As an older women who comes to cafes often, this cafe is okay in touches. I come here about 3 times over the past 2 months. Once with my granddaughter and the other two with one of my friends. Both said it wasn’t the best. First time was okay, would not recommend their Full English. I don’t know but the texture of everything was odd, sausage seemed cheap and their egg was cooked lazy. But the next two times I tried their ham, egg and chips meal. That was much butter, plate filled but the chips come pale and undercooked. Had to ask for it to be replaced or cooked more, no issue though seemed as if they had an off day. The times I’ve gone there is always poor management. There once was a man who works there, young, who acts out and makes the visit quite unpleasant. There was arguing so me and my granddaughter left. The next time, I believe the bosses, older man and women seemed very lazy. Always outside and only came in if there was a new costumer. I get it’s good to have a break but the other works (the young man from earlier and maybe 16 year old girl) had to do loads. I was there for about 3 hours during lunch period and I didn’t see them take an understandable break. Maybe 10-15 minutes or so to eat lunch. I’m not to make judgements but I think the younger two must’ve been working all day. On the other hand, they are all polite to costumers it’s just not a very positive atmosphere to be around, I think the two bosses should be kinder. But again, I’ve only been there 3 times. Meals good, cheap. Wish they did an actual cappuccino and stop lying, when it’s just a milky coffee.

Excellent place to eat and better than the town centre cafes. Although it is a 1.2 mile walk up a steep hill, the service and food is miles better and cooked to order so it is always hot!!!!

Where to start, Nearly £9 for one sausage, one piece of bacon, beans, chopped tomatoes(?), tinned mushrooms (?), one hash brown, two fried eggs and one piece of toast with a mug of tea. In fairness the tea was ok. The bacon was overcooked and dry, the eggs were hard, sausage cheap, mushrooms odd and flavourless and why chopped tomatoes??? The toast was barely toasted and covered in cheap margerine. Needless to say, I won’t rush back

Now Danny’s. We had a tasty lunch today, prepared and served by friendly and efficient staff. Good parking at the front. We ate inside, but could have eaten in the garden at the back. Mainly breakfast type dishes, but that suits us. My husband’s ‘mega’ was enormous, and my scrambled eggs on toast was also plentiful.

Sadly Kiki’s Cafe was a not a good experience. Starting with the coffee which served in dingy mug and tasted like made with very cheap coffee powder Then the breakfast was basic, poorly cooked and not attractive on the plate Bacon was hardly cooked , poached eggs hard in the middle and soft toast ... told by a member of staff that use of the toilet was only if you are desperate. Come on Kiki you can do better than that

Breakfast for two, outside in the sunshine of the garden. Lovely people and good, good food! Proper workmans cafe in Newbury but good enough that the racing community floods it on race days. Husband, wife and daughter team, friendly and welcoming to all. Quick, hot and loaded plates delivered to your table with a smile and a chat. Love it,

Whilst on a trip we found that our planned stop was 'out of business' so we kept driving and by chance took a wrong turn in Newbury, As I was correcting this I noticed a cafe so drove in to Kikis. We were very impressed. Service was speedy and very friendly. The food when it came was excellent for it's type. and we really enjoyed the break. Liked it so much we stopped in again on our way home.

Generally I have the breakfast (though they do a mean ham egg and chips) - the staff are always happy to swap toast for hash browns or make changes to the standard offering. Tables are always clean. Good cuppa. Nice staff. Its not the Ritz or highest quality food but it tastes great and to be honest I don't think the Ritz would understand that tinned toms are a total must for a good fry up !

I had the worst omelette I’ve ever had in my life here. Although the owner apologised no refund was offered. Cappuccino was a milky coffee I presume heated in the microwave and bacon looked like it was a month old and dragged around a shed.

I have used Kiki`s for several years. It is a simple `greasy spoon` and is particularly good for a weekend fry-up. All the usual suspects are there from fried eggs, bacon sausage and beans to omelettes. Prices are very reasonable and the service speed excellentKiki`s wll never be a top gastro experience nor does it profess to be. But as a straight forward cafe it certainly hits the mark for fast honest food and its people work hard to deliver good valueRecommended

‘Mega’ breakfast ... and was exactly that. Two each of sausages, bacon, hash browns, black pudding (declined), plus baked beans, really tasty chopped tomatoes, fried bread and loads of mushrooms. All cooked fresh, and packed into takeaway containers. A real treat for a colleague and I on a cold and frosty morning! Good value, and we both thoroughly enjoyed it - set us up for a busy day.

Visited with my daughter for the first time and ordered a £5.95 full English. Personally I don't drink tea or coffee so asked if I could have an orange juice. Was surprised to be charged extra. As for the food, the sausage was a cheap banger, not what I was expecting for a £6 ticket price and the fried bread was drenched in oil and hard. On a positive the staff were complimentary but unfortunately we won't be visiting again.

Popped in for a fried egg sandwich and cup of tea to go. The proprietor was just opening up, so not everything was set up. They couldn't have been more accommodating. Unlocking the loo's, and letting me use them, whilst they cooked up and wrapped (in a 'user friendly' kitchen towel, then a grease proof paper bag) the best tasting (so far) fried egg sandwich I've ever had, and poured an outstanding cup of tea .The best part of it, by far, was 'though the transaction was less than five quid, I was still allowed to pay by card. Perfect.

As you'd expect Kiki's offers the usually range of sandwiches and full breakfasts cooked to order. The food is tasty enough but nothing exceptional. Personally I would prefer better quality sausages but for the price the value is fine.I went during the election campaign and didn't talk politics but the staff did between them; UKIP policies if you're interested.

Been past this place before & read good reviews but hadn't been in until today, glad I did. Ordered the full English but with bacon instead of the sausage, was offered tea or coffee but don't do hot drinks. It was 11:30 but still had 4/5 people seated eating. Service was friendly & my breakfast arrived within minutes. Everything piping hot, the egg was perfectly done with a nice runny yolk for my toast to dip in to. Glad to see some chopped tomatoes instead of the usual half barely grilled one you get at Wetherspoons. Bacon, beans & mushrooms all very good. The hash brown was ok but prefer the smaller chunkier ones. Maybe a small orange juice could be offered instead of a hot drink? Will definitely be going back, worth cycling from the other end of town

Good day TripAdvisor readers. My chums and I visited Kiki's on a sunny morning ready to fill up on a hearty traditional fry-up (cooked breakfast). We were certainly not disappointed! Breakfast was very well priced and well sized. Kudos on the choice of skimmed milk for my tea - a lot of places only carry semi-skimmed or full-fat.Good sausages, bacon and fried eggs - all cooked very well. Yum yum. The staff were all very friendly and helpful too - it is nice to see a smile in the morning! We sat outside in the "beer" garden (rear outdoor seating area, I am not sure I can call it a beer garden if it's not a pub. Anyhoo) and it was splendid - a great size and perfect for the sun.The only downside to the experience was the general run-down appearance of the buildings (and especially the building next door, which looked as if there had been a house fire that had never been cleared away).Parking - lots of space. All in all, I enjoyed my breakfast, so thanks!

Lovely sunny garden with plenty of seating and shade. Excellent varied menu from which I chose the smoked salmon and then a ribeye steak. My partner had pigeon and then monk fish all of which arrived piping hot and was very tasty - we cleared our plates! Definitely would recommend this pub both for a drink and for food. The garden is lovely, they are dog friendly and the interior has had a stylish makeover which makes sitting inside a pleasure

A great place for a Sunday roast. The teepee out the back is huge (at least the size of the pub itself) and well worth taking a look at if not having a drink or two in it in very comfortable seats/sofas. There are two large screens in there to watch sport and on a match night would be a great atmosphere.

I came here late on a Friday with a bunch of (around 30) colleagues from a circus production company. The place only had 1 member of staff serving as they had sent the others home because it was quiet (prior to our arrival). Have to say that the guys serving us dealt with the sudden influx of theatre folk brilliantly. Everyone had an excellent few hours here and the cocktails were ace.
