King Kebab in Colchester

The food and service is so disappointing!! We had ordered aalu nimki and chatpatey. The aalu nimki was so greasy. All I can taste was mustard oil. There was no flavor of aalu nimki at all!!! Chatpatey was the same story. After 40 minutes of waiting, that was the kind of food we were served. Never coming back !!

I had a mix of burgers and Nepalese dishes. The food was all well presented and tastey. We really loved the dumplings and chow mein!

Wow. I don’t normally like kebabs. But me and my partner take it in turn to choose a date night. This week he chose a cozy nice in with a takeaway. The doner kebab was so tasty. Not greasy at all Salad was fresh and crispy Definitely recommend

Do not go here you will probably be very disappointed. I got an ordinary doner kebab and it smelled like actual garbage. Literally like a filled waste food bag and that's not exaggeration. It really put me off the food, however being the absolute crazy man I am, with no regard for my health, I took a bite, it tasted like a doner kebab at least but the smell was too much and I ended up just binning it anyway. I would never and have never gone here again, disgusting. My experience with the staff is being made to wait and just being looked at from the very visible kitchen until one specific person came to serve me, maybe they didn't all speak English but other than that the staff were friendly. Overall, for a place that boasts it's the king kebab, anywhere in Colchester is better than this establishment and I'm not entirely sure how they've stayed in business for this long. They're king of disappointment. Waste of time and waste of money.

Bought a couple of Donner Kebabs from this take away and never will return. There was no salad the pitta bread was not cooked, in fact I don't think it was even pitta bread, the meat was dry and the garlic sauce did not taste like garlic sauce. Easily the worst kebab my Wife and I have ever had. I would advise to avoid at all cost!!!!

The worst chicken donner kebab I have ever had. The chicken was completely tasteless and there was very limited sauce provided. Salad missed off order once delivered. Rang king kebab directly to ask if they could deliver it and the staff were extremely rude and hung up on me. I will never been returning.

rude and disrespectful employees, tried to confirm an online order over the phone and they hung up on me they denied even receiving the order but when I called the company that I ordered from they had said that they have so lied too never order from here

Shocking, over an hour and a half wait, rang to check time , rude and abusive staff! Steer clear terrible service

Paper all stuck to the wrap so completely in edible! When phoned to complain told it would be 45minutes to an hour wait for another one! I said this was to long as had already waited an hour to receive this one and that I wanted a refund only to be told they dont do refunds! Even though this cannot be eaten! Will not be ordering from here again! AVOID AVOID AVOID

Food was horrible wrong order waited 30 mins for our food felt sick after don’t go there save your money 😩

We had a takeaway from here for the family. Good quality food. Generous portion size. Good meal deal options.

I drove 3 hours to see my friend that lived locally to King Kebab and was excited to try their chicken due to his recommendation. Upon walking into the shop I was instantly told they were shut (it wasn't late), even though they had just served other people and the Open sign was lit in the window. Clear discrimination, wouldn't return.

Wanted to get some food in here late on a Saturday night, ordered meat and chips, saw them re-heat the meat in the microwave before trying to serve it to us. Asked the guy was it our food, he denied it at first, but when we pressed him he admitted he had re-heated our food and that he knew he shouldn't have. I promptly asked for a full refund, which was given. Would not eat or recommend this as a place to eat ever!!

Had heard good things about King Kabab but can't pretend I was impressed. It was all a bit amateurish, the young Asian girl serving seemed really out of her depth and the food just seemed warmed up on the griddle and shoved in a polystyrene box. There are much better establishments in town to use

The staff are so so rude and and bad belly from the meat when complaint they put the phone down I have never seen or had such rudeness from staff don't order from there unless u want to be ill
