가격은 비싸다고 느낄 수도 있겠지만 요즘 한국에서도 식비가 워낙 비싸서 그렇게 비싸게 느껴지진 않았어요. 그리고 중요한 건 비빔밥이랑 덮밥은 양이 엄청 많아서 주의해서 시키셔야 할 것 같습니다.

Niente di speciale che una persona possa cucinare all'ultimo momento avendo due minuti a casa. Tavoli molto attaccati l'uno a l'altro e servizio veloce ma molto anonimo.

He sido un fan de Restaurante kimchee cerca de donde yo trabajo en Holborn. Es un gran lugar elegante con muebles de madera moderno pero elegante, un interesante menú a un precio razonable. Calle kimchee. Pancras repite la experiencia, aunque en un espacio rectangular un poco más pequeña, con una cocina abierta en la planta baja aunque con espacio adicional de dos pisos más abajo posiblemente para cenas privadas. Disfruté enormemente de un entrante como un equivalente coreano de bistec a la tártara aunque con tiras de verde así como carne cruda con una yema de huevo en la cima, y todo por poco más de un fiver! Mi esposa y mi hija compartida de un panqueque de marisco. Mi hija añadido un tazón de arroz pollo empanadas con ella para hacer un plato sustancioso. No tengo quejas de principal de mi esposa con pollo frito y los fideos udon. Mi carne fue un bibimbap sobresalen los platos con carne de tiras finas en un caldo de ajo y jengibre con champiñones, pasteles de arroz y las fechas.

Se veía bien, pero el sabor era terrible. El arroz no era sabroso y duro, es como el arroz donde se deja afuera un rato después de sacarlo de la nevera. Me encanta Gimbab y obtuve 2 cajas, pero estoy muy decepcionado y no pude terminarlo.

불고기도시락과 김치볶음밥을 사먹었는데 맛있었어요. 정통 한국식 요리라기보다 현지인 입맛을 고려한 대중적인 맛이었습니다. 간편하게 테이크아웃을 할 수 있는 점도 맘에 들었습니다.

Lots of traditional food in the neighborhood, with Kimchee standing out among them all with a diverse menu served in the Pret-a-Manger style. Fresh food easily seen on the shelf, just grab and go. Good recommendations for complimentary dishes from the staff, if you're not a Korean food regular.

Fast-food original et délicieux. Les rations sont bien nourrissantes pour un petit prix. Même les boissons sont sympas. 30€ pour 4 dans ce secteur, ça vaut le coup. On reviendra.

First time trying Korean food and really enjoyed the fresh and healthy meal. Good value for money and will be back for more.

I found one near Holborn, where provides only fast food style, ready made Korean food, probably a sister restaurant. I was quite surprised with the quality, price and taste of food; as a Korean, I can guarantee it is good. Unless you visit expensive fine dining, this is what you can expect with the price range, a lot better than its rival company such as Itsu, Wasabi, etc.. In addition, the restaurant is stylish and modern (with impressive chairs!).

I bought four items to go for a total of £7.59. The food was good and tasted fresh even though it was in a refrigerated rack. There are limited choices here, but if you like Asian food and want something cheap, fast and tasty, give it a try.

Tras salir del British museum y coincidiendo con la hora de la comida, pasamos por este local y al ver la buena decoración y la pinta de la comida que la gente estaba comiendo desde la barra que da a la calle, decidimos entrar y coger un par de bandejas. Pollo con noodles y algo mas y otras de tofu con arroz, patata y un trozo de tortilla. Menudo fallo, que decepción mas grande. Eso era incomestible. El arroz era una masa espesa que se hacia bola en la boca, el tofu habia que comerlo con la nariz tapada, a mi pareja le dio hasta una arcada, los noodles pasables pero a mi que me gustan al dente....eso se deshacia solo. Las bandejas unos 5-6 pounds cada una. Muy mal de verdad, no volveria ni con comida regalada.

First visit here. Obviously I cannot comment on the other food but I had marinated tofu with red rice. Rice was AWFUL. Totally tasteless as no seasoning at all and just a congealed lump. The tofu was okay but there was hardly any sauce and it was really just a load of sugar. I might return to taste another dish and hope that the dish I had was just a one off but will only choose something without rice next time..

Just dropped in on our way back from the British Museum to the tube. Had been wanting to introduce ourselves (and our 14 year old daughter) to Korean food. We tried the chicken and beef and both were very good. The beef came with rice (white or with red beans). We had honey tea with lemon and another with ginger. The latter went very well with the chicken. We ate in but they do a roaring trade with the local office workers for take away as well - and I can see why! Clean cut decor. Strange seats - but comfortable!Recommended! Even our daughter agrees!

I normally go to New Oxford St branch. Most of the time, the food is good (I always get the Chicken udon noodles), but on a few occasions, the sauce has been a bit too salty. The service is friendly enough most of the time but there has been an occasion or 2 where the person serving me couldn't been bothered, not really a worry but it's the inconsistency which bothers me

We came upon this fast food place by chance, while looking for a quick bite. Knowing very little about Korean food, we chose their spicy chicken dish and a fried tofu dish. To our surprise, a charming oriental lady asked what rice (plain or with red beans) we would like to go with our dishes. The food (including the rice) was tasty and very inexpensive. Makes a difference and a welcome addition to the usual fast-food chains.

Mixed feelings after my first visit here. This branch appears to be run by two very uncharming eastern-European ladies. Definitely service without any hint of a smile. But - the food was not as bad as the impression they give. Unfortunately, even though the food was promising, the staff would put me off visiting again. Probably a place to avoid when there are so many better options close by.

Cojimos unos cuantos platoa preparados y nos pusimos a comer. No es barato, dos personas comimos por £15 (sin bebida).El "Beef spicy rice" está sacado del mismo infierno, muy picante y no apto para paladares sensibles.Bueno experiencia, cantidad-calidad-precio: caro.

Eigentlich handelt es sich um milchsäurevergärten Kohl (allerdings mit Chili zusammen) ... unserer Sauerkrautherstellung sehr ähnlich (das ist die durchsichtige, runde Packung die aussieht, als hätte man Fischstücke in Tomaten-Chili-Sauce eingelegt). Die asiatischen Nudeln mit verschiedensten Zutaten sind auch sehr empfehlenswert. In jedem Fall ist der Laden für einen Besuch zwischendurch geeignet vor allem dann, wenn man in London am Abend vorhat "richtig" essen zu gehen ...

Had the beef dish, sliced wafer thin - too thin. Nice sauce but not enough. Rice was horrible. Only had rice and beans which was just a lump of rice mass not steamed nice and fluffy. Bummer if you dont like beans. No natural rice or i had to wait 40mins for the next batch to cook. Drinks a rip off like all these places today.

stumbled across this korean chain whilst sightseeing in London. Amazing fresh, flavoursome korean food and drinks. Thoroughly recommend.

This is a fast food style drop in grab some tasty korean/japanese fusion food and take away or eat in. Its cheap and yum. Great for a spell when shopping on The Strand.

We were going to the Kimchee restaurant, but ended up walking in the wrong direction and got to the Kimchee-to-go in stead. What a good concept, halfway between fast food and restaurant! Helpful staff and a perfect short stop on our way to the Coldplay concert at Wembley. We had the chili chicken with rive and the chicken udon, both were delicious and filling and around 6 pounds each. Recommended!

This is one of favourite places in London. For some, it can be bit spicy but yummy.For a family with small children, be warned that there is no high chairs.

You have the option on eating inside or ordering on the go. I was there over the lunch hour and it was hard to find a place to sit down.Be warned that the spicy is really spicy! Even for a seasoned chilli person like me. I ordered the Bulgogi : thinly sliced spicy chicken marinated in a blend of ginger, Korean dark sauce and garlic. The beef is only served in the evening I was told. The Buglogi is served with a bowl of lettuce and a thick sauce on the side. You wrap the chicken in the lettuce and out some of the sauce and voilà, you have it! The lettuce helped diminish the taste of the spicy chicken.The wait is fairly reasonable. Just make sure you go through the menu before you go to the counter as it can all be too overwhelming if you're not familiar with Korean cuisine.

Alla ricerca di un pranzo veloce sulla strada per il British Museum siamo incappati in questo coreano "to go" (che in realtà offre anche la possibilità di consumare all'interno). Prima volta in un coreano, cibo abbastanza buono, Bubble tea e bevande in genere "TOP".

Went here to meet the wife for a quick lunch date. Decor is ok, food is ok nothing much to shout about. Enjoyed the warm chicken salads more than the cold food. Best bit of the meal was the green bubble tea. Would go back but only due its close proximity to work.

Stopped by this place to grab a quick bite to eat before the theatre. We were pushed for time, so just chose a couple of the ready to go hot boxes. One was the beef with rice meal and the other was chicken with udon noodles. Both were really nice although the gyoza type dumpling that came with the beef meal was quite disappointing. Would love to go back with more time and try some of the other things from the menu.

Eaten here a few times before, have the hot dishes. Great beef bibimbap on a hot plate with raw egg, veg and chili sauce. Very tasty and filling, dish stayed hot till end. Not bad for a quick evening dinner at £8.70.

This food is not the white wash same as all fast food place.Its mid range takeaway price.But it is quite different tasting.I have had serveral items from here and some are good and some are not my type.Worth a try for something different though maybe not for people who dont like "different" flavours.The spicy mustard type sauce they give with some dishes is powerful so beware. Like a wasabi mix.

Il locale non è molto grande e durante la settimana può essere molto affollato. Noi abbiamo avuto la fortuna di andarci di domenica e cosí risultava accogliente e piacevole! Si possono gustare sia piatti freddi già pronti come il sushi o ordinare al bancone specialità koreane. Se è la prima volta che provate questa cucina, vi consiglio il bibimpab, piatto tipico che viene servito in una citola di pietra rovente. Il piatto contiene riso, verdure, carne e un uovo crudo che si cucina nella ciotola rovente mentre mescolate i diversi sapori. Il piatto costa 8.90 pound. Vale la pena provarlo se volete sperimentare nuove cucine!

Stopped here for a light bite of warm food on a cold Saturday. Had box with chicken, salad and broccoli. It was yummy and filling, but slightly over priced. The restaurant was lovely nevertheless, it was quite and calming. The staff were OK, a little uninspiring.

Grabbed lunch from here - a chicken noodle dish which was really good. It is a bit expensive though and you don't get huge amounts.

I had the Hot Pot Bulgogi which was excellent with the dates in the broth and the "glass noodles" I tried for the first time. It was delicious! I also had a bubble tea from the fridge but the colour was a little weird so I asked the cashier what was the flavour of it and she kept on insisting that there was tapioca in it, which I knew from the "bubbles" but she never understood my question. I had another question regarding the side dishes but she said everything was rice, which I didn't really get. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody!

Was craving for Asian food and wanted a quick dinner before watching a musical in nearby Adelphi Theatre and chanced upon it. I went in because the interior designed looked nice. I ordered beef hot stone bibimbap (dolsot) and citron honey tea. The tea was really good and my bibimbap was ok though I would have preferred a hotter plate. Overall an ok eating experience.

I love bulgolgi, and some forms of kimchee, so thought this modern takeaway bento-style would be great and packaging looked impressive. Since it was raining I paid the 60p extra to sit in to eat my bulgolgi salad box (GBP6.55), but the taste of the beef was disappointing (though quantity fine), the extra sauce strange, the 'salad' part minimal. When I asked for tea, I was told only one of the 3 choices on the menu was available, then none. How hard is it to keep teabags and boil a kettle?

인테리어는 참 좋았지만 음식이 가격대비 그리 맛있지는 않았네요. 만약 가격이 조금 낮았더라면 더 맛있게 느꼈을 것 같기는 해요. 그래도 바로바로 즐길 수 있기고 테이크아웃도 되기에 시간이 부족한 여행자들에게 추천합니다.

I came there several times with my friends because it used to have 50% discounts after 8 pm. But, they no longer have it. Thus, I don't see any reason to come back. The Korean food is just average, not that tasty.

Similar to Wasabi. Mass produced lunch/dinner boxes with less quality. These kind of places are only good for people who are not familiar with Korean food!! Served in paper boxes and for the prices it is just OK if you are really hungry just to please your stomach!! Will never spend my money in this kind of place again!!

Abbiamo provato ieri sera questo ristorante coreano...il cibo è stato nella media considerando I prezzi, ma per quanto riguarda il personale di sala, mi riferisco a quello femminile Lucia in particolare, è stato pessimo!ci hanno praticamente levato il piatto mentre stavamo finendo di mangiare e portato il conto senza Che glielo avessimo chiesto: Della serie ve ne dovete andare..con il locale semi vuoto e persone che stavano ancora mangiando! In oltre hanno tentato di darci il resto sbagliato perche non volevamo lasciare la mancia a un pessimo servizio! Se volete passare una serata piacevole evitatelo!

I ended up eating here thrice. Conveniently located and everything was just so pretty. The chairs wow (not super comfortable but lovely to look at. The way the food was presented also amazing! The look of the food so grand. The taste was okey. Not as good as the looks of everything. I got a free surprise dessert on one of my visits which was nice.

On our fourth night in London we decided to try some Korean food. Next time in London we'll come straight back to Kimchee.

Kimchee restaurant is one of my favourite place in London so I decided to try kimchee to-go as I was near Tottenham court road. I did not know what to choose , the have a lovely selection of salad , hot meals and bibimbap as well as tea& bubble tea . The food was lovely and the place is smart and nice. A bit pricey compared to some others asian fast food place though.

It was my first time when I ate Korean food, so I needed some assistance. The staff was helpful, the service was very fast. I enjoyed my meal. I recommend this place!

I had the tofu salad with chai bubble tea. It was ok but it is very expensive for what you get and there is not much flavour in the food.Also be very careful with reading the labels - one of the items was described as vegetarian but on closer inspection, the allergy advice stated that the item contained molluscs! I am unlikely to visit again, especially as there are many extablishments that offer a better lunch on the go for a lot less nearby (Pret, Wasabi, Itsu, Sainsburys, etc).

Encontrei o Kimche to go por acaso. Fica na New Oxford st. Perto das lojas de compras. Peguei uma salada com os rolinhos de noodles e bolinhos de arroz. Uma delícia.

Cercano al hotel donde nos alojamos y habiendo ya probado otras opciones de comida asíatica, almorzamos en este local moderno que por su ambientación y diseño, casi ni es necesario recurrir al personal, es muy moderno, tiene mesas (barras) con banquetas altas que dan a la calle o te puedes sentar mesas comunes, funciona en parte como restaurante o autoservicio de alimentos preparados, para llevar, todos en exposición ya envasados dentro de refrigeradores desde los cuales te puedes servir o hacer tu pedido de comidas elaboradas. Muy concurrido al mediodía .El menú que comimos es de buena calidad, se veían frescos y sabor agradable, sin duda lo consideramos una buena opción para volver

Every so often when I'm in a Oxford Street I pay this place a visit.It's a great little place to be when you're alone (or with a friend) and you want a quick bite to eat.The portion sizes, although at first glance don't seem to be a lot , I find them quite filling. Last time I was there I ordered the spicy chicken and also the kimbab, both which were pretty nice. The prices are quite reasonable, which is quite astonishing considering the packaging looks really expensive! All in all, a nice place in town. On a side note, the decor is simply beautiful!

Not bad but not very good either. I had the tofu salad which was ok although a bit pricey for what it was. I don't find this place to be very good value for money.

I love the food of this place. It is near where i work, and very convenient. The only down side is the staff.They do not try to engage the customer, rarely make eye contact and are often unhelpful.I only come when i really want something, because i know whet reaction to expect. I come in happy and courteous, i get an uninterested staff member.Such a pity, for such a lovely place, it really lets it down. I come here at least once a week.

Great atmosphere, was really quiet when I visited. Staff very friendly and nice. Unfortunatly, cannot really comment on quality of food, although the friend whith whom I visited Kimchee had nothing but good things to say and the selection of chilled teas were very nice. Would most definetely visit again.

Really enjoyed my first trip to Kimchee. Lots of choice and interesting, tasty dishes. It did get very busy, so is obviously very popular. It's not a restaurant however, but a take-away with some seating. They have a proper restaurant on Holborn.

Cuisine équilibrée, les plats chauds, sont très bon et assez copieux. La viande et les accompagnements sont bien cuit et très parfumés. Leur maquis coréens a base de boeuf sont aussi bons. Il suffit de trouver une place et on peut s'asseoir pour manger sur place. A choisir entre ça et un mc do, le choix est vraiment vite fait, foncez, en plus ça change.

My family and I popped in here on Sunday evening shortly before we headed home after a day shopping in London. Our first time in a Kimchee, we were all very impressed with the quality of the food and the portion sizes. One of the few places like it with a decent amount of seating (with kids we don't always want to takeaway). The staff were very friendly. The only downside was we thought we had to choose from the food already prepared in boxes in the chiller or heated cabinets but I think, judging by what other diners did, you can order fresh from the menu. We would have tried some of the noodle pots but thought they had sold out given the shelf was empty. Anyhow we were all happy with our selections, including the children. £26 for 4 meals and 2 drinks (SO much better than the ridiculous £40 we spent the day before having a tiny lunch at Hummus Bros!). Very satisfied. Thank you!

what a great little find this was. The food was exceptional - Hot, fresh and totally delicious, the drinks were very good too. 2 meals with drinks at a price that you normally pay for 1 in London. Down-side, take away packaging and reduced menu before 6pm and no alcohol.

It is NOT a restaurent. Everything is laid out already. You just go to the counter to pay and get a tray like a canteen.The tofu odon noodles were nice but a bit oily as was the kimchee. I would try the retsaurent in Holborn.

I have bough take away from here a few times for my lunch. The food is tasty and they have a number of vegiterian options. I wouldn't normally eat tofu but the way this tofu is marinated and cooked makes it so easy to eat and enjoy. Their udon noodles amazing as is the kimchee. The food is reasonably priced for what you get. There is an option to eat in with the pleasant surroundings.

Large, diverse selection of pre-prepared food.The food wasn't great and there was loud annoying dubstep music.They had wifi but no internet connection.Cool interior.

I stumbled upon this place while walking along Oxford Street. There is a good variety of pre-prepared Korean dishes that you can pair up with traditional and not so traditional drinks and even some snacks at the counter. You can get a meal for under GBP 10. Be prepared to share a long table with strangers if you are not with a big group. This place has free WiFi.

We're big fans of Korean food, but this place was disappointing. Pre-cooked bulgogi not that tasty. Soup made to order not hot enough. Only plus is they were helpful with plain tofu soup for our 4 year old. He was really happy.

Had the beef bimbimbap and just some kimchee, the kimchee soup that came with the bimbimbap were delicious, the kimchee that i bought seperatly was very nice thr staff were also very friendly.

We were drawn into this place on a rainy Tuesday because the idea of Korean fast food seemed like a nice change. And the interior was gorgeous - easily the best design of any of its competitors.On the whole I think the cold dishes edge out the hot ones - my Bulgogi Beef salad was delicious. Good choice of sides, and unusual drinks. One word of warning - the noodle soups are in need of improvement - the contain far too much kimchee (and acquired taste anyway, although I do like it) and not enough meat or tofu. Also, when they say something is spicy, it is spicyStaff are friendly and attentive and I like the place's efforts to recycle as much as possible. A good alternative to Leon, Itsu, Wasabi, Pret etc.

Ordered a noodle soup that was tasteless. Barely had anything but noodles, no sign of vegetables or tofu. It wouldn't be much of an investment to improve this quality.The place was also a little dirty.

Constantly on the search for a great Korean restaurant, a friend suggested Kimchi, mentioning that they're is a restaurant as well as take away places of the same chain. I admit to have been pretty sceptical, take away, chain restaurant, kinda mass production and stored in fridges, heated up in a microwave,... The first surprise was when I asked if they made the kimchi their self and was told that a Korean chef, quote; 'in the basement' does it. I had japchae and kimchi and both were delicious! The japchae had a nice seame oil flavour and just tasted the way it should. The kimchi was great, too. Not too fermented or too spicy (I like it spicy but the boyfriend is kinda sensible to chili and stuff...) just nice. The staff was friendly, too. All together, it definitely was a great experience to make and all my doubts are gone. Even thought it is a bit pricey, you should definitely give it a try if you like Korean food.

Great options, awesome combo options which can even be carried home. You even have place to eat along with some healthy options of drinks.

I have been to Kimchee a few times and I highly recommended. They have a COLD shelf with ready-made boxes of Korean food. They have a HOT shelf with ready-made boxes of Korean food.They can also make soups (but have not tried this).As people have said this is the Korean version of Pret a manger or Wasabi. It is nice to have an alternative in this marketplace, otherwise one would get bored of the same food.The meal with a drink is about £7, which is a great way to fill your belly. The food is wholesome / fresh. If you come late after 6.30pm, then you choice is limited by what is on offer.The GINGER TEA (with honey) is amazing, especially on a cold day. It really warms you up (£1.65).They used to have PASTIES (which had really nice filling), but they got rid of them. I am really annoyed, because it was really really nice. If the Kimchee management is reading this please bring it back!!!This is the take-away branch, but there is also a Kimchee restaurant in Holborn, which offers different food. A welcome additional to London's choice of budget food.As people have pointed out the chairs are uncomfortable, so it has been designed so that you eat quickly and then go.Please put click the 'helpful' button! I'd often wondered what that beautiful looking eatery on the Strand was. Today I was wandering in the neighbourhood and discovered it was a Korean version of pret/wasabi (which actually has a branch next door).I returned later with a friend before we went to the London coliseum. The choice of food wasn't huge but as a first visit we weren't fussy. I chose the hot box of chilli chicken which came with a couple of dumplings and rice. My friend had a breaded deep fried chicken breast with stirred friend udon which he supplemented with a portion of rice.My friend was lucky in that he picked up the box which had just been placed there by the staff, while mine had obviously been sitting in the hot cupboard for a while getting soggier on the outside and rubbery inside and tasting of slightly spicy sweet and sour (which wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't so unoriginal). There's not much you can do to ruin chicken Katsu that was freshly deep fried but the udon was tasteless and without texture.The room does look beautiful with wood grain everywhere and beautiful lamp shades. The stools were gorgeous to look at but torture to sit on.I wasn't a big fan of Korean food to start with but this experience could mean my last visit to a Korean eatery.

I have been there multiple time whilst I was staying nearby, the food is always fresh and plenty of healthy choices available. The prices aren't so high for the quality of food. Highly recommended.

This restaurant is setting its stall out to be a Korean version of Pret-a-Manger or Wasabi: Food that is inexpensive that you can eat there and then or bring back to your office.The prices fit this bill - proper main meals are around the £7 mark for a rice dish or salad, and around £3.50 for something like a sushi roll.Their atmosphere is appropriate for their aims - it's canteen environment a bit like Wagamama but far more uncomfortable. It's quite pretty, but the seats are agony by the end of your meal - good way of them turning tables?Their big problem is the very disappointing food. Pret and Wasabi specialise in sandwiches and sushi - both of which are meant to be served cold. Kimchee serves Korean food - Bimimbap which is meant to be served in hot stone bowls hot enough to cook the food on while you're there, hot dumplings, hot noodles. Sadly, Kimchee does not have proper abilities to warm the food up so food is left under a heat lamp, slowly dehydrating and becoming rubbery. The rice and food end up mildly lukewarm, not hot. Their miso soup is warm and as such was the highlight of a disappointing meal (likely the soup noodles might be served properly hot so might be one to go for). Their salad or sushi type rolls might be other ones to try if you visit.Overall, I think it's a brave experiment, but doomed to failure until they rethink their menu significantly.

Tolles Ambiente für ein Take Away in der New Oxford Street nahe Holburn mit wirklich netten Personal. Jetzt zum Essen: es ist in der Tat eine Herausforderung koreanisches Essen für einen Fast Food anzurichten. Grundsätzlich ist man wohl noch in der Testphase, wobei das Essen ganz O.K. ist, allerdings das Koreanische etwas verloren gegangen ist. Ein Besuch ist es Wert, vor allem auch um zu beobachten, wie sich das Konzept entwickelt und ob es in der Tat jemanden gibt, der die 1.000-jährigen Eier in der "Zwangszugabe" wirklich ißt.

Been to a number of Korean places in London. This is the best I've been to. Very high quality freshly prepared dishes, especially the meat dishes. Its only a fast food place (think Pret) but the interior is really stylish!
