large portion!

Every time it’s always late. It’s not a massive order jsut a pizza and wings still always late and it’s getting so annoying.

My food hasent even arrived, poor service!

Service was extremely poor, the driver could not find the correct Street. By the time I received the food the chips were not edible. I will never order from business again.

Food was ok. I ordered separate 8 wings but got 7 instead. Delivery time was great & early.

I was told my food would arrive around 18:35 which it hadn’t I called the restaurant who then told me it’s not late it will be here by 19:15 which is not the estimated time I was given. The staff who answered the phone was rude not only did it not come at 18:35 my food still hadn’t arrived at 19:15. I had to call the restaurant again who told me my food was on its way Which clearly is wasn’t as my food didn’t arrive until19:40 and when it did arrive it was cold. Totally unacceptable.

The chicken was really good, probably the best I have had. It was not greasy and it did not have too much batter. The garlic sauce was really good as well. I felt that the food had been prepared and packaged with a lot of care. Thank you.

Really disappointed! Ordered the seafood pizza as we like anchovies but pizza turned up without the anchovies. Called the restaurant and they told me they had no anchovies or black olive. When I asked why they did not call me all the said was they were too busy! Just simply not good enough a simple courtesy call would have been appreciated but clearly customer service is not important to them.

The delivery time stated that it would arrive at 1:00am and it had arrived at 12:30am which is great. The food was also top quality.

I’ve tried to contact the restaurant and just eat but have had no joy, I have two pieces of chicken missing and they sent me the wrong ice cream, they didn’t call me to say if they had the correct ice cream and if u wanted to take it off or change it plus it arrived half hour late which made it a total time of 1 hour 30 minutes and the food arrived cold.

Kebab portion was very small, peri wings are alright. Place was 5 minutes away took 1hr and 15minutes to deliver.

The food is top quality and consistent. However their delivery times are very long! But the food still arrives HOT! Great food nonetheless. I usually order chicken strips, BBQ ribs, and chicken fillet burger.

Although food arrived slightly late today it arrived warm and very tasty. I have been ordering from them for as long as I can remember and they are probably one of the most consistent takeaways out there. I just hope they don’t overstate on the delivery times next time. Other than that no complaints at all!

The mixed kebabs didnt taste very nice, the chicken was very greasy and hard and the lamb shish was very chewy. The spicy chicken wings and bbq chicken wings are nice.

Food was 25 minutes late, the driver then couldn't find address and they forgot to put the Pepsi in for one of the meals. Won't be ordering again.

I ordered shish kebab but when it was delivered I received chicken strips inside the naan. The Donner kebab was not in slices, it came as strips .

Food is over 20 minutes late and still has not arrived!

I typically buy food from the store itself as opposed to ordering online. Today was the first time I had decided to order and, whilst the quality of the food aligned with the excellency that you would get within the store, the delivery time was far from that. I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt and assume that I was unlucky on this particular occasion, but asides from that all was well.

Will never order from this place again, delivery was originally expected around 17:30, at around 18:00 I start to contact the restaurant and they then say the new expected delivery will be around 18:15, by 18:45 I have called the restaurant again, only to then be told the driver is 5 minutes away, finally I get my food at around 19:00. Customer service over the phone was horrible and the delivery time was abysmal, at this point I no longer even had an appetite for the food and had just wasted my money.

I had paid a lot of money for large box of kebab which only contained like 5 pieces whereas other shops give more than 5 pieces of kebab for there small option which I think was really unfair of chicken rooster as I spent my money on food which I could've got more of from another shop therefore, I don't think I would ever order from them unless they give justice to their customers who expect more.

I got garlic sauce instead of BBQ. Garlic breads was found on top of pizza. Apart from that everything was good

Got one of the burgers wrong and missed out a wrap. Didn’t even get a courtesy of a free replacement and had to wait an hour for the rest of the order to come with no free extras. I ordered from here because I know the food is good but the service I wasn’t happy with.

The restaurant is a 5 minute walk from my place yet the food took 1 hour to arrive and it was cold and not edible.

Order still has not arrived. The restaurant called me after over hour from when I placed the order to tell me they can't deliver as the bike suddenly broke down. Coincidently they gave me a call to tell me this after I contacted Just Eat to say my order still had not arrived.

Terrible service. For a restaurant that's about 15min away from where I live, it takes over 2hrs since the time of order to you receiving your food. They're always late and always gets one or two things wrong.

I was very disappointed with the food this time round. The chips ware soggy the quarter pounder was look like it was heated in a microwave. The restaurant staff did not read the message I left and ignored my requests.

NEVER BUYING FROM HERE AGAIN. I paid like £10 for a large meal and these people give my childlike portions. As well as that they smother my food in sauce that I didn’t order and squashed all my food together. Would highly recommend NOT buying from here unless you want to be ripped off.

The food arrived late, it had taken over an hour. Once we received the food it was the grilled wings was burnt and the pizza had chillys, which I didn't ask for. I have ordered before didn't have any problems, I am disappointed this time round.

This place is amazing. Their food is so freshly made. I am not related to this place as I was ay work and needed dinner at 1am. Can't believe how fresh and hot it was. I am truly satisfied with quality of food, price and service. Even the delivery was free plus very nice polite delivery guy. See you again soon

Food is always top notch from this place. Delivery time could do with improving however food quality is more important in my eyes and you can’t fault them for there food as it’s always top notch

Food was good but very late in delivery. Took over 35mins than the stated time. Had I known it would be this late, I would have collected it myself in half the time or not bothered to order.

Great food wings and chips wouldn’t eat donner kebab again

poor delivery service got a email confirmation at 16:26 saying food would be delivered at 17:15 but the my delivery time was updated to 17:45 and food arrived at 18:10. it is not the first time this happens to me when I other food to this place so be aware of it please.

Order was due at 01:05 called them at 01:15 they said it will be with you in a few minutes. 01:35 the " driver " arrives on push bike. Spends another 5 minutes chaining his bike up. Walked over gave me my food but no apology....

Ordered food at 6pm for it to arrive at 7.45pm! Which is a joke in itself as they are 10 minutes down the road from me. Delivery driver was nice and polite. Food was disgusting! Cold chicken burger with an awful tasting mayo. Catered to specific types of chicken as I have a fussy daughter at home which was good however the pieces of chicken were awful too. If you don't want to waste your money, avoid this place like the plague!!

Food is always late, even if you live literally down the road

Was staying in the Travelodge right opposite and just wanted something cheap and cheerful. Ordered a 12" pizza and got charged for a 15" which I pointed out. Very apologetic. Steady stream of customers came and went whilst I was waiting. Observing the staff they are clean and wore gloves when handling different food stuffs. Few tables inside of which two were taken up by 5 males. They had the look of being local and regulars and that this was their patch. This could be intimidating for some to be fair they were very polite, didn't swear and cleared up on their way out. The pizza was spot on to be fair.

Poor quality for what we ordered. Doner meat seemed really overcooked and rubbery. Had mixed doner kebab not much chicken at all and what was in 2 of them was really fatty. Naan wasn't great. Garlic Bread, Chips and dips were lovely though! Ordered out of easiness for a takeaway opposite budget hotel. Very disappointed for a family of hungry kids after travelling all day.
