King Balti Indian Takeaway in Weymouth and Portland

I wish I could give no stars!!! Our order was 2 hours late. Was originally meant to be delivered at 7:30, messaged for an update at 8pm to be told it would be here by 8:30. Still not arrived by 9:30 so called the restaurant to be told our order had been cancelled!!! We always order from here and never had an issue until tonight! Very very disappointed!!

Onion bhaji's overcooked. Rock hard. Keema nan, cold. Not the best from here. Shame. Has the standard dropped?

onion bahjis were barely warm and my order was missing the rice that would of gone with my curry and chips. very disappointing!!! but chicken madras was very nice

Always good quality, and spiced just as you would want it to be. Delivery was once a bit delayed, but they had the courtesy to phone and let us know, which is a rarity these days. Have used them several times and will continue to order from them

lamb was as chewy as an old boot, no flavour in the rogan josh. prawns in the dopiaza were like little pebbles, hard and tasteless. poppadoms were soggy. anything with potato in wasnt too bad but you can't really mess up a potato 🙄 ate as much as possible but most went to waste, too hungry and late to order anything else. absolute shame as they used to be very good

Naans were quite tough and hard, onion bhaji were solid, could even bite them! Curry was ok, for the price paid I would of expected a lot better quality

We were staying at Bowlease holiday park and king Balti confirmed they would deliver which was great. The food we had was really nice great flavours and my daughter said it was the best curry she has ever had! The food was hot on delivery and their delivery driver was on time and was very friendly If we come back one day we will definitely order again

tbf we appreciate that bank holiday Monday will be busy so that can be overlooked it was the fact the food was Luke warm and not great. sorry to complain and I just hope one of our guests at our guest house who also ordered wasn't too disappointed

We have had 2 outstanding curry’s from here before but sadly tonights left us with disappointment:/ we had flopadoms as when we got them they were tearing and soft. We didn’t get the same curry we did the last time we ordered the same thing and missed out on sauces with cold rice! Sadly we won’t be voting them to the next round

Since when was Tandoori chicken yellow and completely tasteless? No salad with it either. £55 for a whole person to go without what they asked for. Have been using King balti for years but will now be changing

Food was average, tikka chicken was little plain. overall it's not a bad Indian.

WORST IN WEYMOUTH. So bad. Everything cold.AWFUL food. Curry was more liquid hardly any meat. I ordered a STUFFED naan bread but nothing was stuffed apart from a couple carrot shards. They need to look in a dictionary at what STUFFED means or learn to speak English properly because it wasn't STUFFED. really poor. NEVER ORDER HERE AGAIN.

This was the first time we have used King Balti as our usual was closed. The takeaway turned up 30 minutes late and the food was of such poor quality we didn’t eat much of it. From my meal, the lamb in my curry was really tough and the sauce was watery and bland. Onion bhaji’s were chewy and the chicken very dry. We won’t be back!

The order was delayed & all the food arrived cold. Onion Bhaji's were burnt & chewy, lamb samosas dry. Ordered what I thought was going to be a curry but ended up with Chicken Tikka Pieces that were dry, chewy, and tasted awful, and the lamb tikka bhuna was tasteless. Was really looking forward to treating ourselves tonight and hadn't ordered from here in years. We're extremely disappointed, so I'm afraid we will not be ordering again.

15 mins sfter later estimate which was longer than estimated time when ordering and its still not arrived. I'd rather cancel now, go hungry & have a full refund.

Food was, as always fabulous although the papadums were a tad stale but don't let that put you off.

We ordered our dinner from here while visiting weymouth with family .food was just amazing .we order chicken tikka bhuna and mix veg karahi with nan. Every thing was great. Great value for money as well. I highly recommend this place for take away.

Won’t go back after being a regular customer for many years. Hate not receiving what was ordered in person and hate even more no care and attention to the food that they cook. Was poor so maybe changed hands I don’t know. I just won’t go again as many more places to choose from.

Very delicious curries. We ordered twice from King Balti during our one week holiday in Weymouth. All of the staff members were very helpful and listen to every details of my dietary requirements. The vegan curries I have ordered were superb and my husband also had delicious chicken tandoori curry. Highly recommending this takeaway. We will definitely come back next time visiting Weymouth.

Used King Balti for many years for Take Aways, usually very good infact last one was extremely good. But the order last night was terrible. Korma was tasteless apart from being spicy and the plate full of water! The Peshawari naan had NO coconut and was chewy. It was a meal for my Birthday and totally ruined the evening, had not eaten all day as was so looking forward to the meal. If it was a new chef he needs to change his job, certainly cannot cook. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

We were given a text 5 minutes after it was due to arrive from the restaurant saying it was on its way. So, it probably left the kitchen late rather than the delivery driver taking his time. It was disappointing for the food to be late. It did taste nice though.

Amazing hot cuisine, lightning-fast delivery, and reasonable cost in comparison to other Indian takeaways. The person taking our order was really courteous and gave us recommendations for other dishes because we wanted to try something different.

Ordered in good time for small group of people. Delivery driver phoned to ask for directions. 10 minutes later still hadn't arrived even though he described his location as on the road over. Tried to phone 3x times, ignored my call. Text, no answer. Order placed was almost £70 and it was my 40th birthday meal.

The team who work there were amazing so friendly and helpful. They even added extra things to our curry’s . The food was delicious so will DEFINITELY be back again . Lovely women took our order

Really friendly staff for whom nothing was too much trouble. Our son had a toy car but needed a screwdriver to open and they dug one up for us. Best curry in Weymouth.

Order arrived nearly an hour late and the food was cold when it did arrive!! Lesson learnt and I won't be ordering from King Balti again.

Took 2 hours to deliver, very disappointing service on delivery from just eat. Has happened on numerous occasions now. Nice food, bad on delivery

When we ordered we were told half hour for delivery. As it was a Friday night we weren't bothered when it went past that time. An hour in we called back and were told it was on its way. Ten minutes later it arrived. It was cold, literally, and the chicken was pink inside. It was too late to call them for a replacement. I doubt we will use them again.

The best, so consistent,never had a bad curry from here ever, the set meal for two is such great value for the quality and quantity of food. Don’t order from anywhere else!

Would of been nice to have a notification to say was on its way. However the food was exceptionally good and definitely good value for money, only other let down was the poppadoms were slightly over cooked but would order again and would recommend this takeaway.
